Fantastic experience. Clean restaurant. The staff were so welcoming. The server was juggling more tables than I've seen any server handle and the service did not suffer from it. She was amazing!' The sushi itself was excellent my wife and I went three rounds before I had to tap out. 50 dollars for two people the deal cannot be beat. If you come here tip big cause they absolutely deserve it. Hidden gem for sure. read more

Walked in at 8 pm and was asked if I was dining in or take out. I said dine in. "I have to ask if the chef is still going to cook." WTF? You close at 9 pm! The sushi chef and 2 other employees were chatting near the kitchen door. My favorite waitress was not working. I walked out. read more

We were regulars here and haven't been here for about a year now. We always get the all you can eat and my wife, who doesn't eat seafood orders off the menu. Tonight we were informed that you cannot split orders like that, so we simply let them know we won't be back due to this policy and left. Unfortunate really and we didn't ask for a reason, but of they're willing to lose customers due to a policy like this, there's always other local spots. read more

Okay, so I've heard a few reviews from my mates at my local jiujitsu gym so I've had high expectations. I went to this place for the first time taking by my father for his retirement ceremony dinner with my momma. Being a Japanese man raised with Japanese food, going to Japan and experiencing authentic Japanese sushi, my reviews are not the norm in Lancaster pa. First, I love the fact that they offer sashimi/nigiri options for a low price of 5.99 plus the standard ayce option of 19.99. They also offer the kitchen menus such as tempuras, lo Mein, egg drop soup, calamari, chicken wings and more... BYOB just adds to the bonus BOO YAHH!!! The staff were attentive and nice and the variety of menu for my appetite was worth the price for the three of us. The reason it didn't get the last star was due to the expectation of ayce be the speed that the foods were served. Sushi items were slow to be served compared to the self served sushi options at the local ayce places but they had some great ayce menus such as yellow tail and scallop (must try) nigiri and squid sashimi (king of mollusks). They also do byob so get a dd and you are set my friend! Try the ayce if you can eat lots of Asian food and you are set. read more

So here is what is interesting about this place, First they have awesome Won-ton soup. Usually it's thin noodles that collapse under their own weight, Not here. Nice firm, delicious. But the sushi, I did not do the AYCE option just did the regular sushi menu but I got the feeling that the nigiri especially was sort of the AYCE size (small pieces of fish etc) I had tobiko sushi and there was barely enough tobiko to cover the eggs. I understand when you are doing AYCE you adjust the sushi, but I wasn't and I feel like i got smaller pieces than I should have. read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. It is not a fancy restaurant, but the atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful and you don't feel rushed. We were able to take our time and relax and enjoy our meal. The food was very good, we had the all you can eat sushi at $23 a person. The all you can eat menu included other items besides sushi. It was a good value. It included all you can eat ice cream for dessert! Our server was a young individual by the name of Lauren who provided us very good service. She was very attentive! We most definitely will be back to this restaurant more than once. read more

My daughter and I just left and we're pleasantly surprised by some of it and thought other things could be better. The silverware (at least mine) was spotty and I had to wipe it off. We started out with edamame which was great. (We ate all of it.) I ordered sushi and Olivia ordered chicken pad Thai and we both shared with each other. My first sushi bite was great. They were big pieces and it wasn't all rice. It tasted pretty good. (Not the best spicy tuna I've ever had but it wasn't the worst either.) I ordered 2 rolls and that was plenty. I didn't even finish half of it. They have a special of all you can eat sushi for like $23 or something but we didn't get that because there is no need. I tried Olivia's Pad Thai and it wasn't that great. It was lacking chicken, nuts, veggies, etc. It tasted like a big bowl of noodles, and if you go to a place that specializes in pad Thai it's usually way better. Our server was nice and helpful. She gave us her recommendations and we started with Miso soup which was really good. When we finished the bill was on the low side of $30 so it was more than reasonable. When talking to Olivia about it we both agreed that we eventually would come here again but since we're new to Lancaster we'll explore other places first before coming again. It's not a bad place at all. read more

