    Thai Curry with Salmon
    Jeff G.

This was one of several trips here and the previous trips resulted in various ok experiences but this one was the best! The menu changed and perhaps so did the chef? We feel like we go places and then wonder why don't the cooks use salt? All the dishes tonight were seasoned very nicely! The Thai curry had a nice mild heat and was delicious. The hot honey mac and cheese with chicken had a much hotter heat but awesome too. The beer selection continues to be excellent and they also have pretty nice wine and cocktail selection. Some notable items: Tuesday night is dollar off IPA night, woohoo! They have small and large portion options in a few menu items, like this lots, yes I do. We sat at the bar which had plenty of large screen tvs with sports on. No politics, thank goodness!! The service was great and all the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. I must admit the place was pretty empty, did that improve service and food quality? ‍ Parking can be tight when it's crowded, not a problem on a Tuesday! If you haven't been for a bit and had just an OK experience I would recommend giving it another try. Maybe on a Tuesday?

Flat squishy and subpar crab cake (I am a snob about crab cakes to be fair).

**edited please read full commentary** This place has a beautiful ambiance, the food was unique... but none of it hit hard for me. The crab cake in particular fell incredibly flat (pun intended) in particular. We had the beer cheese pretzels for an appetizer which was good but not knock my socks off, my son had the smash burger and he said it was ok, the fries were great though. I had the crab cake and the sweet potato fries. I was happiest with the fries honestly, which doesn't say much. The bartender who served us was kind and helpful and the drink I ordered (a sangria style drink) was good but at $12 felt way overpriced. I probably wouldn't eat there again. *edit* Daniel (Chef and co-owner) has reached out to me to offer a refund on the crabcake and suggested my review appears dishonest because "'no where on the menu is there a single crabcake with fries on the side" and that they accommodated my request only to have me complain. I have declined his generous offer for a refund and will clarify my review here: My flat crabcake "order" was derived from a conversation with my server based on my desire to try as much of the menu possible and knowing I have a small appetite. I knew if I ordered the crabcakes on a standard order, much food would be wasted. Since there was no single crabcake option on the menu, I asked if we could be creative and strip the brioche crabcake sandwich, so I could try their "top selling" crabcakes without paying for a full order (if memory serves an order was $38-39? Vs $17 for the sandwich option... I've slept since we ate here so these numbers could be wrong but we're talking a significant difference in price) and I don't like wasting food (or money), since we are always traveling taking food home is not an option so that's how my "dishonest" review began. To their credit, they did modify their regular menu option which allowed me to try the crab cake as a stand alone, which I appreciate. When the crab cake arrived flat, I asked the server if all their crab cakes were flat/the same. She told me they were all like this. I was surprised because the shape was extremely unique. I could have completely understood how this particular one would be flat to accommodate the sandwich, but don't understand them all being this shape. When she told me they were all exactly like this, I decided it was important to share with my followers/those reading reviews because it was shocking and definitely not expected. I know reviews are important to this industry as they are to most businesses. While I appreciate Daniel's willingness to refund me and explain the reason for the shape/preparation, I feel it is important to keep my review as it was based on the experience we had that evening and the long discussion I had with our server. I eat at lots of different restaurants across the country and am a major foodie, so while I understand that my taste buds might be a bit overdeveloped in this particular instance (I'm admittedly a crabcake snob), the crabcakes were "sold" to me as one of their top sellers and I was not a fan of them. This may have been a once in a blue moon experience for them, but it is my honest review based on our experience. He did explain that the crab cakes are pan seared and broiled finished (which is my preferred method for preparing crab cakes) in order to preserve the most crab flavor. I appreciate them making the effort to make the best product/flavors but based on the crab cake I ate that evening and the rest of the meal, I will not change my review. Even now, looking back on the meal my son and I both remember the disappointment from both meals. I hope this clarifies that I was not disgruntled in any way, I do not review with malicious intent in anyway, however we were truly disappointed in the food after all the hype we had read and then walking into this cool place, especially after driving for 10+ hours that day and being truly hungry for a good meal. I do love that the owners are interested in making it right. I'm sure if we were local we would be able to allow them the chance to prove this review to be an exception. If we are ever in the area again we will give them a chance and will update from there. TLDR not terrible, great atmosphere, eh food, pricey, responsive owners (even if it was after the fact).

We really enjoyed our meals . We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. Our beer was their own 2700 ipa. My husband had the hot honey wings and Mack and cheese for a meal, and I ordered the Caesar salad. Our server was friendly and very efficient! Will definitely go back.

