I've had a lot of bad restaurant experiences, but this one takes the cake for sheer absurdity. We've been coming here for years to celebrate a family member's birthday. This visit ends that tradition. I ordered a veggie grinder. No tomato, no mayo -- that's it, that was the entire modification. My server, who I want to be very clear was fantastic, confirmed she understood exactly what I wanted since she's vegetarian herself and orders the same thing. What arrived was a bun with cheese, pickles, and peppers. Not a "vegetables" sandwich by any definition. When I pointed out this wasn't even close to what I ordered, my server went back to have it corrected -- a completely reasonable ask for a mistake that was 100% on the kitchen. She came back looking rattled and told me the kitchen had yelled at her and refused to remake it, and that I should just pick something else instead. Let that sink in: the kitchen botched an incredibly basic order, got asked to fix their own mistake, and responded by berating their own server and stonewalling the customer rather than just doing their job. This isn't a case of a complicated substitution or a busy kitchen slammed during a rush. It's putting vegetables on a sandwich. The fact that the staff back there couldn't manage that -- and then had the nerve to act put-upon when asked to correct it -- tells you everything about how that kitchen is run. Whoever is managing that line needs serious retraining, because right now they're making their front-of-house staff absorb the fallout for their own incompetence. The server deserves a raise for keeping her composure under pressure. The kitchen deserves to have their heads examined. After years of celebrating birthdays here, we won't be back -- and I'd think twice before ordering anything that requires the kitchen to follow basic instructions. read more

What Happened????!! Oh Iezzi's.....we have loved our relationship together, but the local adoration has dissolved. We have been to Iezzi's many times as a neighborhood watering hole and quick bite. Once the outside was created we loved going, but over the past few seasons and especially our last stint, it's gotten worse and worse. Food and service was terrible, on our likely last go round a few months ago. Decided to eat inside for an early bite, I think on a weekday. The bartender mostly sat on her phone and didn't connect with patrons. The food was awful. Took forever and not worth any wait. The pizza was an inedible mess- I refused. My husband's sandwich was capable but he had to finish my Zep, as I also couldn't get through it. Odd tastes, dry bread. How sad! Iezzi's we are sad for you. We will miss you. read more

They had this place decorated pretty amazingly outside for Halloween. Very cute. However, it's just a basic menu with basic bar food. I ordered the fish and chips and they were not good. The cheese steak sandwich was good but a little bit small the french fries were good. we didn't go on the inside. It just looked kind of crowded in there more of the local bar crowd there. read more

Service sucks all the way around. The place was only half full and ordered pretzels as an appetizer. 30 minutes later they arrived. Getting drink refills was a joke. I'm so happy that Iezzie's is able to operate despite the strict guidelines in place for COVID. They have an amazing outdoor patio that is complete with a bar, outdoor heaters, bathrooms and great service! Their food is on point, as always and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I ordered the sweet and spicy burger which was like a roller coaster of flavors, the initial bites were sweet with a spicy finish. All sandwiches are available to be ordered as wraps and available for takeout. My fiancé had a Tuscan chicken wrap packed with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. It's like bruschetta meets chicken in a warm, cheesy wrap! I'd also highly recommend the chips because they are hand made here and cooked and seasoned perfectly! After that we received our burgers and "home made chips"- my wife's burger didn't have the special Iezzi's sauce, the chips were stale and gross. Had a fantastic time at Iezzi's! The fish tacos were amazing. I wanted to show my family around Boyertown and we chose Iezzi's as our lunch stop. I absolutely recommend it. They have a very nice and trendy outdoor space that is screened in during the winter time with outdoor heaters and a nice bar with TVs. The food and drinks were top notch. I was pleasantly surprised about this neighborhood place, since it doesn't look like much from the outside. Apparently they recently remodeled. The food we ordered (salmon, short ribs, and garlic rosemary fries) was all really great and very reasonably priced. The chef came out and talked to us about the food, and he was very proud of and excited about his work. We sat at the bar, which was pretty packed and noisy, but we realized after the fact that there is a small dining area in the back. It can take a little while to get a bartender's attention, and cocktails/wines are pretty limited for those who can't drink beer, but we'll definitely be back! This is my new favorite bar. It's a bit small but I generally like that. The food is consistently great as is the service. I was only here maybe twice before Steve knew my drink order, it's refreshing to know that they do pay attention to you and care about making sure you have a good time. Trivia nights with Tim were the best, I was here faithfully every Thursday until the pandemic hit. Last time we came, we tried the patio for the first time. Loved it.
