Second time here. Came with some coworkers after telling them about my first experience. I really enjoyed my spicy tonkatsu Ramen that I had last time but I wanted to try something different to further explore their menu. Today I had their beef shank Ramen with a side of the takoyaki octopus balls. The takoyaki octopus balls we're really good. They were warm and creamy and one of my co-workers also got to try some for my plate and she said she really enjoyed them as well. The beef shank Ramen was good however I felt it could have used a little bit more broth but compared to the spicy tonkatsu Ramen I prefer the latter. I really wanted the tan tan Ramen however they were out of it. One of my co-workers ordered the tempura shumai then I had the opportunity to try one and it was good. Two of my co-workers ordered the pork buns and both raved about them. One of my co-workers tried the Japanese sausage, which I also got to sample, and it was good. I do plan on returning to try the tan tan Ramen. read more

Excellent food! Very clean restaurant. Super service. We love it there! Ninja Ramen is my favorite bowl. Others are great too. Can't go wrong. My daughter loves the octopus balls. read more

Ninja Ramen is a solid 3 for food tastiness. However I'm giving it 4 stars because it was WAY better than all the other places I have tried in town. It's clean, has a fun atmosphere, and the service was quick and very friendly. Portion size could use a bit of a boost, but I still left satiated after a bowl of tonkatsu and some tasty fried calamari. I will admit I'm a bit spoiled since I ate at dozens of different ramen shops in Tokyo, as well as lived in northern CA for 30 years where there are a TON of amazing Japanese restaurants. Their flavors are definitely there, it just needs a bit more "oomph" in the umami department. I'm guessing that is because of trying to appeal to the American palate? In any case, I would definitely eat here again, I was not put off by anything, even when I went in with some skepticism on my first visit. read more

Great ramen. The best ramen I had in the local area. I like the Japanese anime decors. Service was quick and attentive. The owner/ server was very polite. Takoyaki was a bit mushy inside but I did enjoy the sauces. Price is reasonable and plenty of parking. Expect to wait a bit during busy hours though because the restaurant is a bit small. read more

Ninja Ramen - Pork bun and Japanese sausage - Ramen Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

For a small shop the Tonkatsu Ramen wasn't bad, except that it had no tonkatsu only the southern style chasu pork which was sliced too thin for a tonkatsu ramen. The Fukuoka style creamy broth (pork fat blended with dashi) was actually flavorful and not bland. I also had the "Japanese Sausage" which was over fried, the Gyoza which was lukewarm in terms of temperature - almost cool to the touch and Takoyaki, which was good. Great service, they're trying hard and it's good to see to these small places give it a go. For improvements I recommend they make note in their menu that vinegar and lai yu (chili oil) is available for the Gyoza and I recommend that they make their own Gyoza. That way it's always freshly fried. Ask in all, an average small noodle shop. By the way, I recommend that hot green tea be served in traditional Japanese tea cups with your Ninja Ramen logo. You can sell them and gain another revenue stream, along with your Ninja Ramen T-shirts. read more

Very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the anime banners and the anime tv shows. Staff is very friendly and attentive won't disturb you every 5 mins like in other restaurants they respect space. The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic nothing fake nothing bad at all the kimchi was spicy and it was very darn good. Definitely recommend if you are ever in the area of Lancaster and want good ramen. read more

The food is great, but i really love the aesthetics of this place. I'm sure it's a packaged product like other chain restaurants, but this one is especially well done. The anime wallpaper, half curtain for the kitchen area, lovely traditional shape of the stools at the tables, bamboo stick booth dividers - all give a vibe of neat, clean, simple. VERY cool dishes that look like beautiful handmade raku-fired pottery but are melmac durable. I appreciated that we were offered a hammered stainless fork along with our chopsticks. The food was presented perfectly AND amazingly quickly. The Korean Kimchi met the approval of my born-in-Korean friend! REASONABLE PRICES! read more

