Peppermint hot chocolate- on drink specials list

On a Thursday at 6pm-the cafe was hopping! I had a peppermint hot chocolate which was on the drink specials list. I also enjoyed a salad and my husband had our standard Nathan's chicken sandwich. Service was friendly and quick-like usual. This is such a cute place!

Came here for the first time today and had a great experience. I rarely give 5 star reviews but I believe this place deserves it. The food we ordered was delicious (Stonehouse Grilled Cheese and California Burger). We also got Broccoli Cheddar soup and that was DELICIOUS The hazelnut iced coffee and caramel macchiato drinks were also pretty good. Initially when we came in, we were greeted by a woman behind the bar area...but we ordered with ponytail guy. Wish I got his name. He was very friendly and personable, felt like he recognized and acknowledged a lot of the regulars there and quickly came over to chat with us at the bar seating. He was chatting with us about Pokémon Go and was so chill. Ponytail guy was awesome (to ponytail guy I'm sorry if you're reading this and I didn't catch your name. I'll make sure to ask next time lol). Overall great experience and great staff! Food & drinks came out quickly!

You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Very good food. I had the quinoa fiesta bowl with shrimp. Great flavor and the shrimp was fabulous! Perfectly cooked. My son has a quesadilla but it was modified to be only cheese. He was a very happy boy. My mom and the quesadilla as it was listed on the menu. She said it was great, it was a little hotter than she expected so if you're not into hot ask them to remove the jalapenos. Love those K&Z pickles.

Still continues to be an excellent cafe in the Lancaster area! All the food is amazing, fresh ingredients and delicious. All employees are very nice. Perfect spot for a breakfast or lunch with friends.

I enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of the cafe, which exuded a historic architectural charm (they preserved the old structures of the building). The barista, who was also the only cashier/server at that time, was very friendly. Both the chai tea and latte were excellent. The food arrived promptly and was surprisingly delicious and filling. The cafe offers ample parking and an outdoor seating area. I would definitely go back for more lattes!

There is delightful seating options including window seating, bistro tables, and comfortable seating in the back where there is a variety of interesting items to see and purchase. The décor is eclectic and fun with a European vibe. The menu items are diverse and plentiful. There are vegan and vegetarian items, like the flatbread pizza my friend savored. I chose a ricotta cheese crepe special which was not at all what I expected. It was served cold and very sweet, with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and fruit. It was very good but much more of a dessert than I thought. There are many options for specialty teas and coffees. I had a vanilla flavored black iced tea. The tea is prepared as ordered. There is a generous bakery case with a variety of different decadent options. A local bakery provides the pastries and they are all made with attention to detail, like little real violets on the iced bundt cakes. The macarons were some of the best I have ever had with a lovely creme filling. I also tried a very thin almond covered cookie that looked like it would be crisp but it was very soft. The prices were very reasonable and there is nothing not to enjoy about this eatery. From the food options and desserts, drink options, decor, seating, location and prices, this is as good as it gets.

We actually ended up grabbing one of the last tables in the place. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. It's warm, cozy, and full of energy. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. One of the crêpes we got was the Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake, which was sweet, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't overly sugary but definitely dessert worthy. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delicious!! Our specialty coffees for the month were also excellent. They had a fun Valentine's themed lineup, and both drinks were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I got the Not Your Sweetheart Latte and Ryan got the Chocolate Heartbreak Cold brew. If you go, one thing you absolutely have to try are their chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They have Rice Krispies in them so they're crunchy inside, and they're ridiculously good. Yes, it's a local coffee shop, so prices are a little higher than a diner, but honestly it's no worse than Starbucks and the quality, atmosphere, and uniqueness are miles better. They also have multiple locations, but the Lebanon shop has a great vibe and is clearly loved by the community.

I also never skip the seasonal drink special. Today's was the apple chai-der and it was so cozy and delicious. Their drink specials always feel like you're sipping the current season through a mug. Zig's also has an entire cooler/freezer wall packed with soups, applesauce, and grab-and-go meals. My all-time favorite soup is the Tomato Pepper Jack absolutely phenomenal. If you see it, grab two.
