Ugh, I've put off writing this review but it has to be done in order to warn others before trying out this restaurant. I have two words: not clean. Came here & was seated at a table that was sticky. I asked for extra napkins & water to clean it off since the waiter did not wipe it off after I pointed out how sticky it was. I didn't get a good vibe from this place upon sitting down & looking around but my kids wanted to stay so we did. We offered pho & I ordered the chicken teriyaki with white rice. When the food came out the waiter put the rice bowl down first then leaned in to place down the hot plate of chicken. When he leaned down his sweater leaned into the bowl. It was gross. I showed him what happened & he just brushed off the rice from his sweater & kept going. Not once did he offer to replace the rice. I didn't bother asking for a replacement cause I just assume I'd get the same thing right back. I just pushed it to the side & tried to enjoy some chicken. Looking around this place it did not seem like the cleanest place. The tables had gross reside & it seemed that half the restaurant was unused. My daughter loved the boba & steamed dumplings. The pho was ok & the chicken was ok as well. Rating this place one star because of the filth all around. We were the only customers there at the time but I did notice a decent number of to-go orders going out. Maybe we came here on the wrong day, who knows. Would definitely not go back.

Where to start.. everything was sooo good Started with the dumplings and then I got the volcano ramen and my girlfriend got the spicy seafood ramen, nicely presented, both were very flavorful, would definitely recommend

First experience at the Noodle Shack but not new to ramen. After entering, I was sat promptly and brought water. The table had scan to order QR codes but the waitress came quickly and took my order. The Ramen was delicious, the broth was very full bodies and tasty. Nice variety of mushrooms and other topping, each crisp and fresh. The pork belly was tender. The waitress checked in a couple of times. I was able to pay easily using the QR code at the table, I love this convenience. If you are looking for a tasty quick bowl of Ramen, I recommend this spot!

When you enter the unassuming doors of Noodle Shack, you might as well be stepping into a vortex that transports your taste buds straight to Flavor Town, a place where the legendary Guy Fieri himself would feel right at home amidst the symphony of sizzling pans and the tantalizing aroma of spices. My husband and I started with several appetizers including the summer rolls (so fresh and the peanut sauce was scrumptious!), the Vietnamese spring rolls, and the pan-fried shumai dumplings. Then came the main event. My beef drunken noodles were AMAZING! The steak was so tender and the dish danced with flavor. Meanwhile, my husband's volcano ramen bowl was a work of art that could have easily graced the cover of "Vogue: The Ramen Edition". The dish was not only a feast for the eyes but an eruption of taste that could pacify even the most ferocious appetite. The service at Noodle Shack? Phenomenal. Their attentiveness and warmth added an extra sprinkle of joy to our dining experience, proving that great service is the cherry on top of a delicious meal. We will definitely be back. In fact, I'm drafting a petition to have Guy Fieri knight the Noodle Shack as the next culinary treasure on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". This place isn't just good; it's a noodle nirvana, a dumpling dreamland, a sanctuary of spring rolls. If you haven't been to Noodle Shack, pack your appetite, leave your diet at the door, and prepare for a gastronomic journey that will leave you dreaming of noodles and more.

I had the seafood Pho here, and it was to die for, rich tasty broth, had the Pork Buns for appetizer, also extremely delicious. Nice staff. Unfortunately short staffed but these days I refuse to penalize a place for being short staffed. It's everyone's fault.

We ate here tonight, and our meal was amazing! We got the Tako Yaki and the Shack Buns as appetizers and both were delicious! The pork belly on the buns was not crispy but the flavor was amazing. The Tako Yaki was the best I've had! I highly recommend the volcano ramen. It was spicy, fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back! The prices are good. The quality of the food is amazing and the quantity is large. Our server Kelly was attentive. The restaurant is also very clean.

