Excellent fish very good sushi for the area. Nice ambiance good staff. Salmon main tuna tataki excellent. Rolls were very good.

This is the place for the freshest fish in the area. They also have a great fish market at the fairgrounds market. I wish that they still had sushi at the market and fresh fishmonger at the restaurant read more

The food was absolutely delicious!! The service on the other hand was some of the worst we ever had. I had to ask the waiter for our drinks which he forgot about, our soy sauce was practically empty when we received it, had to ask for water after our first glass. Had him constantly back at the table, simply because he forgot or was overwhelmed. We also received our meal not more than 10 minutes after our appetizer, all we heard was I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry. As far as the ambience? Not going to get to far into this, the noise was ridiculous we could not even have a conversation with each other, which what was supposed to be a special night for us turned into a disaster read more

I always wanted to try this place & I went yesterday for an early dinner. The place is beautiful inside & very clean. Nice bar & sushi station. We were greeted as soon as we walked in & when we departed. Our server was pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, I found this seafood restaurant lacking in a variety of seafood. Mostly sushi and a basic menu. I ordered the fish & chips - it came in a bowl - which was odd to eat from. It was mostly chips & two small pieces of fish on top-nothing special but the chips were tasty. Lobster bisque, very little lobster and mostly cheese filler. The shrimp cocktail - nice large shrimps. Overall it's okay but will not be going again. read more

Mmmm it was good, not great and kinda pricey. Parking is a little sparse and not sure where we would have parked if we hadn't gotten the last spot around the building. The highlight of the evening was the server, she was wonderful. The drinks and beer list was typical, I feel the cocktails were overpriced, averaging around 15 a drink. The appetizers were the better part of the meal, we had tuna, crab beignets(very good), and fisherman's stew. The stew was good but begged for a nice piece of crusty artisan bread to accompany it. Two of us had king salmon, not what I expected. I love me some king salmon! It might be that it was over cooked? Anything above medium well, in my book, is over done. The side, some sort of tian was very good. Three of us had sushi, good not great. To sum up, some highs and lows with respect to the food, most things seemed a bit over priced. Service was good and food was served hot and at the same time. More of a 3.5 but I don't round up, sorry Go Fish. read more

My first time here and I have been hearing about it for years - Go Fish did not disappoint! We started with the hush puppies and Brussels Sprouts - so good and a great way to start our meal. I tried the BBQ Bombshell sushi roll and it was delicious and different- tempura shrimp with lots of great BBQ flavor- my companions had the crab cakes, the scallops and some sushi and it was all wonderful. The service was perfect- I can't wait to go back! read more

Go Fish - Monkey roll in middle, spicy tuna on sides - Seafood Near Me - Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania

Go Fish has some of the best sushi I have ever had. We started going there when they were in West Reading and were so sad to hear about the fire. At that time it was very small, tight and was BYOB. We still loved it. Then they moved to their current gorgeous location that has a bar and so much more room. I love: - The freshness of the fish - The selection of unique rolls. ALWAYS delicious - The raw oysters - Local beers on tap - The service - they are truly looking out for you The hardest part is always deciding what not to get. I have never had a disappointing meal here! read more

Took a chance on an evening out, and was skeptical of a seafood restaurant in Berks County. The old establishment on Penn Avenue was shut down after a fire, and so they moved into an old warehouse in Sinking Spring. The floors and brick walls are original, but they did a fantastic job of creating ambiance. Between a fireplace and makeshift fish market, it felt cozy and romantic. The food was prepared well, and the drinks were potent. Our server even gave us an honest opinion of the menu items, steering us towards something delicious. The bar was crowded and popular as well. In the Reading area I couldn't recommend a better seafood restaurant. read more

This place is delicious!! The staff is also very friendly and it's a fun place to be. They do take reservations and I would suggest doing so on the weekend just in case. I will say if you don't loud restaurants this may not work for you, besides that it's a great place! read more

The food is delicious. The presentation is eye appealing . Pleasant staff , efficient service and atmosphere are delightful.

