Had a work dinner here with a large group. The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The fillet mignon was tender and very flavorful. Really nice place

I like dimly lit restaurants, but I would saynl it was almost too dark inside. With that being said, I apologize for my dark photos, I didn't want to light up the room with a flash. My kansas city ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare with a purple center. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with green beans and Yukon gold smashed potatoes. Usually at this type of restaurant everything is a la carte. I will almost never complain about too much bacon, but my Brussel sprout hash had more bacon than Brussel sprouts. I didn't get a picture of the cheesecake because it vanished once it hit the plate. Absolutely deliciously and was finished with a torch on top. The service was excellent as I would expect at this type of establishment, but always appreciated.

This place is good but not great. Let me start with the great things: the appetizer, the soccer dishes, the desert, and the service. I love the Filet Crostini; it's underordered and underestimated. The other items are ordered much more frequently because they are safe such as calamari and Charcuterie Board but I think the gorgonzola sauce makes this dish. The side dishes such as baked potatoes (looks kind of like mashed) and asparagus are seasoned to perfection. I also love the arugula salad; it has a lovely citrus balance to it. The Mac and cheese I think is a must with whatever your getting. The texture and taste again balanced out the streak For dessert, the peanut butter chocolate indulgence is a good choice. Very sweet though so unless you love that sugar, share with someone. Shout out to my service Alli who was phenomenal at attending and explaining everything. She really knew her stuff and tended to all our needs before we even needed to ask So for the "ok" part. The soup we got (French onion) way way way too salty. I am fan of seasoning but holy... After 2 spoonfuls it was inedible. Now, the surprising "ok" factor for me was the steak itself. I get med rare (always and forever). The steak came out parts borderline raw. I did have it sent back which only made it slightly better. I understand that a big steak is hard to cook and the middle ain't going to be perfect but holy.... I hope they were using a temperature gauge at least cause it was for sure rare/blue rare level initially. I would have preferred everything else to be ok and the steak great cause you know ... It's a steak house. The experience is good; ambiance is good. Food was ok.

Our waitress was fantastic. Warm inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed my duck and my friends filet mignon excellent. Appetizer lamb chops tasty. Spinach side had no taste and sent back.

Finding your way upstairs adds to the speakeasy-style charm. The reception area alone sets the vibe: playful, stylish, and full of photo-worthy moments before you even sit down. It feels like you've discovered something not everyone knows about. We went with the small plate prix fixe menu (three courses), and each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and -- most importantly -- delicious. Every course left us wanting just a little more, which is exactly how a tasting-style experience should feel. Nothing felt rushed, and the pacing of the food was on point. Cocktails were also excellent, creative, well-balanced, and fitting for the ambiance. The only hiccup of the night was drink service being a bit slow. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but noticeable. Overall, a great Restaurant Week experience in a space that feels both intimate and fun. I'll absolutely be back to explore the full menu soon.

You must not miss out on the liver pate with the bread as a sharing dish. We brought our own wine as I like to control that aspect when I can and going to an unfamiliar restaurant. They charge a $40 corkage fee, which many think is expensive, but that is the going rate when fine dining.

Ambiance is lovely--great decor, comfortable seating, a gorgeous bar, and live music. Fun cocktails and a solid wine list (though the "by the glass" options are a bit limited). Ultimately, though, I think the ambiance and service are doing the heaviest lifting here--it's a bit of a "vibe dining" spot. The food is definitely good, don't get me wrong...but it's not "wow," which was a little disappointing given that you're gonna be spending $$$$. (Most entrees are $30+ and they're pretty standard fare that's not especially inventive--steaks, a few pastas, obligatory short rib dish, elevated burgers, salmon.) We liked everything just fine but I didn't taste a dish that made me go "oh man, I gotta come back for that." Instead I'm thinking "maybe I should try something else next time I'm in." I do like that your entree comes with a salad. The physical menu itself could also use some work, as its quality doesn't match the care and luxury atmosphere of the place overall. Numerous misspellings and a lack of specificity on ingredients in several of the dishes that leave the diner unclear on what, exactly, they're getting. For example, there's an entree that's described simply as "grilled chicken breast served with rosemary potato wedges and grilled zucchini." Are there spices or sauces on that chicken? Are we talking just plain salt/pep? Herbs? What? Anyway, it's fine. It's a solid date night option. We'll be back.

Very admirable and apparently they do this often to support other causes, as well. We were happy to dine at a restaurant that cares about the local community. That's what got me (& my wife) in the door. Now, for the brass tacks: Atmosphere: Very nice looking place. Clean. Lively. Loved the front window open on a warm day and the outdoor seating as we walked in. Service: Hostess and Server were both very friendly, attentive and helpful. Both checked in on us, often. Which, for us, is super important not to feel forgotten. No problem here. Food: Uncorkd Burger (sub grilled chicken), Vegetable Risotto w/Salmon, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Homemade Vanilla Bread Pudding Cake & Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. My wife said, convincingly, that the Grilled Chicken Burger was good. (and that's saying something. (She's super picky about chicken sandwiches) My Vegetable Salmon Risotto was terrific. Fresh, bright, creamy, & flavorful. The salmon may have been cooked slightly over, but only slightly. Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were very good. Not made in-house. The desserts were delicious. Bread pudding with Caramel Drizzle! Oh my! Light & Delicious. Stick Toffee Pudding Cake with a decadent dark chocolate sauce. Delightful. We took those desserts to go and had them at home. Delicious. While visiting from California, we met friends here as halfway point, not knowing what we were walking into so completely bias and giving this place a full chance. It's beautiful inside and out; so why is it so dead? The service was more than subpar. The place was really empty inside, but it took about 10-15 minutes for all of us to get our cocktails and they all came out at different times, so none of us had them together. What's more, due to food allergies and sensitivities, I requested my salad with dressing on the side, with shrimp; because I'm allergic to chicken. My salad came out smothered in dressing, with no protein. The server returned to our table and apologized for the missing protein, taking the salads back to the kitchen and returning with mine topped with chicken... 2 of our meals were completely wrong. At the end of the meal, two salads and and a couple glasses of wine were $93... I have to give them 3 stars. It was just alright at the end of the day.

We found Brewer's on Yelp and and were very happy with our visit. Brewer's had a local feel to do it and a lively atmosphere for a Thursday night. The food menu has a large selection of different types of food so almost anyone can find something to eat. Great selection of beer with a lot of regional offerings. Also seem to run a special for different types of alcohol for most nights of the week ($6 large draft IPA beer on Thursday night). I ordered the brisket meatloaf sandwich that came with BBQ sauce and gouda cheese on top. The sandwich was very tasty and I especially enjoyed the pretzel roll it was served on. I liked that I was able to substitute a side of perogies instead of chips. The moon ranch grilled chicken sandwich was a little underwhelming and the moon sauce was the only positive to that sandwich. The service was good and our server checked back in with us multiple times during our visit. There's also a beer outlet with a large selection of craft beer attached to the restaurant so you can take local craft beer home with you. They call themselves a small place with the BIG selection!
