I went when they first opened and the food was subpar and service was slow but I thought, hey they are just getting started I'll give them a chance. Just tried a second time and just as bad of an experience. Food quality is no where near the other locations. Food is over cooked and dry, and both times a simple order was messed up. The latest time our chicken was so dry and when we told the waiter she said, " I would complain but I don't feel like it" . So glad the managers walk around and ask how everything was...not. I will definitely not be giving this location a 3rd try. What a shame. read more

(Airport) Not very impressed. Beer prices are extremely high, like we are in philly. Selection is weak as well. Got a burger and it was very average. Friends grilled chicken wrap was cold. It also took a long time to get food when was not very busy. Service was pretty slow too. I won't be back personally. Other Klinger locations seem much better. read more

enjoyed a nice lunch at a high top. we watched a couple small planes fly in and out. I liked that they have a bloody mary menu, I don't normally order those but they caught my eye so I got one. The bartender was our server and she was great! We enjoyed bacon wrapped scallops and I had a taco salad. This place is nice, i used to come when it was Malabo's. The new style is nice to see the WW2 theme menus with the bomber on the front is what i enjoy. Food was great a normal I will be back again since its a nice place to stop for a drink and some good food. read more

Reading airport location has great food and fantastic waitstaff. I had the prime rib dip sandwich . It was very tender and little if any fat. I also had the cole slaw which was very good as well. I will definitely return for the same item. When I find something I like at a restaurant I normally stick with it. read more

Three of us went for wings on a Monday night. I got the AYCE wings for $12.99 and the other two bought .$60 wings since they weren't going to eat enough to make it worth the cost. If I were to rate my experience solely on my wings I would be giving them 1 star but since my friends wings were great, I gave them 3 stars. Now with that said, my AYCE wings were absolutely different wings. Mine were rubbery and theirs weren't and I do mean everyone of mine. I started with the normal 10 they give but didn't order them "crispy or extra crispy" so maybe that was the issue so I got another 5 but that didn't help. On top of that, they dumped a cup of sauce right on top of them that was literally ice cold and I'm not exaggerating because of my displeasure with them. I had a total of 12 before I expressed my unhappiness to the manger, I told her there is no way, I mean NO WAY my AYCE wings were the same ones they use for the regular menu. I was told that this was not the norm, she apologized several times and I didn't have to pay for them but in my opinion, this is in no way a coincidence. read more

This place was a favorite when it first reopened. Decent service and food. It dramatically changed for the worse as time went on. I since have gained a hatred for this place since my food has been poor quality and wrong multiple times. The wait staff is nice but their service is slow and inaccurate at times. I reluctantly went back after I said I would never again. A week or so ago my husband ordered to go specifically stating my meal was to have no mushrooms. Guess what?!?! Comes out with mushrooms. They remade it and still screwed it up. Plus made my husband significantly delayed to coming home that night. Previously we walked out after waiting a ridiculous amount of time with our kids for food. We requested that they box our food. The exact same thing happened tonight. I regret letting my husband say it will be a quick stop. It was everything but that. They boxed our food and we left. If we didn't have to pay for it I would have thrown it in the trash. My kids have left in meltdowns and crying. Tonight was one of them. This dump has caused multiple fights between my husband and I. That is pathetic and no restaurant should do that to a loving couple. Do not waste your time or money here. FURIOUS and annoyed that Klingers ruined yet ANOTHER one of my family's evenings. My two friends and i flew here the other day from solberg airport. We were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience here! The drink menu had more varieties than i could imagine with a bloody mary list including 6 different kinds they make, a very impressive selection of beer including crafts, and even a mixed drink menu. I got red eye bloody mary which was spicy and loaded with bacon, delicious! It was wing/taco night so all wings were 50 cents and tacos were $2.50. We started off with 15 wings (jameson whiskey bbq, mild and parmesan peppercorn) they were huge a full of flavor and we had to stop ourselves from ordering more so we would be able to eat our entrees. For dinner i ordered the buffalo stromboli which had cheese, chicken, bleu cheese crumbles and hot sauce in it. My friends ordered the buffalo burger and tacos. My stromboli was huge and was served with a cup of hot sauce on the side, definitely one of the best strombolis ive ever had. The tacos were also a decent size and served on soft shells and my friend had the option to choose beef or chicken. My other friend who had the burger had the option to choose 4oz or 8oz. The waitress recommended the 4oz being that it was a decent size. He was happy he went with the 4oz because he could barley finish it! Overall we were more than happy with the food and drinks. And as a bonus, our waitress Tabitha was awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials going on. I can't wait to return! read more

There is nothing I love more than a restaurant that makes their own chips. These are the best that I have ever had and now I crave them all of the time! All of the Klinger's restaurants make their own variation of deliciously crunchy, waffle-cut chips and these are simply to die for. My other menu favorites are the Lone Star Prime Rib Sandwich, Shepherd's Pie and Jameson Whisky BBQ Wings. The Restaurant itself is expertly maintained and the staff is super attentive and friendly. Klinger's is a local chain, but each restaurant has it's own character and menus vary. This place was formerly Malibooze, and before that, Wild Wings (not the chain). It sits in the Reading Airport terminal; parking is free and easy; glass walls view the landing strip. The new owners have maintained and improved the wings business. The menu is "American". The service was good. The food was good, too. Value was good. My daughter ordered shepherd's pie, and she loved it. I had crabcake dinner. Crab cakes were "Baltimore" style, mostly good crab, plenty of Old Bay seasoning. Sides were okay. I have eaten lunch here, as well, with a few folks from work. Generally good. Portion size is good. I realize I am saying "good" often. But that is really my assessment. "Good", not good enough to be called "great", certainly worthy of regular visits. read more

Very disappointed. Had a party of six which isn't large at all. The server was extremely slow. He brought out COLD food (chili). Had to wait forever for the food to arrive. Server did not come back to refill drinks. We had some people on the party who were never their before and will not be going back!!! read more

My family and I love Klingers on Carsonia but this place other than the atmosphere was awful. Although our waitress was ok every one around us was complaining about the service. One couple sat for over 15 minutes and finally asked if there table had a waitress. We are a family of four and none of us liked our food. My husbands prime rib was fatty and cold, my Stromboli was mostly peppers and onions although it claimed to have pepperoni, cheese and ham in it. Such a disappointment for close to $100. The owner was there but never stopped to asked anyone how their food was or their experience there except for people he seemed to know. I will never go back there it was truly awful. read more

Went here for the first time last night and I will be going back for more on Friday. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my absolute favorite were the philly cheesesteak fries! At our table we tried fried pickles, pretzels, onion rings, soup, burgers and assorted sandwiches. Everyone loved their food and the service was great. We will all be back soon! read more
