    Wings

Very friendly joint, coming in from out of town and not being a local. This is very much a townie bar. Good service and great atmosphere. Wings were very good and crisp. The rustic pizza was certainly different and was enjoyable. The Stromboli was a let down. Packed with meat filling and cheese, but no sauce inside. This left the Stromboli very dry.

Best wings around! Cool small town environment you'd expect in Boyertown with a nice menu and some of the better wings I've had anywhere.

Here's an idea.....have only one person to handle front of house, bartend and wait/bus tables. Don't open for food service, just sell drinks whatever just don't offer subpar service.... food is mediocre too.

I'm so happy that Iezzie's is able to operate despite the strict guidelines in place for COVID. They have an amazing outdoor patio that is complete with a bar, outdoor heaters, bathrooms and great service! Their food is on point, as always and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I ordered the sweet and spicy burger which was like a roller coaster of flavors, the initial bites were sweet with a spicy finish. All sandwiches are available to be ordered as wraps and available for takeout. My fiancé had a Tuscan chicken wrap packed with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. It's like bruschetta meets chicken in a warm, cheesy wrap! I'd also highly recommend the chips because they are hand made here and cooked and seasoned perfectly! Stop in at Iezzie's and support local businesses because they need it most. You will NOT be disappointed!

Good food, friendly place. "Cheers like". Can be crowded but that's not as big an issue as it's a fun atmosphere.

So many flavors to choose from. I got the sweet and spicy Thai flavor and it was worth it. The bartender was also our server since we sat at the bar. These wings are sensational, and an elevated bleu cheese would have taken them to new heights! The cook on the wings was exquisite! New place for us now for great wings! Great craft beer selection, if that's your thing. I was happy to find Garage Beer Lime ‍ on tap. The staff was sensational. I am already looking forward to my next trip, but Im gonna bring my own bleu cheese. #rushieeats

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The salad bar is classic: Caesar salad, iceberg, blue cheese, bacon bits, etc. Meet family here for a fancy night out, and it was a blast. Service was good. Portions are generous, so be prepared for leftovers. We had steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. Big steaks, big baked potatoes, unlimited salad. Come hungry. Good to know: It is a splurge. Also, they won't stay you until the entire party is there. We waited at the bar for everyone to arrive, where one cocktail was more than enough for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and you should not drive afterward. (I did not.)

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet on Yelp…read more Let me proceed... I hate to give out 5 stars but I thought long and hard and I really couldn't think of anything negative to say. I probably stop here more often that any other bar/tavern in the area. Ty, the owner, is a good guy from what I can tell. He is a hands-on owner which is what you need to be in order to survive in this business. He is active in the community and supports local businesses. If you treat him right, he will treat you right. And the same goes for his staff. If you're there for a good time and aren't looking for trouble, they are nothing but friendly. But if you go there looking for trouble...and act up or start a fight, you will get tossed out. Hey, its a biker bar. A REAL biker bar. If you want to rub shoulders with some authentic bikers, this is the place to go. But its not all bikers. People from all walks of life come here for a good time. I've never had a problem with any patron here...whether its in the morning, afternoon, evening, or late night. They are open 7:00 am to 2:00 am Monday thru Saturday and 9:00 am to 2:00 am Sundays. That's my kind of hours for a bar! Did I mention the bartenders? They're good people. No attitude. They're attentive and quick to serve you. They are also in charge of cooking so if they disappear for a minute, you know where they are! The food is good. Of course its not The French Laundry but I never had a bad meal here. Don't expect anything fancy...after all it is a dive bar. So expect good wings, burgers, sandwiches, and bar pizza. I particularly like their chicken fingers and their pizza...oh, and their breaded chicken sandwhiches. Not sure why but my wife and I are really into their breaded chicken sandwhiches. They have some great wings too. Boatyard has a full bar. Not sure if they have wine because I have never seen anyone order/drink it here. They have 6 beers on tap. From what I can tell, they have 5 permanent beers and one rotating draft. The rotating draft is always a Red Castle brew, which is the local microbrewery. Last time I was there they had Red Castle queen guard which is an American pale ale. I have had it a few times and it is a good representation of an American style pale ale. The permanent beers on draft are as follows as of 8/2/14: Miller Lite Yuengling Lager Yuengling Lager Lite Budweiser Coors Light They have the standard beers in bottles. Nothing exotic, just the expected big beer companies. I give the Boatyard 5 stars because they deliver what you expect from a divey/biker bar and they are open when they promise to be which can't be said of all establishments. They never open late and never close early. They will almost always make you food pretty late at night and the beer is cold. Hey, what more do you want! Bike night is next week and this place will be packed. They manage to keep it under control and it's the place to be for bike night. If you're in the area, stop in. Good times!
