This ramen hit the spot on a rainy evening. I love that the ramen bowls are served to our tables. The shrimp spicy ramen bowl was hearty and a little spicy . Got food regrets after coming here. I took my family here cause they never had ramen before and this place ruined ramen for them. They ordered the #4 pork one and literally just picked at it. I gave it a taste and understood why. I felt so bad because I wanted them to have a good experience. It tasted so bland and the little flavor it did have was not it. I got the the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was alright. It was spicy and the toppings were good but nothing worth the price and not worth coming back to. I mean my bar was already low because people probably come here for the anime and not the food. It was giving instant ramen vibes. The ambiance was good though. Love seeing the naruto panels on the wall, they were playing one piece on the tv. Service was great and the waiters were kind. I love love love Ninja Ramen! This is a great spot for anime fans (and also people who are craving a very flavorful ramen broth)! I squeal every time I go. It's super cool--the restaurant is Naruto themed as you might have guessed--there are banners of Naruto eating Ichiraku ramen, a shippuden statue up front and walls patterned with scenes from the manga. Not to mention a large TV playing anime in the background, with cute ambience. Everything I've eaten here is delicious as well, not just the ramen. I've had their fried gyoza dumplings, lil pork buns, crispy scallion pancakes, and their green tea mousse as a part of various combos. As well as their Thai iced tea (they also serve boba!) So far I've sampled their signature ninja ramen, miso ramen, beef flank ramen, and new black garlic ramen--all very good. They came out sizzling and warm (see video--now I am craving ramen again!) My favorite ramen so far has been the new black garlic ramen--just yum! A great portion and very flavorful with plentiful pork. Not too salty. Noodles cooked to perfection. First time! Tl;dr= if you're used to big city ramen (LA,NYC), you'll probably think this is between 3-4/5, but for this area this is definitely 5/5 for ramen! We came in at around 1pm on Sunday and warning, it's not a big place. Tables for 2 were less than a foot apart. Service was quick, though employees hampered by tiny walking room. We ordered the thai tea and mango passion tea as bevs, and the spicy tonkatsu ramen Mango passion tea was delicious and sweet. Thai tea was great but slightly sweeter than ideal. We also ordered shrimp tempura shu mai which were delish! Served with a peanutty sauce and fried lightly, not too heavy. Spicy Tonkatsu - tasty, good spice level (though could be spicier), and cha siu was well prepared. Broth could be slightly thicker for tonkatsu and the pickled ginger was pretty overpowering. Otherwise, definitely the best in the area. I'll probably try others next time The theme is super cute! Very hip/youthful and naruto based while also playing Kpop in the background. read more

Apparently this town rolls up the roads at 8 PM on Sunday nights. I arrived in town at 8:30 and this was one of the few places still open. I'm glad it was. This was my first time eating ramen other than the 25¢ grocery store variety. I got a combo which included: 1. Ninja Tonkotsu RamenNatural heritage Berkshire pork bone soup (tonkatsu). Chashu Pork, Half Marinated Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Bean Sprouts, Kikurage, Red Ginger, Scallion, Corn, Fish Cake And A4.Pork Bun - Slow roasted pork with spring mix, tomato, cucumber, and spicy mayonnaise on a soft style bun. My husband asked for additional noodles and it was a small upcharge. I thought his tummy would explode, from eating so many noodles. I was disappointed with the scallion pancake. It was sorta bendy and not fried, crisp. NR, don't mistreat your scallion pancakes; they need to be served Hot and crisp. Also, I do advise you in skipping those sweet teas. We also got the starry Boboit was ok (im not a fan of the balls in the drinks its a texture thing lol) the egg was so good in the soup the chicken could use a little more seasoning for me and the gyoza def had a frozen type of taste and couldve been fried a little harder but it was a good try! It was okay. Miso ramen broth was watery. Need to add more miso. Katsu was plentiful, but barely had any toppings at all. I had to ask for toppings on the side (sprouts and corn). Gyoza. Perfectly cooked, but the sauce was off. Soy sauce based with a hint of sweet. Traditional gyoza sauce shouldn't be sweet, it should be vinegar based. Ordered green tea, but they brought me Jasmine tea, which I don't personally like the flowery tase. I asked them for actual green tea and they reassured me that it's green tea multiple times. So maybe the base was, but it's definitely mixed with jasmine tea. Japanese don't normally drink jasmine tea, it's more typical in China. As a Japanese restaurant, they should know better as the Japanese are serious about their ocha. Wasn't terrible, but the owners need to go on a tour of Japan and learn tradition, or consult with a Japanese chef on all fronts. read more

It is a cute little ramen spot with a Naruto theme, definitely warmed my younger anime/manga heart . Service is quick. We were seated immediately and greeted within minutes (arrived around 7pm and were fed and full by ~8/8:15pm!). Food is amazing! It is hard to find a place that both me and my partner enjoy the ramen and this place takes the cake! As someone who typically does not order spicy items, I took a risk and tried something different. Americanized Ramen joint. Not authentic food at all. I've been seeing this chain a lot in central pa so decided to try the Lancaster location. Inside is very cute and the reviews were excellent so had to try it out. We got the following items Pork belly buns- the pork belly was sliced so thin it just tasted like bacon. Sausages- would pass, nothing spectacular about it. Taste like those mini sausages you get at giant. Bubble tea- I got the brown sugar milk tea and it was horrible, not sweet and the boba was either old or not cooked properly bc it was so hard. Super watery. Not a hint of brown sugar. Bulgogi bowl- this was definitely not beef bulgogi. Not seasoned at all. Super bland. There's a difference between bulgogi meat and steak and cheese meat and this was steak and cheese meat sautéed with soy sauce and sugar. Spicy pork ramen- probably the worst thing we got bc the broth was so bad. Nothing spicy about it. Kimchi- Costco kimchi I just can't explain how disappointed I am with this place nothing about the food was good or authentic. It is definitely catered to fit the taste buds for Americans or locals. Of course the reviews are gonna be so good bc it's not Asians reviewing the food.... The Costco ramen is so much better.... $55 for all the food we got was not worth it all. If you want good authentic ramen or bulgogi pls go to Ellicot City in Md or Philly and there's tons good authentic places. read more

We start with spring roll ,(crispy ,tasty and not oily) , Japanese pork sausage (not too salty), we ordered two Ramens with one combo that served with pork bun and Thai tea with $6 more. I will say Thai tea is the best around here, not overly sweet and still has a taste of thai tea. We ordered spicy tonkotsu Ramen and pork shoyu ramen, both of them tasted good, perfectly cooked pork melt in your mouth, tasty broth. Atmosphere is Naruto ninja theme. Service is excellent. My husband and I are huge anime fans and we could not wait for it to open. We were extremely disappointed. The place is so small you can barely move. The ramen taste like they got bags of instant ramen from the Walmart across the shopping center. I usually prefer Pho so this restaurant had me thinking maybe I just simply didn't like ramen. So I withheld reviewing. Until I went to TWO different anime restaurants (one in FL and one in Philadelphia) and had ramen and realized it was amazing. Just to be sure we went back to Ninja ramen a second time and again was served gross ramen in lukewarm broth. It was a huge disappointment we were so excited to have an anime base restaurant in this city only to have the food be gross :( read more
