Our server was very attentive and made sure she checked in quite a bit. The food tasted pretty good, though the prices are astronomically high for what you get: Cajun pasta: My wife had this, it had four shrimp in it, and it was over $30. Burger: My son had this, and it was $22. Braised short rib pizza: This was good, though the crust could have cooked a little bit longer. For three people, the total bill was $130. It is definitely the kind of spot where you just want to sit back and enjoy. The service was great, a little slow at times, but to be fair there was a big party so it was understandable. The menu is full of options which is always a win. We went for brunch and ordered lattes and they were so good. The foam and whipped cream on top were thick sweet and just amazing. We ordered the cinnamon bites as an appetizer but they never came which was disappointing. For entrees we had the Scramble Bowl and the Steak and Eggs. Both were delicious. We can here for Saturday brunch. Great open dining space largely centered around an island-style floating bar with huge garage style windows that are left open in the warmer months. Outdoor seating and private dining areas round out the space. The food and potions were hearty (I ordered the Farmer's Plate and was impressed with the multi-grain bread, thick-cut bacon, and crispy home fries), and the price was very reasonable. The staff were attentive and friendly and accommodated our request to be seated closer to the windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery. When we spoke to a manager she expressed this has been an issue multiple times and that is pretty much where the conversation ended. They've got a cool vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside at a table with bar stools. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Had the best of luck to actually visit and eat here 4 times out of the 9 days I stayed in Reading. We had dinner at the bistro one night, and brunch at the cafe three mornings later. It was a little confusing how the spots work because they are side by side and have different menus but the same entrance. Its popular so a reservation is recommended if you are going during busy times. We had dinner one night at the bistro and brunch and lots of coffee at the cafe. This place is the crown jewel of reading. It's got everything a restaurant should have. Impecable menu offerings, probably the best coffee in Reading, ample parking, ample seating, indoor seating, beautiful outdoor seating, great atmosphere, and the friendliest hostesses and waitresses. We couldn't help but come back! They make a lot of their syrups for their drinks and food in house which really sets them apart. I was really surprised by how well balanced their caramel was. Caramel tends to be really sweet but B2s was just right. They make their whipped in house too so it was really nice and heavy. Along with a lot of other delicious sauces like green salsa, chipotle crema, and lemonades. We had burgers the night we ate at the bistro and while my burger was overdone, the meat tasted so great that I didn't even mention it. They've got the best potatoes I've tasted which includes their truffle fries which are all individually seasoned. You don't have to worry that the bottom fries won't have any seasonings! Sushi meat was nice and fresh. Brunch menu was so good we tried something different each day and still had trouble choosing. Their chicken and waffles and lemon raspberry French toast was by far my favorite. Chicken was not overly breaded or oily, waffles had a hint of sweetness and their house made sricha and honey sauce gave it just the right amount of kick. The French toast came with a lemon raspberry filling, fresh caramel sauce and fresh whip. I forcefully shared this dish because I'd be delusional if I told you I finished all 6 slices. At first glance, this restaurant is very unique and inviting. The designer did a great job however, I think the employees are junking it up a little bit. There were many high chairs and cleaning supplies right inside the entrance and pamphlets, tacked to the walls and beams. A very uninviting, warning, sign, framed and blown up in the waiting area. You could see the service station area from our table. The front lobby area could be a lot more cleaned up and inviting, the menu sounded delicious and priced as if it was going to be quite gourmet. There is a whole page dedicated to sushi, so I thought it was going to be top quality; whenever I have ordered sushi from a high-end establishment all the ingredients were made to order or rice cooked very recently, tempura should be made to order. This was not the case. It reminded me of something that I could get at Guant supermarket, cold and not crunchy. The Stromboli, my significant other ordered was very underdone, and they put green peppers in it, which it did not state on the menu; and he happens to really dislike those. It also was quite small for the price. My tap micro brew bear was also flat. The outdoor area looks cute. It was snowing so we couldn't go see out to it. Sunday night around 7 pm, sitting at the bar. Name of the place is 52 BRISTO where a more proper name would be 52 Sports Bar. Sports bars are fine, but the name should represent