This is my 3rd visit to Noodle Shack, and I admit being surprised by the name because rather than a shack it seems somewhat upscale. On my first visit I got the Dan Dan noodles special. It seems to be a perpetual special. All 3 times my mom got Drunken Noodles and the past 2 times I ordered it. Today the chef seemed pressed in the kitchen because it took awhile for our order and I got more than a few noodles that were clumped together 3 and 4 noodles thick. Stirring while cooking takes P care of that. I ordered mine with shrimp and there were 7 large shrimp in my portion. They dont have regular iced tea but they have thai iced tea, very sweet with a nice spice flavor. We enjoy that very much. Have not tried any of the bubble teas. They seem to require a bit more adventure than we possess. The seafood spring rolls are crispy fried rolls of deliciousness. They come with some kind of Asian fusion dipping sauce. Very tasty! The seafood in them is hardly discernable but they go down with ease! Service today was s.l.o.w. and they are likely affected by staffing issues like every place else. Take out business is brisk here. They serve a varied menu of Asian influenced dishes from Japanese to Thai. The restaurant is clean, well appointed and the prices are moderate with generous portions. Only the slow service affected this eatery from getting 5 stars instead of 4. Oh, and the clumpy noodles.

Popped in here with my family after finishing up coaching a cross country meet, and I'm glad we did! The restaurant had a modern atmosphere on the inside, and was very clean. The waitstaff was very kind, quick, and attentive, especially since we were there close to closing. I ordered the shrimp shumai as an appetizer, the tonkatsu ramen as an entree, and the banana nutella bun as a dessert. All were delicious, and had a really nice presentation. Overall, really impressed with this place. Will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I stopped by here to try, there's no ramen places anywhere near us so we were just hoping for anything decent. Noodle Shack went far beyond what we were expecting. Service was quick, kind, and accommodating despite the fact that there was really only one server at the time. The ambiance was very pleasant and relaxed with a touch of class. All three dishes we selected were incredible. Highly recommend this place, not sure how it doesn't have a 10star rating

Tofu Teriyaki, 6 Piece Gyoza, Seaweed Salad, Beef Drunken Noodle, brown rice side and we also got miso soup (not pictured)

My boyfriend and I think this is the first time trying this place (because we think it used to be something else before it was Noodle Shack that we have gone to...but don't quote me on that) and overall we would say it wasn't bad. The items are fairly priced for the portions and quality. We ordered: tofu teriyaki which came with miso soup (or salad but we chose the soup), seaweed salad, gyoza and beef drunken noodles. All items tasted delicious. The teriyaki tofu was better than I expected it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The marinated sautéed onions at the bottom of the tray were the best. The drunken noodles were good, they remind me of Ho Fun from Chinese takeout in a way. The seaweed salad tasted right and the gyoza was sooo good like steamed dumplings! The miso soup we ordered was a good sized portion for being an included side dish with the tofu so I was pleased with that. Next time I would like to try the side salad if it comes with the ginger dressing. I will have to go back and try some other dishes and will update my review.

Tried their ramen and honestly was very underwhelmed by the flavor of the broth. Did not taste very authentic. The cha siu was pretty tasty though. However I will say that their okonomiyaki and takoyaki were good. Cannot complain too much, as there are super limited options for ramen around here.

Easy to order by phone from the table. Food is tasty but portions were smaller than on earlier pictures. Service was amiable. Tables are separated, but the Atmosphere was not too special.

They even have some boba tea options. Not sure I would trust the mango and strawberry mochi ice cream though. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen combo which comes with a pork bun and Thai iced tea. I was able to get the Thai tea less sweet. Altogether it was $20 which isn't too bad. Thai tea was as you would expect nothing wrong with it. Pork bun was pretty good, nice soft bun with slices of pork with lettuce, cucumber with a sweet sauce. Spicy tonkatsu ramen was alright, above average for York, PA. It came with a closer to hard boiled half egg, one slice of fish cake, some bamboo, a few slices of chashu that was marinated but a little overcooked, and pink ginger.. Why they would put pink ginger in ramen is beyond me but it was not a good choice. Flavor of broth was good and spicy level is more of a mild. They do have a devil ramen which is much spicier. Ambience was cool, they have a mist machine with purple lights in the middle and a Naruto figure near the door. They also have a small tv playing Naruto episodes non-stop. Service was good too. Servers checked on my at appropriate times. One of the bathrooms was out of service when I came, hopefully they will fix that soon. Overall, worth a visit to get your Ramen fix in York.
