Kinya Ramen - Delicious food - Ramen Near Me - Wyomissing, Pennsylvania

The ambience and interior decor are so cozy, and the staff are friendly and helpful! However, as a first-time visitor, I did have my order messed up on two separate occasions, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, the food was still good! The Curry Chicken Ramen leans a little more toward the spicy side, while the warm Kinya Chicken Ramen has a savory broth with a nice kick of garlic and pepper. I also ordered the purple sweet potato croquettes, which aren't on the menu, and they came out perfectly crispy and savory with just the right hint of sweetness! Despite the mix-ups with my order, I enjoyed the food and would definitely come back! read more

Stopped in for dinner while on a business trip. I picked up the pork Gyoza and Bao buns. Both delicious! Priced very reasonably too! The Gyoza was seared nicely and filled with well seasoned ground pork. The Bao buns were steamed to a delicate texture and the pork slices were delicious! I'll be back if I'm in town! read more

New place with lots of parking next door and across the street in The Block. Interior is very nicely decorated. The waitress was very attentive. When we went on a Friday night it was not that busy but they have only been open a few weeks. We split a Ramen, pork bao and a pork belly skewer. Both had incredible flavors. The pork belly skewer was seasoned well but if you don't like a lot of salt you might not like it. We would go there again. All in with water it was $30 read more

I love that I stumbled upon Kinya Ramen while driving around West Reading. The restaurant just opened, it was very clean, staff were attentive and quick as well. There was a hostess gentlemen that was very funny and cracking jokes with everyone. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back and try more! I also ordered the brown sugar milk tea with no boba and it was great, not too sweet. Salmon avocado taco hit the spot. I threw in all the chili/hot sauce in my bowl for the extra kick. Please note they do charge an extra .50 for hot sauce and ramen hot sauce. read more

My husband and I stopped here for an impromptu lunch after hearing about it. We got in just before they filled up for lunch. Staff was super nice and Bunny did a great job taking care of us. We really enjoyed the rainbow roll. I loved my spicy ramen and it was def a huge portion. The spice level was perfect. They have an outdoor patio which will be perfect for the warmer months. It's very warm and inviting. Def will make my way back. read more

We ordered rolls and sushi for our New Year's Eve dinner and were very disappointed in the food, the value for the price and especially the presentation. The four rolls were jammed into two small to go trays and everything was basically the same dull brownish color; the rainbow roll had no rainbow and there was no sunset on the sunset roll; sriracha was smeared sloppily on top. We ordered a couple pieces of salmon sushi which looked and tasted very tired and the seaweed salad was very small and rested on a large bed of leaf lettuce. It was not enjoyable and was a poor way to ring in the new year. We won't be going back. read more

Service was quite efficient, restaurant had a nice ambiance and modern feel to it. Tonkotsu ramen - best broth of my life!!! Was very flavorful, creamy and just so delicious. Would come back again next time we're in the area! read more

Very good meal, reasonably priced. Couldn't decide between sushi and ramen, so I had the spicy tuna sushi "taco" appetizer and veggie ramen. While small (3.5 inches), the sushi taco was tasty. The veggie ramen was very good and filling. Don't be turned off by the ingredient listed as black fungus, it's another name for wood ear mushrooms. The waitress and server were very nice. Looking forward to visiting again. read more

Kinya Ramen - Miso ramen with pork - Ramen Near Me - Wyomissing, Pennsylvania

Great ramen and Japanese offerings with very attentive service!!! Nice appetizers and sushi options as well.

Hands down the best ramen joint in Reading. There are or were 2 other ramen joints in Reading and they just do not compare. They have several other offerings beyond ramen but we only had the ramen. The sushi tacos looked good though. We came in during a festival in town so it was rather empty. That said there is a parking lot across the street for easy parking and access. The service was excellent, I had green tea and the little pot was filled as often as I needed, I never had to ask. The place is new, clean and very nice. The broth in the ramen is almost creamy. So good, my son and I had spicy dishes and the heat was perfect. Everything was very tasty and delicious. They do not serve alcohol yet, that is allegedly coming soon. I will be back! read more

Had seen this place advertised for a while and stopped by for a dinner with a colleague from work. Food was great, but my quibble is with service: they brought the ramen before the apps arrived and instead of waiting, they just brought everything all at once. read more

Kinya Ramen - Kinya roll has gold leaves on it. - Ramen Near Me - Wyomissing, Pennsylvania

We ordered from this restaurant (first time) through DoorDash. I got the spicy ramen with pork and my husband got the Tonkotsu ramen. we also shared spicy deep fried gyoza pork. Love the packaging! the order was placed in a reusable bag and stapled shut. they included a menu! I love the plastic containers as the broth was kept separate so the contents wouldn't be mushy or overcooked. perfect. it was filled to the brim. The food was phenomena!! We loved it all. I look forward to ordering again from Kinya. the food arrived hot! thank you! Highly recommended. read more

I enjoyed this spot which was close to the hotel I stayed in during my visit to this area. Their ramen broth was really good. Different than what I'm used to but good. I went twice during my stay in the area. The service was good and the first time my food took a whole but my second visit was a lot quicker. read more

This was a Door Dash order, so I cannot comment on the restaurant, the staff, or anything like that. This is strictly based on the ramen. We had lunch at home together as we are both working odd shifts this week, so we got some takeout ramen. First I will give them Kudos on the excellent packaging for deliveries. Broth in a lower bowl, and all the ingredients on the top compartment so nothing is soggy... really really cool idea. The ramen was ... fine I guess. The noodles were plentiful, the ingredients tasted good.... The broth though. I'm used to a much more flavorful broth. With tons of umami and dimension. This broth was very "meh". Like it wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It just was. It's hands down an average meal. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't come here expecting the best ramen in town. read more

I want to give it 4 stars only because our service was spot on. BUT, the restaurant was very blah atmosphere wise almost a lesser PF Chang"ish". I asked for hot sauce and the only offering was ground chili peppers and oil. Service was fast and friendly. Food was decent but not date worthy Price is higher for what is being offered It's good for a fast meal. read more

Wow!! Very unimpressed. Had the dumplings and they tasted like they were put in a microwave then put in a pan. Very dried seasoning on them. Sauce was great. Had the beef and chicken skewers. Beef was like a piece of rubber boot and very funky ( not good) smell and flavor. The chicken was somewhat tasty but as dry as popcorn. The manager was a holding a hostess for not working. All in all a poor effort and pretty poor food. I will not be going back. read more

Can I give this place 10 stars? The ramen is amazing, the service is always great. My favorite place to eat when I'm home!

Excellent service, though we were there at a slow part of the day. Ambiance and interior design are great. Very nice and interesting part of town with a parking lot nearby. Some unique menu items. I had a classic ramen and takoyaki which were both very good. read more

This restaurant is not celiac friendly. I visited this spot last night. When I sat down, I asked the server what gluten free options they had. She told me she would ask her manager. When she came back to the table, she listed the items that were gluten-free. I ordered and she brought back Food that clearly contained gluten. I ordered a spicy tuna roll GF. They served it with Panko chips that are certainly not gluten-free. Even after I specifically made that clear. Please be careful when ordering as staff is not trained on gluten friendly options , and apparently that manager and cooking staff aren't either. They should know that it is not a trend and that if someone has celiac, they could get very sick from eating food with gluten. read more

Very disappointed. Don't recommend. Food was average at best. Good atmosphere and service. But that only gets you so far in this business.