The food was presented beautiful, tasty and our server, Kaylee was way above prompt, always checking on us. The drinks were the best and unusual. Best chevicia I have ever had. Can not wait to go back! read more

We went once, I would like to return to see if our experience is different. They did not have our reservation, we waited for a table as it was very busy. They sat us in the bar area at a small round table. It was ok but a little cramped. My husband ordered sushi and I ordered soup. My soup came out in 1/2 hour and my husbands sushi came out 45 minutes later after the waitress kept apologizing and saying they were working on it. When it came it was not what he ordered but he are it anyway because we had been there so long. We had to go to the bar and request to pay our bill. Our entire experience took almost two hours and we were almost late for the movie we were headed to after dinner. Which is why I made reservations. read more

Best brunch in Berks. I love a good brunch NOT BREAKFAST. Go Fish does brunch right. Aside from traditional brunch items, the crab Benedict is excellent but the piece de resistance is the butter poached lobster tail Benedict. The tail was well cooked wit just the right amount of butter. Eggs were perfectly poached, and everything on the plate blended in harmony (I think I heard the gods singing when I took my first bite. Modern industrial design, great vibe. Very much recommend. read more

First time here....very nice , new atmosphere....personally a bit pricey.....but that is just me....my salad was very good and displayed very nice. Sorry I did not take pictures. Lobster dip was good, but a bit salty, which leads me to think it was processed item and not home made.....fish and chips: too many fries, even though they were very good- fish was mushy and not much. Clean place, servers were very busy and friendly. My step son actually helped build handicapped railing outside. Hubby says not going back....we'll see.....always support local restaurants!!!!, read more

I really enjoyed my meal here. I was in the area for a concert and wanted to have a nice dinner. I sat outside, so I didn't see much of the inside, but it looked nice. I had the 619 roll and the scallop entree. The roll was fine, I didn't find the "spicy krab" particularly spicy and I didn't see or taste any avocado, but it wasn't bad. The entree was great. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto had great flavor. Some minor textural issues with the risotto, but it didn't detract from the overall meal. It was a little pricy, but I knew it would be when I saw the "MP" by the scallops. They were worth it, though. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely stop by again. read more

My friend and I decided to meet here for girls night since she had never been here. Overall, my experience here was 10x better than the last. The drinks were excellent and FULL! Steph was our server again and she always does such an excellent job. She was incredibly busy and stayed on top of things through the night. We split the lobster dip, which was fantastic!! I got the fish and chips and it was a decent portion. I also ordered 3 rolls, which most went home, but always so fresh and delicious! read more

Go Fish. Once a staple in West Reading, and one of the first "nice" restaurants we ever went to. The sushi was always fantastic, as were the appetizers and small bites. Unfortunately a fire took their restaurant and after some renovations , it was turned into the Beer Wall. Go Fish moved their operations to the 5th St Farmers Markets where we were able to get take out sushi but it just wasn't the same without the weird varieties of sushi, and amazing sides. So, after much delay and reading some initially poor reviews, we decided to check the new place out . First off, parking is weird, and the entrance isn't clearly marked.... Second, the person greeting us on this random Tuesday was very friendly and even checked on us while we were halfway done with our meal. We started with the oyster appetizer, and they were very good. Not a huge fan of the amount of Yuzu foam on top, but otherwise they tasted super fresh. We ordered 4 sushi rolls, The Dragon Balls, the rainbow roll, the oyster tempura and the Tantalizing Piggy(more on that in a second ). The Rainbow roll was your standard delicious rainbow roll. The fish tasted great and the quality was excellent. The oyster tempura roll was delicious as well, these two are part of the "standard" line up. The Dragon Balls. I don't even know what to say about these. Fantastic. I dont even know what they were to be honest except delicious. Now, the tantalizing piggy. Pork Belly. Sushi. Let me repeat, Pork Belly,. Sushi. Not at all the traditional style but F(&*&*&* delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a little different. Our server was awesome , asking us about refills and our experience at just the right intervals instead of being annoying and in your face (it was a slow Tuesday so sometimes servers just have a way of being too much) . The experience wasnt the same as the old location, nothing will replicate the times we spent there , but this new place will hopefully produce many more outstanding memories and meals. Kudos to everyone on a job well done! read more

