A cute breakfast spot! Lots of options it known for their sticky buns. We got one with the pecan topping option, it was delicious and not too sweet which was refreshing for an American treat. I got the avocado toast with two eggs over hard and a side of bacon. The bacon was a bit salty, as bacon can be but the rest of the meal was spot on. Fresh was a mainstay in the brunch rotation that also included, Barley Mow, B2, and Chatty Monks (RIP). It probably has the least amount of seating of the bunch, so combined with their no reservation policy, timing is everything. Weekdays are usually pretty calm, but weekends are a madhouse. Sunday hours are also a bit tighter, open from 9am to 1pm instead of the usual 8am-2pm, so something to be aware of. The food, service, and decor all get high marks. Bonus points for serving sides of jelly in miniature sealable jars. When I see jars, it tells me the owner isn't cheaping out on anything. You won't find any stinkin' plastic ramekins here. Only earthen, stoneware plates and shiny copper mule mugs. Fresh is the rare boutique-class brunchery that respects diners' space by generously giving it to them. With its compact storefront, it was a pleasant surprise to see they didn't try to cram as many tables as physically possible in the dining room. That means on even the busiest of days, you aren't forced to sit on top of your neighbor. This property has an interesting history, having been home to one of my favorite brunch spots back in the day, Bistro 614. Then, back in 2014 it burned down, managed to rebuild and reopen a little over a year later before closing down for good in 2019. Years went by where it was just a barren, neglected empty shell, and people started to wonder if anything, much less a bistro replacement, would ever move in. Our prayers were answered in 2022, and with its opening Fresh instantly became one of the trendier brunch destinations in town. Going more for quaint than SoHo chic, dining here feels like visiting an old friend, an old friend who burned down and bummed around aimlessly for a long, dark stretch, but came back better than ever. read more

I would like to express my concerns regarding my experience working under your management. From the beginning, I felt that I was not given a fair opportunity to learn and grow in my position. Mistakes, especially during my training period and first days on the job, were often met with criticism rather than guidance. Instead of being taught how to improve, I frequently felt that I was being reprimanded. There were multiple occasions where I was spoken to harshly or yelled at in front of customers, which I found unprofessional and embarrassing. I also often received conflicting instructions from different employees, making it difficult to know what was expected of me and how tasks should be completed correctly. I felt that assumptions were made about me based on my personality. While I may be quieter in my personal life, that does not reflect my work ethic or ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Unfortunately, I never felt that I was given the chance to demonstrate my strengths. Throughout my employment, I remained respectful and accepted feedback professionally, even when that feedback was delivered in a manner that I did not believe was professional. Despite my efforts to improve, I felt that the decision about my future with the company had already been made. I also believe there are operational issues that contribute to employee frustration, including inconsistent training and communication. Based on my experience, these issues may be contributing to employee turnover. I am disappointed that concerns were not addressed directly with me before the decision to terminate my employment. I believe employees deserve honest communication, proper training, and the opportunity to improve before such decisions are made. It's unfortunate that a 21 y/o has to explain this to business owners. I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that future employees will have a more positive experience. read more

What can I say about this establishment and its staff that can do justice too what they deserve? The food: This is one of my favorite places to eat and is on par with some of the elite establishments I've dined at from around the country. The food and services were revive is always impeccable. Their eggs are always perfectly cooked, my son loves their chocolate pancakes and they have never undercooked or overcooked them. I appreciate that their veggies are fresh and sautéed to perfection and not soft. Their fresh baked sticky bun is wonderful and there's no better way to eat it than to get every topping they offer! You won't regret it. My family has had about almost everything in their menu and we have never been disappointed. On top of the great food, they have the BEST Carmel Fresh-Spresso drink that makes Starbucks drinks taste like rancid waste water. The staff: I've never experienced a bad interaction with the staff and find them all to be very kind, friendly, and have great personalities and humor. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with management, we sat down after being told they were able to seat 12 without an issue, however it took an hour to get us seated, and another hour plus to get our food, Our party anticipated an issue with them being understaffed and did not take a large issue with this, however upon receiving our food, the pancakes were Raw and the seasoned potatoes were just a broken up baked potato, inedible and inexcusable. Unfortunately I took a couple bites of the pancake and it ruined my appetite. The manager came out yelling "whose the complainer here?!" And was not very friendly in the slightest.
