Delicious and large portions for reasonable prices. The service was prompt and courteous. It was a counter service ordering with a table side delivery. The latte was excellent, but a bit smaller than expected size. The ambiance was at first quite quiet and peaceful, but almost instantly became crowded and above average noise level. If you have difficulty drowning out background noise, I would not recommend visiting during peak hours as tables are also close together. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of my food as we were there for a business meeting, but I assure you I would recommend. read more

One of the best breakfasts in the area, and the coffee is great as well (I'm a fan of the americano). No misses on any of their meals, though the sweet cream pancakes are a particular standout, as are the bananas foster French toast with orange brandy (!!!). Huge portions. Plus, on weekdays they hand out complimentary mimosas. My only possible complaint is the access to condiments. The coffee does not automatically come with cream, and it's not on the self-serve shelf with the sugar packets. Likewise, the toasted English muffins do not come buttered and they don't ask about whether you want it at the register. So sometimes you have to get up multiple times to ask for the basic things. Service is friendly and prompt and I LOVE that the music is chill jazz and piano. It's a great environment to meet up with friends or even to bring your laptop and work for an hour. It does get pretty busy at peak times in late morning (like 10-11:30 am) but they have a really nice patio out front that will double the table space once the weather warms up. read more

I want to be very clear about my review from the start. Everything was yummy, service was great, and it was a nice atmosphere. But it was VERY expensive! More below... My husband and I thought we'd try this for our post-Valentine's day breakfast. We ordered 2 large coffees; 2 eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns; breakfast pizza; and French toast. We wanted to try everything! It cost more than $50!!! And what made that costs so outrageous is that while the food was good, it wasn't anything above diner food quality food where I could have gotten everything for less than half that price. The food was good, but not worth all the extra money spent. The staff was all very friendly and amicable. The service as incredibly fast-- I was shocked it arrived so quickly. The venue was very clean and had cute cafe vibes. Self service to pick up your coffee accoutrements and you needed to clean off your own table space at the waste bin. Despite the price, I'd like to come back in the spring so I could sit outside at the nice cafe tables and try a lunch choice. Glad I tried it to speak to it but I'll stick to my diner quality breakfasts for diner prices. read more

A firm three due to noobs. I was standing at the counter with half a Folino Club sitting on a plate trying to get a box. Three girls were pretending to fix a coffee maker because I think they thought I was bringing my sandwich back to complain. Luckily a manager looking guy popped out of the kitchen and noticed me. He had sharp business acumen. Perhaps it was Mr. Folino himself, my club sandwich's namesake. You ever meet the guy a sandwich you just ate was named after? Are there any Primanti's still out there? Another boo-boo was when my friend ordered an espresso cortado and got maybe a macchiato instead? Or maybe it was an Americano, or breve, or mochaccino. Actually you know what? I don't fault them here. That's a lot of drinks to learn. All I know is next time I go I'm getting Affogato, which is vanilla ice cream "drowned with a shot of espresso." For $6, I feel like that's not a bad deal. It could be a dessert. Or starter. I think I'll go one day and just order a three course meal of them, one after the other. The espressos come with a segment of wafer, so that's a nice touch. The Folino Club is truly a marvel. It combines - get this - turkey AND ham. I mean holy crap, is this a culinary revolution or what. When It came to order my side, I panicked and got the fruit cup. It was a strange pairing. I didn't hate it. I'm sure my coronary arteries were happy. It's rare the vegetable version of something ends up being the most expensive of the litter, but that's the case when it comes to the garden vegetable omelet. And you really get a full garden, including fresh mushrooms and broccoli. with hash browns and toast to round it out. For $15, you could do worse. In the fall and spring, it's going to be nice to sit out front. Next year, when the rest of the shops nearby are open, this place is going to be popping. Cafe Folino got the jump on everyone. I was in the area and stopped in for a late-ish breakfast the other day. The vegetable garden omelet was probably the best omelet I've had that I didn't make for myself in my own kitchen. Be prepared for a filling breakfast. It's not the price, it's the value and the vegetable garden omelet is definitely a value in my opinion. And relaxing? Smooth jazz background music in the background, loud enough to listen to if you wanted, but still soft enough to ignore. I think the serer was a little new, but everyone has to start some time, right. The server did everything right, but seemed a little hesitant figuring out the next step. Not a real problem, and a little time will fix that. All in all, it was a really good breakfast experience. Indoor and outdoor seating is definitely a plus - with the outdoor seating separated from the street so you don't feel like your sitting in a parking lot or on a medial strip. It looks like there's plenty of on-street parking. I'm looking forward to a return trip the next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

