Unexpectedly great breakfast! Ordered special; Yolko Ono breakfast sandwich- homemade sausage patty on Portuguese muffin w/ pesto, spinach, tomato, cheese, & sunnyside egg. Fresh prepared, clean taste, homemade ingredients shined through. Muffin was delicious upgrade from standard English muffin, so much so, that I left w/ a pack in hand! Fresh-squeezed OJ is worth the insulin rush. Coffee was on point. People to my left raved over pancakes. Sometimes places like this look good, but fail on execution. Andy Pepper clearly cares about the quality of what he's preparing. Small place, indoor/outdoor seating, expect higher prices but with quality to match.

a croissant sandwich on a paper plate - A croissant sandwich with a flaky, golden-brown exterior contains egg, bacon, and greens, served on a paper plate lined with aluminum foil. A side of yogurt in a cup is visible in the background. The setting appears to be a casual dining or takeout environment, with a red surface underneath.

Super Croissant Sandwhich Best egg sandwich ever!! Every element was perfectly done and very delicious. Croissant was out of this world. Will definitely be a new staple breakfast place for me. Everyone who worked there was very nice. We ate outside on picnic benches in a beautiful little area overlooking the farmlands of PA. Hidden gem for sure!

Breakfast - A pastry dessert topped with a dollop of whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The dessert is served in a white foam takeout container, with the label 'Andy Pepper's' visible in the background. The presentation suggests a sweet treat from a casual dining or takeout restaurant.

This little hidden gem is the best of the best! Not only is this a family owned business, the food is out of this world! They use fresh, local ingredients and offer tons of gluten free options. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

On my last day in PA after completing a job contract I was yearning to eat at a great breakfast place before heading to MD to visit family. I came upon Andy Pepper's after reading it's great reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Mind you this place is out in Dutch Country in PA where you'd find plenty of Amish people and farms with plenty of organic locally grown veggies and dairy products. Andy Pepper's is a small but very nice hole-in-the-wall right besides a post office. I chose to build my own omelette with organic baby spinach, cheddar cheese and Canadian bacon with Portugese muffin and a coffee. Silly me forgot to order home fries with it but I can live without starch and carbs for a day lol. The omelette was amazing. Super fresh, fluffy, puffy and huge. The Canadian Bacon was like no other. Very fresh, cooked to perfection and added great flavor to the omelette. You can see the fat on the Canadian Bacon which to me it tells that it's very authentic and not salty at all. Very satisfied with my breakfast. The Portugese muffins were excellent as well. First time trying it. If you find yourself in the Douglassville, Birdsboro, Mount Penn areas. Shoot up to Limekiln and go try Andy Pepper's. You will not be disappointed

Andy Peppers is quality food at a great price. There are no frills here, just a team of people who want to get you fed. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options so you can bring all your friends and family. Come eat and enjoy!

Andy Pepper's next to post office. Cash Only.....

Ordered french toast and a pancake. Neither came with syrup which was frustrating when I didn't realize until I was already home.

I had a special (Shakshuka) and the biggest item in the dish was a loaf of bread. Tasty bread but the eggs were not baked and simply over super easy. Small skillet too. If not for the bread, I'd be leaving starving. The Gracie's Breakfast was more reasonable and served with a side, banana bread too. Large OJ (yes, fresh squeezed) $7.32! $125 with 22% tip for a party of four for breakfast is simply too much. Not sure I'll return. They won't struggle without me.

French Toast BLT was the ultimate meal for sweet and savory lovers, with maple syrup on the side for dipping. I got it with an over easy fried egg per the recommendation of another Yelper; amazing addition! It's also a huge portion, you will have enough to save for later. Highly recommend! The Grilled Cheese Combo is an amazing comfort food meal that will make you want a nap after. Pesto grilled cheese with nicely spiced tomato soup for dipping! My boyfriend couldn't finish it. This effectively cut the menu in half -Waters were never refilled or offered to be the entire two hours we were here -hot sandwiches were almost all served cold and the egg was overcooked on one of them -Chicken Caesar Wrap was tiny and so was the breakfast burrito. Like tiny tiny -Food and service took a very long time (two hours from sitting down to receiving check) and the place was nearly empty when we sat down and ordered -The wrong menu item was brought out for one of our friends who dined with us -an ordered side of hot sauce came nearly an hour after the initial food was brought out -the large and small drinks were volumetrically the same despite a difference in price -things kept getting burned in the kitchen and the ventilation didn't seem to be working so the whole dining area was smoky Overall it felt like the restaurant was way more focused on aesthetics and instagramability than quality of the actual food. After years of travel and reviewing breakfast spots, I found my heart restaurant. A place I know I'll think about quite often through my lifetime until I'm able to come back once again. The crooked hen is a quiet little establishment right in the heart of the hills of Pennsylvania. I love them so much my first try, I came back a second day in a row. My firet try, I ordered the lox on the NY bagel. You get a GIANT portion of smoked salmon, kapers, cream cheese and fresh tomatoes. Absolutely decadent. The salmon was perfectly smoked and still fresh, which is hard to achieve considering the cost of this ingredient. The crooked hen nailed it. The lox and bagel were better than anything I've ever had in New York and honestly, New York could learn a lesson on portion from this place! My second try, I got the crab cake eggs Benedict with hash browns covered in cheese, peppers and onions. WOWZA! The immense burst of flavor out of that first bite of crab cake blew my mind. Incredibly fresh, not too fishy and light! The HOUSE MADE hollandaise sauce was thick yet creamy and perfectly balanced. Most places serve "gritty" hollandaise sauce because it's been over cooked, set in a heat tray for too long or over heated during the cooking process. The poached eggs were actually poached too! Which is quite impressive because most restaurants choose to fry eggs for eggs Benedict because poaching an egg is hard to perfect. The crooked hen nailed that too!!! Considering eggs Benedict is what I always obsess with over during my travels! I'll be DREAMING of those decedent crab cakes for the rest of my life! The hash browns were also perfectly crisped and the peppers they layed on top were perfectly cooked and perfectly sweet to off set the savory. Again, I'll be dreaming about this dish for the rest of my life!! In to the staff and establishment: PERFECT. The facility is incredibly clean and the staff is so clearly well taken care of by management as the waitress I got two days in a row was a soft spoken and polite young lady. The crooked hen is so incredibly lucky to have this young lady!!! She was quick to serve, she was quick to make sure I was taken care of during my entire dining experience. (both days). I plan to come back over the summer on a personal trip. That's how good this place is. No wonder they've been voted best lunch.
