    Grilled Cheese Short Rib sandwich
    Mj C.

Waitress was Great, even though she was extremely busy she attended for our needs and answered all questions with a smile. Grilled cheese short rib sandwich was Great. The Pork Schnitzel sandwich was good. The calamari was not good. The potato chips were home made and very good. The fries you have to pay extra for in place of the homemade chips. The fries were hand cut fries. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms.

    Pork schnitzel sandwich

I had been looking forward to trying this place particularly for the pork schnitzel. The beer selection was poor in my opinion but I only drink IPAs. We started with wings which were really fatty and the medium sauce didn't have any heat to it. I would not order them again and they have other appetizers that sounded very good. For entrees, I ordered a spinach salad and my boyfriend had the pork schnitzel sandwich. The salad was just fine and the sandwich was awesome! I had a few bites since it was what I had intended to order. It came on a pretzel roll and had 2 big pieces of schnitzel on it. The sauerkraut and mustard added a great touch. Between the two of us we couldn't even finish it. I'd recommend checking it out but don't expect to be blown away by the beer selection.

We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

The Devil Made Us Do It!…read more Popped into Devil's Acre for lunch today, located right along Easton Rd in Doylestown. The place has a good-sized dining area with booths, high tops, and bar seating. The staff was warm, welcoming, and impressively patient with my million questions about the "daily specials." Devil's Acre rotates deli, dog, salad, tot, and soup options each day - definitely ask what kind of mischief the chef is up to before ordering. After some back-and-forth, I played it safe (?) with the Fried Chicken Sandwich while he went with the Beef on Weck. We started with the pretzel bites, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment - six small pieces with a lackluster dipping sauce. Wouldn't recommend. Unfortunately, the main event didn't redeem things. My chicken sandwich was underwhelming, small, and it could've used a good pounding to actually fit the bun. The beef had decent flavor but was begging for an au jus to take it to the next level. Both sandwiches came with chips, want fries instead? That's not just an up charge - it's a full side order, and you lose the chips in the process. All in, lunch set us back nearly $60 with tip, and we left feeling underfed in both flavor and value. Next time I hear the Devil whispering, I think I'll keep driving.

Owned and operated by Bavarian natives, the restaurant has been serving up authentic German/Bavarian food and culture since 1998! So this menu has a lot more than your typical German-American biergarten offerings. We went for a couple of their specialties - Sauerbraten (sour beef) and Goulash - which were both fantastic. My husband enjoyed a German beer (he always loves a German Hefeweizen), and I had Gluehwein (red wine served warming and steeped with warming spices). Everything tasted great, but it was also just a wonderful place to enjoy a meal: music (an accordionist played throughout our meal), children dancing to the music, classic German decor (including some Christmas touches), and great service! I'd be happy to return. In fact, I look forward to it!

I was literally transported back 50 years to my childhood in my grandma's kitchen by world class German food. I had the Jägerschnitzel with Spätzle, my wife had the Hungarian Goulash and our son had the Schnitzel. I ordered an extra side of the red cabbage salad. I must admit I was a little concerned at how fast our food was prepared and thought they might be using some frozen ingredients, but I was dead wrong. The cutlets were perfectly breaded and prepared so well I didn't need my knife to cut it. The wine mushroom gravy was so filled with buttery goodness that I decided to save some for later by dropping it on my shirt as I tried unsuccessfully to control how fast I ate it. The red cabbage salad was great, the potato salad was insanely great. The portions were perfect- just enough for a big guy like me to feel full and not so much that I felt a need to confess my sins. Despite being full we felt obligated to try the apple strudel. To say it was authentic and amazing is an understatement. Overall we fed a family of three for about $19 per person including drinks. Even though we live 1.5 hrs away, I guarantee you we will be back again and again. My one complaint- this place made me miss my grandmother and her cooking after 50 yrs without her. Thank you for keeping authentic and amazing German cuisine alive, the memory of your mother is honored through your efforts.
