We were actually hesitant to try it at first because it's attached to the Limerick Diner, which we've never really been fans of. Fortunately, aside from sharing the same building, they're two completely separate restaurants with their own menus and atmosphere. Every meal we've had has been excellent. Between our visits, we've tried the burgers, pizza, mac and cheese, cheesesteak egg rolls mozzarella sticks, and tacos, and everything has been consistently delicious. It's always hard deciding what to order because we've enjoyed everything we've tried. Also a bonus that they offer a gluten free pizza crust for my wife. Portion sizes are generous and we certainly don't walk out hungry (and most times with a to-go box)! The service deserves just as much praise as the food. Every server we've had has been friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. One small thing I really appreciate is that they serve drinks in large glasses, so you're not constantly waiting on or asking for refills. They also do a great job with events and specials. We've attended their Bingo night twice now, and it's a lot of fun. If you're planning to go, I'd recommend arriving early because it's a popular event. Tables in the main dining area, where the bingo takes place, fill up quickly. Great food, consistently excellent service, and fun events keep us coming back. If you haven't given The Flying Pig a try yet, don't let its connection to the diner fool you--it's definitely worth a visit.

Service was friendly. It was a bit crowded but they were still very attentive and communicative on wait times which was appreciated! It was super cold inside because the door kept opening and it was windy 30 degree weather so I would recommend dressing warm when it's cold out!

We arrived and were greeted immediately at the hostess stand, we were sat quickly and took in the scene. It's a very open space, decor didn't give cool, classy wine bar. Rather just a run of the mill restaurant. The bar area is large and there's a wine shop in the back. We were surprised at how many open tables there were for Saturday prime time dining. And with that how much the voices around us echoed. But all in all we were comfortable. Our server arrived. She was nice, however obviously novice. We ordered a round of drinks. No Bombay Sapphire for my martini so I sufficed on Bluecoat. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned (with I think a wine floater). We contemplated apps and entrees..... We tried. We hoped, we wished for the plates we chose- We kept getting denied. Initially requested the calamari. A few minutes later our server returns- No calamari salad. Let's try for the short rib cigars. Hung out for awhile more. No go. She returned with additional words of disappointment. Ok- She suggested the brussel sprouts and my husband ordered wings. Now we hit the third strike. She again returned with notice of another item they were without. While it was just sauce......we wish we were sauced enough to not be annoyed. No honey mustard. At that, we decided it was going to be an apps only dining experience. In review of those- the Brussels were roasted well. Charred but not to a crisp that killed the veg, the glaze on it was great, would've loved more blue cheese. My husband's wings (now in mild), tasted fine. Fairly small, but ok. We had a gentleman check in on us at the table and honestly gave our feedback. Our experience and this review would have improved if our waitress was trained to be proactive. Be forthright and open immediately on what offerings are not available. Instead we had the one, two, three of feeling like dumb customers in asking for things that weren't available. If service was better, we may have returned for a full meal, sadly we will not. This already is pop, pop...fizzled out.

While the avocado toast looked appealing, the bread wasn't actually toasted. Lastly, the portions are incredibly small; my burger came with less than a handful of fries.