This was my first time visiting. Loved the outdoor seating at Cafe Folino. The planters of flowers make it feel inviting and the umbrellas provide plenty of shade. Service was quick and easy at the indoor counter or they had QR codes at the outdoor tables if u wanted to order from outside. Service was good and the waiter went out of his way to be helpful. I enjoyed the cream pancakes and took home a croissant. My friends enjoyed their meals too. We plan on going back. read more

Cafe Folino was a cute place to catch breakfast. The restaurant just opened this week so we planned on having some grace when going. (Time wise) All staff seemed very pleasant and working hastily to make sure everybody had a good experience. We ordered through a table/phone ordering system. It worked perfectly. I had a vanilla cappuccino which was made to my liking. I ordered the "breakfast mess." It was a good size portion, I enjoyed it, and took half home. My husband got the "hungry man's breakfast." Out of the whole thing we enjoyed the sweet cream, pancakes the most! We highly recommend them they were delicious. And just out of curiosity, I decided to get another coffee. An iced mocha latte with a croissant on the side. The croissant has some delicious sweetness added to the top of it. Try one, you won't regret it. only thing for right now as they're opening I would recommend being patient as it takes some time to get your order, but that of course, may change as time moves on. Other random things to note- you can order at your table/through your phone (QR Code), online, or at the counter. You do not have one direct server, any server can help you. There is a spot to put your dishes when you are done eating. You clear your own table when done. There is indoor and seasonal outdoor seating. You can park on the street or across the street in one of the parking lots. They do not serve a full breakfast on Sundays. They do have lunch options which I'm excited to try at another visit. read more

Just terrible! overpriced with minimal service. You are asked to order from a screen at the counter or at your table using a q r code. and of course, you are asked for a tip before any service at all. They do bring your food to the table. but no salt, pepper, cream at table. You must get it yourself or ask. The portions are small and the quality of the ingredients is poor. $16.00 eggs Benedict were stale English muffins with gristly Canadian bacon, and separated hollandaise sauce. Frozen, unseasoned hash browns on the side. No garnish of fruit, parsley. No seasoning. This place is just a slightly dressed up fast food place. Breakfast for 2 with coffee will run you at least $40.00 and it is definitely not worth that. Breakfast at any diner in the area is better cooking and actual table service. read more

We were looking forward to a new breakfast spot as the choices are so limited, however we were disappointed. The food was ok but portions were very small for the price. My wife and daughter had French Toast and it was on normal size sliced bread. Our specialty coffee was in a small mug about 1/3 to 1/2 you would expect from a nice restaurant. Decor and service was fine but better value can be found dining elsewhere. You pay a premium price for small servings and average quality. read more

I really wanted to like this place, because it seems so cute, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. After waiting over 30 minutes for my breakfast food, my name was finally called! I went to pick up the bag from the counter, but the worker kept their hands on the bag and asked if it was mine. Um, yes, that's why I came to get it when you called my name... I was pretty hungry at this point, but if the food was going to be good then I can get past the wait and service. Well... it wasn't. My partner's eggs were over cooked yet somehow cold. The cheese in my omelette tasted... strange. And this is coming from someone who LOVES cheese. I almost wonder if it was the plastic-wrapped singles. The "best" part of my meal was the plain white bread, yikes. I don't know, maybe their coffee and pastries are good, but I would absolutely not come here for breakfast food. I was hoping for a convenient new spot for a quick lunch during work but was disappointed with our visit. The food just wasn't very good. I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a water, see picture, and my friend got a Chicken Caesar Wrap and coke, and it ran us each more than $20. For the quality of what we got, the price seemed very high. There are far better options just up the street. The positives are there is plenty of parking a short walk away and the patio was a nice option for us since the weather was beautiful when we went. If you want a quieter spot, this place has that for now since it is kind of off on its own, but if you are looking for a lively atmosphere, this may not be what you are looking for. Service was fine. We ordered and got our table number stand, a nice lady cleared us a table, and our food was brought out shortly after. I think this place just needs to figure out what food it can be great at and focus on that to ensure everyone has a great experience. Until then, I would not recommend. read more
