First time here. Of course I ordered a pint of Guinness beer & Bavarian pretzel stick with mustard & cheese as appetizer. For main, lobster bisque, mild hot wings & the crab cakes with rice. Happy St Patrick's Day! Met friends for lunch today. The place was packed but we loved the atmosphere....we waited but well worth the wait! Good food, bad service. Had the shrimp bowl which was flavorful and well prepared no issues. Dad had French onion soup and beef stroganoff both with flavor foam well prepared as well. Problem was the service or lack thereof . After we were seated and handed on menus by the hostess, it took 10 minutes for the waitress Makayla E to show up and introduce herself. Then after the main course was delivered, she never checked back with us to see if we're enjoying our food. Basically myself and my dad were pretty much ignored. Worse yet. We got to observe the middle-aged manager with a ponytail yell at two of these staff. One was our waitress, and the other was a young African-American gentleman. Instead of doing it in his office in private, he chose to do it in the bar where my dad and I could hear the whole conversation. Apparently the ponytailed manager was complaining that $34 was missing from the register and he wanted to know which one of them had been in the register. Totally unprofessional for a "manager "to have this conversation in earshots of the guest. The final straw. Not only did our waitress ignore us but The ponytail manager walked back-and-forth past our table multiple times without once saying hello or seeing if we are enjoying our meal. Overall, food was good. Service was horrible disrespectful to ignore your guest. Never going back. read more

Had a Christmas party here with fellow workers. There were 9 of us and the service was fantastic. The food came out hot and very tasty. I had the salmon and onion rings and a salad. The salmon was tender, the blue cheese dressing was wonderful and the onion rings crispy. The waiter was so nice, he kept checking back on us to make sure we were happy. The food and the out door patio were amazing! All of the food was delicious, the steak was so tender and cooked perfectly, the wings are crispy with some great sauce choices, and all the sides were amazing. However the waiter was not great at all, he thought him forgetting our order was funny (while he did not write it down and had to come back to us to ask) and proceeded to not bring us out half of the things we asked for. If it were of been a better, more professional server I would give 5 stars. read more

They have a very nice menu with some Irish Dishes as well as other favorites! Even the kiddies will be able to enjoy items on this menu. Ganly's offers an Array of on Tap Irish Beers as well as some USA brands a full bar menu is also available. Our meals today included Guinness Beef Dip Thinly sliced roast beef, sauteed onions and melted provolone cheese on a toasted hoagie roll, served with au jus Baked Chicken Juicy chicken breast smothered in a mushroom cream sauce served with your choice of two sides Beef Stroganoff Beef and egg noodles in a creamy Stroganoff sauce 1 Crab Cake Broiled lump crab cakes, served with lemon garlic aioli and your choice of two sides. Visited on 3/16, the day before St Patrick's Day. Despite being told it would be a 35minute wait, we were seated in less than 10. The restaurant was full but the wait staff remained on top of their game with prompt, professional, and courteous hospitality and attentiveness. They remained busy and ensured that we were well cared for throughout our time there. The food was served promptly and boasted fresh and delicious ingredients. The portions are more than generous! (You certainly won't leave hungry!) The house salad that comes with your meal is impressive with the variety of crisp fresh vegetables! Entrees arrived quickly and were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The entire establishment is clean and well kept. The bathrooms were also well maintained and stocked. This was our family's second visit and we were again pleasantly impressed by our entire experience. The Irish dancers which were visiting for the special holiday weekend were extremely talented, engaging, and entertaining. I would highly recommend visiting at any time of the year! Came here on a Friday night and it was super busy! I got the tempura shrimp with fries and a Cesar salad. We got the steamed mussels appetizer as well. Others in my group got the crab cake sandwich and a cheeseburger. The portions are huge and everything was so good! Had a really good meal today. The servers were all friendly and checked in a lot. I had questions about how to make certain parts of my meal gluten free and the server was very attentive! She assured me the kitchen even made the bacon in the oven to avoid cross contamination and offered me a side salad instead of the chips for my meal. Drinks were also very delicious! read more

The restaurant configuration is odd, with the dining area seemingly bifurcated by the entrance. The cocktails are strong, and I could tell that the bartenders knew what they were doing. At holiday time, the decorations added to the ambiance and made for a very inviting feel. Overall the food was solid, and the service was attentive and friendly. The parking lot sucks, however, and is completely insufficient to meet the needs of the patrons. I don't want to feel like I'm parking in a cornfield down the road. read more

I found Ganly's on a whim while traveling the back roads on our way to somewhere in Reading, PA and man am I happy I did! We stopped in for dinner and I immediately fell in love with the restaurant. As soon as you walk in it feels like an Irish pub (one of my favorite stops to make when it comes to food)! For dinner, I order the pumpkin pie martini. Creamy and flavorful - the perfect drink to enjoy in the fall. And for dinner, I ordered the Ganly's Rueben. It was packed with corned beef! I wish I could remember the name of the other cocktail I ordered . . . maybe a pomegranate smash? Despite not remembering the name, it was also delicious and I would order it again.
