Have been going in since we have had to visit a relative in the hospital. Have not been here for years. The food and service are good. Staff friendly and surroundings are clean except the carpet really needs a cleaning. There was one server we had that was not very "with it" she was too busy eating and we had to wait pretty long for a beer....the place was not very busy when we were there. The next time we were there, they gave me the wrong order, it happens and I did get the correct order so all is good. We will go back, we love supporting local businesses.

My husband and I currently live in Florida but we're visiting Pennsylvania, our hometown area for a week and a half. We attended church with some friends and decided to go to lunch afterwards. One of our friends suggested Klingers. We had been to klingers on Carsonia Avenue and thought why not? Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and happily, we were seated immediately and drinks were taken also immediately. Soon after our orders were taken and within no time we had our food. It was hot and it was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly, the food was very good, the ambiance was actually really cool too with the airport right out the window. The only bad part was nothing to do with the restaurant, but no planes or helicopters were taking off. That was just a joke. It was really really awesome.

Klingers at the airport is one of a kind in Pennsylvania, you can enjoy excellent food while watching planes land and takeoff, very breathtaking if you ask me. The owner "Mark" is very professional and cares about his customers experience! Mark can be seen interacting with customers and taking input on how to improve customer service so a rewarding experience can be achieved on a consistent basis, this is rare these days! 5 stars here from me!

Everything was excellent. Busy place yet fantastic bar service. Food was very tasty. The view of the airport is perfect.

Dried out carrots, brown celery, wings were average

Don't recommend getting the celery or carrots on the side. Wings are ok not bad not excellent

    Cuban Sandwich

Had lunch today at Klingers. Been a while. We parked our planes right out front which was nice. The waitress was quick to take our drink order. She came back in a bit and took our order. Much to my surprise our food came out quick and perfectly prepared. Our waitress provided excellent service. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was very good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and I will come back. We sat outside, it was a delightful day to watch planes.

For dessert, I'll have a triple bypass sundae.

And the beat marches on. Being a fan of Klinger's on Carsonia, I was thrilled to see that its newest expansion was replacing the much maligned (and deservedly so) Malibooz Bar & Grille, which was an insult to bars and/or grilles across the globe. Klinger's, which now has three locations, is, well, a chain. Every location serves the same menu, at the same prices, in the same atmosphere. They created a brand and an image, and they're rolling with it. I'm a fan of the front of house staff - they're much more amiable than their predecessors. I'm NOT a fan of the kitchen - it's slow, and just as the cooks that came before them at Malibooz (unless they were retained?), still don't know how to cook a burger to order. Again, why ask the customer how they want it done if it's going to come out well done regardless of what they say? Overall, it seems Klinger's has fallen into their comfort zone. They've settled for banal monotony rather than trying to attempt something new. "If you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always got." The below-average rating isn't because this is a bad restaurant, per se, it just brings absolutely nothing new to the table. It falls into the pit of mediocrity, fading into the backdrop of numerous other Berks County restaurants, which are neither memorable nor worth a special visit. You can't knock the original Klinger's for these breaches of ingenuity, but for new restaurants opening, the goal should be to innovate, not live in the past. The city is on life support; it's begging for pioneering trailblazers to lead the charge. Klinger's at the Airport, sadly, does nothing to improve its brand, nor the dining scene in Berks County.

Deep fried mystery crunchies at the bottom of my wing basket!?

I ordered wings to go for lunch. They were "ok" nothing special. The sauces for the wings were different but also just ok. I won't go her for wings ever again. The wings were over fried and some were like crunchy. At the bottom if my wing basket was assorted deep fried mystery crunchies from other dishes that weren't from my order!? Like 1 brown French fry, what looked like pieces of pork rind and some unidentifiable deep fried bottom barrel garbage!? Check out my pics to see! This place is over priced for what you get. I won't return

For food, of course the chicken wings are their staple food and the quality is good. They have a standard of allowing you to choose multiple wing sauces for wing orders of 10 or more. This is great because it doesn't restrict you to one flavor for large orders of wings. The burgers, pasta, and salads are also very good. My server was very helpful and exercised very friendly customer service. Overall a good experience. I will visit again when in West Reading, PA.

Fun restaurant and bar in the Reading, PA area!…read more My friends and I were traveling through Pennsylvania and we wanted dinner, a place to watch a football game, and good food/beer. We found Brewer's on Yelp and and were very happy with our visit. Brewer's had a local feel to do it and a lively atmosphere for a Thursday night. The food menu has a large selection of different types of food so almost anyone can find something to eat. Great selection of beer with a lot of regional offerings. Also seem to run a special for different types of alcohol for most nights of the week ($6 large draft IPA beer on Thursday night). I ordered the brisket meatloaf sandwich that came with BBQ sauce and gouda cheese on top. The sandwich was very tasty and I especially enjoyed the pretzel roll it was served on. I liked that I was able to substitute a side of perogies instead of chips. The moon ranch grilled chicken sandwich was a little underwhelming and the moon sauce was the only positive to that sandwich. The service was good and our server checked back in with us multiple times during our visit. There's also a beer outlet with a large selection of craft beer attached to the restaurant so you can take local craft beer home with you. They call themselves a small place with the BIG selection!

I'll be honest, I didn't know much about this place going in, but I'm really glad I went and I'll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It's great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It's located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There's a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! The soup flight was a great experience. My…read moredaughter enjoyed the crab corn chowder best. It was a bit too peppery for me to fully enjoy. My favorite was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy and deliciously balanced. The clam chowder tasted like "old soup" as per my daughter's review. It was OK, but did taste like it was canned and therefore we didn't eat more than a few spoonfuls of it. (The crab and lobster soups were gone.) We both thoroughly enjoyed the gator bites. They were well prepared and very tender. My daughter enjoyed stated that she was surprised it reminded her more of chicken than what she had expected. The dipping sauce added a nice touch and was not too peppery or spicy. It was well balanced. The seafood gnocchi was filling and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed it and had enough leftover for another meal the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster roll and ate the whole thing. There was an abundance of fries, which I did not eat. They were good, but did have a bit more of a greasiness than I prefer. The drinks were typical Coke products, which wait staff were attentive to keeping filled. The ambiance is a great place for a casual quality meal with family, friends, work colleagues, or a date. The salt water tank in the "lobby" is always nice to look at. The place is always clean and well maintained. The booths are spacious and you can talk comfortably without being crowded by other patrons. I love this place because the food is always good and the atmosphere is calming with the dim lighting.