Great Experience! I believe this was their Grand Opening weekend. We had a party of 5. Called ahead (at about 3pm) to see if we could get a reservation for 6pm. As we thought, that was too short a time to actually believe we could get a table so we took the 8pm reservation. Totally understandable. So they suggested that we come earlier and have some drinks at the bar. Sure. A few of us are 'craft beer guys'. We did just that and had some really nice brews. Great selection, plus prompt and friendly bartenders. Our table was ready at 8pm, however I did have to ask if it was ready, instead of them telling us it was ready. No big deal. Food was quite delicious! Apps: Spinach Dip = Delicious!!! Loaded Pub Pretzel = seemed like the pretzel was made in house. Very soft texture. Seemed fresh. Chicken Wings (Cajun) = Not 'hot' Cajun. Very mild Cajun seasoning. Entrees: Shrimp and Grits = Terrific. Shrimp were PERFECT! Smash That Burger = DELICIOUS ....& messy. Hot Damn Chicken (friend had this I didn't taste it. Filet Mignon (Au Gratin Potatoes) (also a friend's dish but I did eat the mushrooms he didn't want and the flavor of the sauce was great.) However, he ordered the steak mid rare and came out medium/medium well. Overdone. Alyssa our server was very nice, friendly and present. Thank you, Alyssa. Atmosphere = Bright and buzzing! Why didn't I give Craft 2700 five stars? Just because it took about 40 minutes or so to get our appetizers. Had we not been loud chatterboxes and passed the time talking (and drinking) we certainly would've been upset and had we been just a table of two, just me and my wife and we sat there for that long, that would've been a real downer. But as it stands, I didn't really notice it. By the time I did notice it had been a while, the food was coming out of the kitchen. And the food was indeed worth the wait. I'm hoping that the kitchen gets faster/more efficient when they're busy. Overall 4Stars. Very much recommend coming here. We'll be back, for sure!

We came to the soft opening to give the opening of this place a try. I know everyone is still learning and trying to perfect things. I do think this place could do exceptionally well if they make some changes. Right now I would say that this place is a 3.5/5. The place itself is beautifully done with the exposed brick. It's laid out well and there is also an outdoor space, which will be great in the summer. Our server was extremely nice, but you could tell she was overwhelmed. She was not overly familiar with food and struggled with drinks (she did mention she's not or drinking age). She struggled to keep up with refills and checking on us when things arrived. My husband and I both ordered drinks from the bar, which took exceedingly long. I was rather surprised given they had several bartenders on. The beer was cold and I enjoyed the fact they were offered in different sizes. My husband liked his mixed drink but felt bad asking the server was kind of bourbon they had. Our kids meals came out and the fries were not warm. We ordered the Buffalo blue wings and they were good. They were cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. The mozza lunas were huge, but came out lukewarm. We also ordered the seafood medley, which I feel like could be presented better. The mussels were small. My husband ordered the beef sandwich and said it wasn't bad but the fries again were cold. I ordered the Nashville hot sandwich and I found it to lack spice. The chicken is not proportional to the roll and lacked the chipotle aioli. The sandwich could have used some homemade slaw as the avocado isn't something that pairs with this. My sweet potato fries were cold, over fried and I prefer the actual fry. I think servers will get better in time with menu and food. The food is okay but could use some more flavor and it should be coming out hot. I believe a manager stopped by to grab plates but never asked how anything was. I think the place could have been staffed better to achieve effectiveness. There should be a food runner and even a busser, especially if servers are given too many tables. It could cut down on lack of service and chaos. I will definitely be back in a few months to see the improvements.

Nice renovation from Freymoyers to 2700 Nice craft beer selection Somewhat expensive for bar food Do not get the bar beef for $16 it amounted to nothing more than a small amount of dried out beef reheated on a small toasted kieser roll Recommend Coventry Pub in Pottstown for a real bar beef sandwich photo included here

Ambiance is lovely--great decor, comfortable seating, a gorgeous bar, and live music. Fun cocktails and a solid wine list (though the "by the glass" options are a bit limited). Ultimately, though, I think the ambiance and service are doing the heaviest lifting here--it's a bit of a "vibe dining" spot. The food is definitely good, don't get me wrong...but it's not "wow," which was a little disappointing given that you're gonna be spending $$$$. (Most entrees are $30+ and they're pretty standard fare that's not especially inventive--steaks, a few pastas, obligatory short rib dish, elevated burgers, salmon.) We liked everything just fine but I didn't taste a dish that made me go "oh man, I gotta come back for that." Instead I'm thinking "maybe I should try something else next time I'm in." I do like that your entree comes with a salad. The physical menu itself could also use some work, as its quality doesn't match the care and luxury atmosphere of the place overall. Numerous misspellings and a lack of specificity on ingredients in several of the dishes that leave the diner unclear on what, exactly, they're getting. For example, there's an entree that's described simply as "grilled chicken breast served with rosemary potato wedges and grilled zucchini." Are there spices or sauces on that chicken? Are we talking just plain salt/pep? Herbs? What? Anyway, it's fine. It's a solid date night option. We'll be back.

It reminded me of a restaurant that should be in Rittenhouse Square or the like. The menu was extensive and high-end. It would've been nice if they had offered bread at the start though which they didn't. We had the tuna tartare appetizer. It was delicious and very filling. My boyfriend got the lobster mac and cheese, which was absolutely delicious. However, there wasn't much lobster. The side salads were good. I ordered lamb which I should have asked questions because I was expecting a rack of lamb and what I got was a stewed hunk of lamb on a bone next to a mushy pile of polenta covered in what looks like marinara sauce I wanted to give a four star review for this because that's not something I would've enjoyed eating and I sent it back however somebody else might've liked it very much. In fact, I think the people sitting across from us ate every last scrap of that same dish off their plate, however, I wouldn't have liked it at all. I wish I had ordered one of their steak options, which sounded delicious. I shared some of the lobster mac & cheese, and ate a lot of the appetizer so I didn't end up ordering another entrée. We would definitely go back. I just have to read them many more carefully and ask questions.
