Sorry gang but my receipt didn't say what the rolls were and my memory isn't what it use to be. The one is red tuna topped phili roll and the other was a Ginza special last on the list on the right side. Also started with a miso. I know I am supposed to finish with a miso but not in Japan so we did it American style. Tasty rolls and super friendly service. Steady flow in and out so definitely a local favorite. Nice find within walking distance of the hotel. Beautiful evening for a stroll to walk it all off. Traditional Asian decor. I ordered three rolls for lunch with a friend. The Door Dasher was great, but the food was not. I have never left a negative review, but this was bad. The spider roll and smoked salmon were both dry and not fresh. The salmon was extremely fishy. We threw both rolls away for fear of getting ill. The shaggy dog roll had fried shrimp that was so hard, it made a noise as it hit the table. It was also dry and was thrown away. We love sushi, but cannot recommend this place. Very pleased with my experience here. I debated 4 or 5 stars as there are things I'd like to see like more items beyond rolls in AYCE and the usual bottomless, plus maybe these could help their bottom line. The place is pristine and inviting. The service is quick, helpful and to the point. Note they will clarify the "waste fee" as needed, this bothers some people and some of us appreciate the clarity; it is just so we all are on same page. Plenty plaza parking, great location and I must say my lean to 5 stars has a lot to do with the freshness of the fish in my rolls. The taste was super. They have the best Won ton soup here! I finally tried the AYCE since I ordered off the menu last time and got AYCE size sushi. The rolls were very good, I didn't order a slobs portion (3 rolls as I recall) and got a warning about the consequences of not eating my three rolls. I think they said they would put a lien on my house or something but I couldn't hear her very well ;-) I'm not an AYCE type guy, I mean unless they are serving King Crab legs (never happened) and then perhaps I would make the ocean cry. We did the all you can eat sushi, which paid for itself. $23.95 pp. There is a nice variety of specialty and traditional rolls on there, and is totally worth it if you want more than 2 specialty rolls. The sushi was fresh and service was quick. I highly recommend for a unique sushi experience in Lancaster that isn't a buffet. This was my first time ordering since the pandemic started. I always forget about Ginza because of its location, but has always been one of the better sushi places in Lancaster. Online ordering is easy breezy and so is pickup. The entrance is completely sealed off, there is an opening in the tarp about the size of a doggie door and you will only see your bag come out and a hand with your receipt. Sushi tasted fresh and presented well, as usual. My eel roll was a little loose this time, was kind of falling apart as you tried to handle with chopsticks, but no big deal. The best sushi you'll find in Lancaster! I think it might even be family owned? The service is outstanding, the speed at which you get your food is fast, and the food is quality. I love that when you get crab in a roll, it's not just a chunk of crab. They take the time to mix it down and make everything right. We moved from the west coast and it took us a lot of trial and error to find a sushi joint that hit all of the marks. And this is the one. We'll gladly drive the 25m to and fro for their sushi. Sometimes we'll even piggyback the trip with Costco. I can call the order in before we check out, and it's usually ready to pick up by the time we've gotten checked out and loaded up. And the girls that work the hostess stand and serve are the best! So sweet, hard working, and they remember their customers that frequent. I should have known getting sushi in Lancaster was not worth it. Got 3 things. Two came with miso soup and a salad. The miso soup was really salty. The salad was ok. The first thing we ordered was a pork don katsu. I couldn't even tell that the pork was fried besides having breading on it. It was very bland. I know the egg is on the katsu but there was no crispness to it. The fried rice underneath was a bit slimy. I didn't finish it. The second thing was a sashimi dinner (25 pieces). Was definitely not worth it. The third was the shaky dog roll. Probably was the best of the 3. But still mediocre. The service was good though. Only redeeming factor. read more

I would describe Ginza as casual dining and excellent taste. AYCE menu had Lots of sushi choices. Quality and taste is above average and reasonably priced. The wait staff was extremely pleasant and quick on service. They also had a large menu to choose from, during this visit we had just sushi though. Low noise level so conversations are easy. We were visiting from California and very impressed with this place! Our party of 10 was seated right away, severs were very friendly. The sushi was very fresh (tuna tataki was amazing). I don't remember the names of all the rolls we ordered but everything was delicious. We have some quality sushi restaurants here on the West Coast, but the sushi here is comparable to what we get at our favorite spots. If you have actually eaten freshly prepared sushi or know anything about sushi you will understand. The all you can eat sushi sounds like a good idea / bang for your buck. But for the quality sushi it's not worth it. I would rather pay for each individual roll at a more fresh sushi bar then the all you can eat option. They also charge you for any sushi you do not eat on the all you can eat option. You also cannot order more sushi until you have completely finished your sushi that you had already ordered. My fiancé ordered the Terayaki Bente Box which turned out to be delicious excluding the California roll and pork dumplings that comes along with the entree. The dumplings taste frozen and not a lot of flavor. White rice very well prepared along with the vegetables. All in all service was okay. If they really put some emphasis on revamping / ensuring quality sushi I would give this place another chance. read more