the place. We made reservations, which was easy to do online and they were able to accommodate us much quicker than if we just tried to show up. The overall ambiance and atmosphere was busy but nice. My husband said his steak was cooked perfectly. The bad: The service was a little slow which was to be expected with how busy they were, and we had to ask our server for everything (like utensils, app plates, salt & pepper, etc.). Would give 0 stars if possible I truly wanted this to be a memorable dining experience -- it was my friend's 23rd birthday, and I chose B2 Bar & Grill hoping for great food, fun drinks, and solid service. Unfortunately, what we got instead was a frustrating, poorly handled dining experience that left both of us disappointed and ready to leave before dessert even hit the table. Our server, Alexa, started off decently, taking our drink and food orders at the same time -- a Black Jack Lemonade, a Blood Rum Royale, Steak and Eggs, and Tres Leches Pancakes. That's where things immediately went downhill. After 17 minutes, only one drink (the Black Jack Lemonade) arrived. Alexa eventually returned to inform us -- very casually -- that there was no mint for the Blood Rum Royale. My friend, trying to roll with it, switched to a Tiramisu cocktail (their twist on an espresso martini). Within 30 seconds of that conversation, our food appeared... but the first drink had literally just hit the table. It took another 15 minutes before the second drink arrived -- by which time we were already halfway through our food. Not once did anyone stop by to apologize for the timing issues or check how anything tasted. No effort to pace the meal, no attempt to smooth things over. To make matters worse, the restaurant wasn't even busy. We watched as what looked like a manager made the rounds to several other tables, asking how their meals were -- but she completely skipped ours. It was honestly insulting. The food itself? Mediocre at best. The steak was lukewarm, the eggs under-seasoned, and the pancakes had that "day-old batter" texture -- spongy but bland. The drinks, when they finally did arrive, were passable but nothing you'd come back for. I wanted to show my friend a great time, and instead, we got a dining experience that felt careless and dismissive from start to finish. For a place that markets itself as a bar and grill with flair, B2 completely missed the mark on both hospitality and basic service flow. Me and my mom came in for lunch today and our server Andrew was an absolute gem ! He made us feel so welcome . He made recommendations and truly made our experience wonderful . Stopped here for a late lunch the other day. There were a few people at the bar and one other table that I could see, aside from us. They had a one page menu as well as a separate menu for drinks. The menu consisted of a lot of entrees and not a whole lot of lighter lunch fare so I opted for the pizza and my friend got a burger. We also ordered a side of truffle fries . My pizza was really great and fresh the perfect size for 1-2 people. The fries were okay, I just don't think I'm a huge truffle fan. My friend also really enjoyed her burger. We didn't get drinks but I'd be interested as some of them looked really good . I appreciate that they had ample parking and the building itself is older and huge , there's actually a small cafe next door and loft apartments above. It was really nice. We definitely got hit in the face with a strong smoke smell - like smoked food - which was a little overwhelming but went away. In the future I would avoid coming at lunch, they definitely only seemed to be serving lunch so that they could still make a profit while they're preparing for dinner. Our waitress was nice but service was slow because they were prepping for dinner. And when there are little to no customers it feels a little neglectful . She was apologetic but my friend and I lost a good chunk of our day. This place is really nice for the area and seems to be a big hit, they also have nice outdoor seating that my friend previously got seated in and really enjoyed. My experience was different than most of the reviews here. First impression was good. It's a nice clean place and the staff at the front desk were attentive and welcoming. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks where the service and drinks were good. We looked over the menu while sitting there and I was surprised at the prices compared to the food coming out of the kitchen. It's an odd menu that doesn't seem to be cohesive in my opinion. The pizzas looked meh like they should be cooked more to be a little crisp looking. The burgers didn't look impressive and generally speaking the food wasn't presented on the plate well. We sat in the front room as a party of eight. The service was not great. Food came out at different times, mine not until maybe 20 minutes later. If the waiter had come back and checked on things he would have noticed. I don't mind spending this kind of money on dinner but I have higher expectations for the food and service. read more

The Cinnastar latte is my favorite on the menu! Tastes very similar to a cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks, but handmade and much better. The service here is also great!
