Friends were eating there after a power outage at their house. They politely asked if they could charge their cellphone from the outlet at their table and were told "no!". Really??! Unexpectedly great breakfast! Ordered special; Yolko Ono breakfast sandwich- homemade sausage patty on Portuguese muffin w/ pesto, spinach, tomato, cheese, & sunnyside egg. Fresh prepared, clean taste, homemade ingredients shined through. Muffin was delicious upgrade from standard English muffin, so much so, that I left w/ a pack in hand! Fresh-squeezed OJ is worth the insulin rush. Coffee was on point. People to my left raved over pancakes. Sometimes places like this look good, but fail on execution. Best way to explain this place is an amazing hole in the wall type place. Found it while looking at maps, went there and everything from the food to the service to the staff... everything was great. On my last day in PA after completing a job contract I was yearning to eat at a great breakfast place before heading to MD to visit family. I came upon Andy Pepper's after reading it's great reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Mind you this place is out in Dutch Country in PA where you'd find plenty of Amish people and farms with plenty of organic locally grown veggies and dairy products. Andy Pepper's is a small but very nice hole-in-the-wall right besides a post office. I chose to build my own omelette with organic baby spinach, cheddar cheese and Canadian bacon with Portugese muffin and a coffee. Silly me forgot to order home fries with it but I can live without starch and carbs for a day lol. The omelette was amazing. Super fresh, fluffy, puffy and huge. The Canadian Bacon was like no other. Very fresh, cooked to perfection and added great flavor to the omelette. You can see the fat on the Canadian Bacon which to me it tells that it's very authentic and not salty at all. Very satisfied with my breakfast. The Portugese muffins were excellent as well. First time trying it. If you find yourself in the Douglassville, Birdsboro, Mount Penn areas. Amazing food! All the workers are very nice. The Hash Rounds and the home made ketchup are AMAZING. The ketchup is the best ketchup I have ever had. They have lots of outside seating and limited inside, but you can always take it to go! The coffee is 10/10. read more

Update: Andy's has joined the 21st century in recent months and now has WiFi, takes credit cards and Apple Pay and has a POS system. Also new are compostable utensils and new delivery and catering menu! Business seems strong and there are a few more people cooking and cleaning up to handle the well earned business. Food still great though pancakes maybe not quite as awesome as previous? Maybe just a perception thing with the addt'l employees so I'm leaving my review as a worthy 5 stars. Two complaints Andy: 1) The disposable plates are too small for the food (the pancakes hang over an inch on all sides) and make eating a bit awkward. 2). LOVE the compostable utensils (lots of waste with no dishes/dishwasher) but there is no recycling or compost container on site? Kind of defeats the purpose ‍ read more

What a hidden gem! My wife and I frequent Andy Pepper's at least once a month. Their pancakes are HUGE and have flavors that rotate with the season (pumpkin/apple/peach/lemon poppyseed/etc.). The rotating specials are always superb, and need to be tried almost every visit. The Egg McMarket is a staple in the morning and absolutely worth every penny (two eggs, bacon, cheese on a Portuguese muffin? Heck yeah, I'll order two.). I can't rave enough about the Mother Clucker sandwich. Some of the best chicken salad this side of the Mississippi. Combine that with center cut bacon? Holy crap. Fresh squeezed juices are such a refreshing way to start your morning. Is it more expensive? Sure. But you're paying for fresh, local, high quality food rather than Sysco garbage. This place is a must visit. You'll never go back to eating elsewhere for breakfast. read more

Really disappointed. More so of the fact that after getting off of a 12 hr night shift we were waiting in the parking lot at 7:30am till they opened at 8 am. Tina the property owner comes out tapping on my car window saying we can't stay here even though we were waiting till they opened, telling us she will get us towed. Super shocked at the fact we really couldn't wait in the parking lot. Us being paying customers turned away because of the fact we were not aloud to wait in the parking lot. I used to come here all the time, really loved food and atmosphere. Always had a great experience with Andy taking our orders. But wow did this really put a sour taste in my mouth. I hope this could be a learning experience for better customer service. Honestly super upsetting since this was one of my favorite spots where I recommended to many friends and family countless times. read more

Big menu and bigger portions. The place is very clean and kept up really well. They have a ton of vegan options if that's your thing. Weekly specials. It was a tough choice ordering - I got he Superb Croissant. It was huge! croissant had a hint of sweetness to it which complimented the saltiness of the turkey bacon (it comes with regular but I wanted turkey). Stopped here for breakfast with my boyfriend, as we were camping in the area, and went off other reviews we found on Google. This place is SO adorable! Very modern and even had entire vegan menu (vegan food and desserts). We both had one of their breakfast sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! The bacon was thick and generous and their orange juice was very fresh. We also tried a side of their home fries, which we weren't all that happy with, but overall, an amazing experience. Plenty of tables outside for social distancing and there was a whole parade of people going in to get take out. Definitely will be back the next time we are in the area! read more

A welcome oasis of HOT FRESH food in a bland, mushy desert. We moved to the area from NY six months ago and I swear this is this first real food we've found.