Ok , so this was my first time ever trying authentic ramen. I'm not going to talk down on this restaurant because , it's honestly a very cute themed restaurant, love the Naruto / anime thing they have going on. Now , the service was very good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to my party of 3 , we were seated very quickly and started off with appetizers. I didn't have any of the shrimp tempura but it looked excellent. I opted for veggie spring rolls which were just that. They were very crispy and tasted fresh. I didn't care for the sauce , maybe because there wasn't much of it. Our entrees came out pretty quickly which was very nice. I eat Pho often , (like a few times a month often) so I came in thinking it would be something similar , but i was pretty disappointed in my ramen. I thought the beef would be a bit more ...fulfilling? I was very hungry and this just didn't do it for me. It was pretty flavorless to be honest. All in all , if ramen is your thing and you like the anime scene , I'd definitely check it out and see how you like it for yourself. read more

Fun place for a ramen lunch. Not fancy, but tasty food and pleasant. Reasonably priced.

Love their food! I didn't think I could have a better shumai than the tempura shumai. Amazing. Great food all around!!

I love this place! Everyone is so nice & the food is always amazing. The restaurant is small but it has a very nice layout that works well.

Ninja Ramen - A Fly in my soup - Ramen Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Absolutely delicious! My #1 had the most delicious broth & tender pork slices along with all the other ingredients. Get it as a combo- the pork bun was the best I've had and the Thai iced tea was good. Unfortunately, my wife didn't case for the #9 Miso vegetarian. It was very salty & flavor was mostly soy sauce flavor. read more

Guess Ninja Ramen Lancaster is off the menu now. I ordered one without toppings. It arrived with toppings. When I pointed it out to the server, he took it in the back and just took off the bigger toppings and stirred the smaller ones back into the soup rather than remaking it. I take it to the counter and show the manager all of the stuff floating in the soup, he says he can remake it and when I ask why they didn't do that to begin with, he doesn't have an answer. I asked him just to take it off the bill. The same manager later comes out and asks us, "How is everything?" I said, "well...I'm not eating, so....not great". Customer service failure. Beware if you have any food allergies. read more

So visited this spot multiple times and the quality of ingredients are good! The consistency hasn't always been the best, there's times the soup is rich and other times the soup is bland and ingredients are dry, just depends on what it is. Have tried the soup dumplings but most of the time they're drier. The pork appetizer is always soo soo good I would say that's their definite plus they have. The service has always been great and patient with your choices. The scenery is awesome! Definitely a Japanese Anime feel right when you walk in and that is always something to feel good about when eating there. Overall would recommend again! read more

Food was great and the Service was even bettter!!!!!!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!! Hurry in, you won't regret it!!

Wow, this ramen joint really delivers. The tonkatsu broth is so flavorful, noodles are perfectly cooked, quality pork, and a perfect egg. Pork buns were excellent, and the gyoza very delicious. The restaurant was clean and cozy to sit in, but would really stood out was the service. Exceptionally attentive, thoughtful, and friendly staff really made the dining experience outstanding. They made dinner special, and we will be coming back soon. A+! read more

Got take out order of beef ramen combo and spring rolls. The pork bun was incredibly tasty. Definitely a must order. The spring rolls were a bit disappointing, too greasy, not much flavor outside the dipping sauce. The ramen was done well. The ingredients were all good and well packaged. It compared favorably to other ramen I have had in larger cities. The Thai iced tea was very good and packaged not to spill, which was great. I would give 4.5 stars if I could and will definitely be back. read more

So the appetizers were good, my ramen was bland and dumplings were cold. What upset me was... I went into this spot with my 1 year old and i was the only one in there at the time. The server tried to seat me and my son at the worst part of the restaurant where there was hot heat from the kitchen blowing on us. I told them I could not sit there bc it was uncomfortable. I moved to another table and they kept pressuring me to order fast incase a bigger party comes in and they would need my table. Mind you I'm the only one in the restaurant at this time so I was super confused. And they don't take reservations. I was rushed to order because the server thought a bigger party could "potentially" come in and they would need the table I was at. I was at a 4 top and it was me, my man and my son. I did not enjoy my experience here. I felt like an inconvenience to them. Mind you my son is well behaved and he loved the ramen. But I did not like the pressure of ordering fast, especially when I'm the only table in the restaurant... weird. read more