The food was very fresh, especially the raw oysters (which duh, you kind of want in an oyster). I sat at the bar which was fine, a friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again if in town. read more

My husband and I went here for his birthday after doing some antiquing. We were blown away by the food and drinks! The oysters were so delicious and fresh, and I loved the bellini flight. My husband is hard to impress and usually ends a meal saying he probably could have made it better at home...he finished his fish sandwich and declared he couldn't even try to replicate what they did, it was that good. We were disappointed there was no sushi on Sunday but that just means we'll be back soon! What a great place, cute inside and our waitress was fabulous and so helpful. Can't wait to come back. read more

Ambiance is very nice. Service was bad - very slow . Sushi was good. Entrees are overpriced. My wife had salmon and requested it to be well done and it came out raw. We sent it back and took 1/2 hour + to get her meal. This was a second try here and disappointed again read more

It's ok but not authentic sushi , I have been to several Asian American restaurants, all over the country , I've never smelled Fishy raw calamari it was awful and the salmon was over cooked with soggy vegetables too salty, my friends got the crab cakes taste like burnt dry. Service was ok we had to wait for our food, not to mention it was super overpriced for what it is. Upsetting because I heard good things from friends that recommended a month ago. Not worth going back. read more

I do highly recommend this place, the food is good, stall is awesome and the drinks are great. I have eaten here several times and always excellent experience. But, this past Saturday 10.1.22 the dinning experience was less then past experiences. They ran out most of the entrees and one table was upset nearby because they traveled over an a hour to dine there. I understand that things happen through demand, supply chain, etc ... but to run out of several main entrees on a Saturday is bad. I'm shocked that customers weren't offered a compensation to choose an appetizer with a side of fries. I worked in bars and restaurants and we always try to compensate a customer to try and make them happy. I am not looking for any freebie's, but they should have told you before you sat down and ordered drinks. If they would have seats when we arrived " We only have 2 main entrees left", we could have decided to stay or go somewhere else to dine Will I go back ? Yes, I won't let one experience ruin my appetite read more

Food was solid. Service was absolutely horrid. Drinks took 25 minutes. Weren't able to order entrees til we were there for almost 90 minutes. Then when our entrees came out, only half of us actually received our food. We tried to be polite and understanding, and our waitress treated us like we did something wrong and gave us attitude. $440 bill for five people and the service ruined the experience. read more

Go Fish was recommended as having very good sushi. I will say that the fish is fresh, but if you like to branch out and try something different, this isn't the place. Several "common rolls" are available on the menu, but with the reviews and atmosphere, we expected the uncommon and deliciousness. Go Fish, if you read this, create some new rolls with your fresh fish and less krab, cream cheese, and shrimp tempura. Drinks from the bar were delicious, new, and uncommon. Sushi Chefs should take some notes from your bar manager. read more

Food was good. Was a busy night service was a little slow but will return. Friendly staff nice and clean.

Waited 40 minutes for drinks; almost 2 hrs. for our meals, which by the way were cold, not thoroughly cooked, extremely bland; and then told by the owner Heather Clark not to come back because we questioned the amount of time it took to get served. Well Heather Clark, you really didn't have to ask us not to come back. Your belligerent attitude along with poor quality of food would've been enough for us to make our own decision NOT TO COME BACK. And by the way, we'll let all we know of the treatment we received at your restaurant. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Go Fish. We went as a four-person group and were seated at the sushi bar. The owner, Heather, was extremely knowledgeable on menu items and extremely kind! We started out with Grilled Octopus, Clam Chowder, and Fried Calamari. The apps for all amazing. Then for entrees we got sushi, and the scallop entree. The food quality at Go Fish is in a league of its own. Go to Go Fish, you will not regret your decision. read more
