We had a dinner reservation at the Bridge Inn and it's good that we did. The place was full. We parked across the street in the overflow lot. The crowd was older. The place was dated, packed with tables in every room and a little too stuffy in the summer heat. Our party was immediately seated, but the beautifully folded napkins were quickly pushed aside as we grabbed wet wipes to remove a sticky residue from one of our chairs. Multiple drink menus offered beer, wine, cocktails, martinis and specials. The Dubai chocolate martini was the favorite - chocolatey smooth and creamy, topped with crushed pistachios. We dined on shrimp puttanesca , salmon with pesto, shrimp Alfredo and eggplant Neapolitan, each served with pasta, a side/salad and dinner rolls. Portions were large and all the items were well prepared and delicious! Although the online menu needs to be updated, the prices are still reasonable. Our party of four enjoyed dinner and drinks for about $150. It's worth visiting, but if you're going on the weekend, be sure to make a reservation. read more

We have not been here for years---and much has changed. The interior is remodeled very tastefully and menu has been raised to a higher level. I had the Steak Gorgonzola with a "restrained" amount of sauce and it was excellent. My wife had Salmon and had the same opinon of the quality of her dish. The service was excellent. We crossed over into The Bridge Inn and were pleasantly surprised! Mom's birthday brought the family together for an early dinner. A Saturday at 6pm, party of 5 arrived. A fall chill was in the air, however the heat was ablazing at the Inn. Downgrade for atmosphere in the temperature. Like we wished we were all dressed for summer. Really unappealing in how hot it was. Especially in that we were seated for awhile with a larger party. However, all the sweat was worth the food. The food was great. Really solid. We over ordered but had the chance to enjoy a vary of menu. Our experience in the extensive cocktail menu was nice. Top tier martini selection. We've enjoyed before at The Martini Bar upstairs and at dinner now, as well. Onto the food- Slower paced, but we needed the spacing with our courses. Appetizers included the Baked Brie in Puffed Pastry, the Escargot and Crab & Artichoke Dip. All devoured. All large portions. The brie was creamy and flaky, almost did not need all the bread accompanying. The escargot should have been renamed as mushroom toast. No overt snail, but the mushrooms were gorgeous!! Multi species, woodsy, buttery. The crab dip was creamy, with noticeable dollops of both crab and artichoke. Discernible and delightful. And chips- flash fried fresh. Entrees ordered took a bit to arrive. But as said, we needed the time to digest. Entrees around were the Burger, Steak Diane, Veal Oscar, Crab Cake, and Scallops Provençal. The restaurant was very accommodating with my mother's picky nature. She modified the single crab cake with a baked potato sub and applesauce. Just enough for her to be happy. On entrees will start with the Goods- The Burger tasted fine, no flair and crisp chips. The Steak Diane was juciy, lots of herby mushroom and beautiful roasted potatoes. French Onion Soup- brothy, cheesy, but a bit too much sherry. The Betters- Crab Cake and Baked Potatoes. The crab cake was pure, not much filler and kept structure. Each potato was baked well, skin smokey in a sliceable potato bite. The Best- Hello Oscar! We were so impressed with the tender, white, huge lumps of crab in the veal sauce. Extraordinary in offering. Then Scallops!!!!! My dish. Wow. Just wow. Put me into the category of scallop snob. I make them at home regularly and can tell when the cook is complete just by the smell. These came out & smelled and looked perfect. Sunk that fork in. Ahhhhh. No resistance. Seared beautiful outside and perfect pillow inside. Divine. One of the best scallop dishes. I WILL eat this again! Standout star of the menu. One creme brûlée finished the meal as the birthday dessert. Caramel sugar crisp, but a bit unstructured, a little too runny. We will be back to The Bridge Inn.... .....But maybe next time we'll dress in layers. Well done. read more

We had passed this restaurant at least a hundred times visiting our eldest daughter but never stopped. We had our entire family here last weekend. We first were shocked to be given a menu that did not correspond with the menu online which was very shocking as we all new what we wanted a head of time. The food was ok but very overpriced. We tried the bridge inn for the first time Saturday 8-23-25 @ 6:30. I must say we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was!!!! For appetizers We had the baked Brie, coconut shrimp, and escargot, which were delicious. The coconut shrimp were also delicious but not stand out like the escargot. The baked Brie was wonderfully decant the toasted bread served with it didn't make sense to me since the Brie was in pastry, anyway, the grapes and strawberries served with were very nice. We had steaks from the featured menu and the peach chicken, all three entrees were perfect!!! My potatoes au gratin were sublime! The service was excellent and our server was friendly fun and fantastic! We will absolutely be going back! Is the management reads this, great work! I do recommend changing the fragrance used in the entry way, it's not pleasant, reminded my pop and I of a urinal cake. lol to everyone else, don't you dare let my one criticism dissuade you from the great restaurant!!!!!! My husband and I had dinner here tonight for the first time, but it won't be our last. The food was absolutely delicious and the service excellent. Our server Shelby was sweet and friendly and efficient. We enjoyed cocktails and a calimari appetizer. My husband's steak was a perfectly done medium rate and my scallops were tender and sweet. This was a disappointing experience. I called to make a reservation and asked about their social distancing policy; the employee laughed at me before saying the tables were spaced 6 feet apart. We are one year into the pandemic, thousands are dead; it's a legitimate question and deserves to be respected. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was packed. Our server was lovely and did wear her mask properly which was appreciated. But the food was lackluster and overpriced. My flatbread was stuffed to the brim which made it soggy. The only redeeming thing was the habanero mango martini. I wanted more for this restaurant but I was not impressed. He also made sure to call my mom back the day of her reservation to make she she knew she only had an hour and a half at a table. The term "hidden little gem" describes this place so well! The Bridge Inn is a fantastic martini bar and restaurant. The food and drink prices are extremely reasonable. The martinis are also fantastic; enough alcohol where you can taste it but not so much where you don't get flavor. The service was friendly and helpful. Not too many places serve prime rib around here and when I saw it on their featured menu I had to try it, The reviews also helped make my decision. The place is like a large neighborhood restaurant. It is a little outdated and has a lot of seating with tables and a few booths. I ordered the 14 ounce prime rib $35.00 and asked for it medium rate.. Unfortunately it came out medium, I told the waitress and she agreed with me, so I sent it bask. To my dismay the second one was the same way. She took it back, and came out a few minutes later, and said the chef would not do another one because they did not have any medium rare. She asked me if wanted any thing else, and I said no because by that time my husband was finished eating. What a disappointment. They should let the servers know if they do not have an item, especially since it was on their featured menu. My husband ordered the crab cakes $34.00 and he said they were very good. They did credit my meal. Service was okay and they were very busy. Parking is limited,. I would have given this a better rating if it wasn't for the prime rib. I've had dinner at this place before it was really good. Tonight I sat at the bar... there was only one bartender and she was busier than a one armed paper hanger. She made a good drink, but She was too busy to give anyone adequate attention. Food was average to below average food... crab-cheese pretzel and coconut shrimp. Both tasted like they came out of a box and were put under the warmer. I give this place two stars, and as generous. I blame the management. They needed two bartenders to handle this crowd. Relatively new to the area, we've been looking for a nice restaurant for special events. Upon a recommendation, my wife and I visited The Bridge Inn for our 49th anniversary and had a wonderful time! The setting is comfortable, not stuffy, and the service was excellent. My wife had the blackened ribeye for $35, not inexpensive but an excellent cut of meat superbly prepared. I love this place but don't go on a holiday. I stop in here probably 5 or 6 times a month and it's always awesome! The menu is great, the food is great, the servers are great......BUT......every time I've been here on a holiday it's a shit show. They've dropped my reservation on more than one occasion, the wait times are beyond ridiculous and you place an order only to find out 15 minutes later they are out of what you ordered. This last time I went late, with a reservation. 10 minutes after placing our orders we were told our wait time would be an hour and 20 minutes because the kitchen "was behind".