Arrived here on a Friday, around 7pm after about an hour drive, there were maybe 5 tables that were seated, place semed not that busy. A young fella told us that there would be a wait, when we asked how long, the lady (making the sushi, seemed to be the boss) totally yelled, not happy to see us the least bit, even the young fella seemed embarrased. Well, we were told that they could not say how long the wait would be. Knowing the closing time and not being told about the wait, we went to Manor buffet. Very unlikely chance we will go back. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Horrible customer service, the waitress had a crappy attitude when I asked which rolls they delivered because they combined 3 peoples orders to 1 plate. Apparently my question annoyed her. They then argued in front of us and seemed to struggle with our orders when there was only 1 other table. Very disappointing. read more

All you can eat rice.... We decided to try this place out despite having poor experiences at all you can eat sushi places, but this is new to our area and we wanted to check it out, we will not be back. We only had sushi, all you can eat, and we didn't even get to look at the Chinese menu because the host took it from us as soon as we sat down, she asked us which menu we wanted and we told her this was our first time here, after she explained the ordering system for the AYCE sushi, she took the other menu. We got here at 6pm on a Friday night and were surprised that we were only one of two tables, but we figured we would soon find out the reason. The price is fine, you can order up to 3 rolls or 5 pieces of sushi at a time, just so you aren't wasteful, and they give you an appetizer form which had some decent selections. We ordered edamame, miso soup, house salad and sweet potato tempura, I recommend them all, very good, decent portion. The sushi arrived and the eel sauce is completely weird, the fish is non existent and the rolls are half rice. The host clearly noticed our reaction to the sushi and tried to apologize for the poor work of the sushi chef, completely putting blame on him for skimping on product and trying to stuff rice as a filling. I get it, it's Lancaster, my sushi expectations are low, but this is the worst we have had by far in the entire area. I attached photos. read more

Did the ayce sushi option. Ordered some appetizers and sushi rolls. Appetizers were okay, got the shrimp tempura and it was really oily and not much shrimp, but a lot of batter. Sushi arrived, we ordered several rolls. All had the same consistency such as very soft sushi rice almost mushy?! Rolls were huge and rolled with lots of rice, we had to remove some of the rice to make it more one bite size. Also the ginger for the sushi tasted old. For dessert we got ice cream. Let's just say there was alot of ice chips in my ice cream. However, staff was fairly good. read more

Love this place food is always amazing and the servers are always awesome! The fried chicken sushi is absolutely amazing and the lo mein can compete with other hibachi spots. Overall I love this place and tell everyone about it. Only complaint I have ever had is the woman usually on the phone. Idk if she owns the place or what but I'll call sometimes and I'll get "don't come here, we are packed just don't come". Also tried calling in sushi in the past and the same lady was rude like really rude so my wife hung up the phone on her and we ate somewhere else. This place is amazing but it's usually a weird relationship with the phone lady. Overall definitely recommend!!! read more

Can't go wrong with all u can eat for $21.99. But don't waste your food because it will cost you. Which I like that thought. Not sure what happens if you did not like what you order....but signature rolls are on the list so that did make it worh the cost. I recommend the snow white roll! read more

Dropped in for the all you can eat sushi lunch special for $10.99. When you get that sort of deal, it's essential to leave some leniency in your expectations of quality, such as an unfavorable fish to rice ratio or extra crunchies on the Spicy Shrimp. When I realized I was eating mostly crunch rice balls drenched in soy sauce, I hadn't even started to get disappointed yet. I was receiving the expected service for which I paid for. What I did not expect was the confrontation I had with the waitress on their clean plate policy. I totally understand if one continues ordering additional rolls, takes one bite, and asks for the check, that an additional charge may have merit. In my case, I ordered 3 rolls and was so stuffed on rice and crunchies that those 2 last pieces were unwelcome to my system. However, I was told if I did not stuff my face with those last two bites, I'd be charged. I looked around in disbelief to the vacant restaurant and thought my only interaction with the staff would be receiving an accolade for pitching in my share of the electric bill. But no, their sights were set on the deepest depths of my wallet. And no, I couldn't take them to go. And now my belly hurts. My fortune cookie said "don't put all your eggs in one basket." In Okinii's case, I certainly won't. read more

Pretty upset with this visit. My fiancé and I were here for hours waiting on food. The waitress was not only inattentive and slow but rude! The kitchen constantly got our order wrong but we had to eat it or get charged! The environment was pretty unpleasant as well since we kept hearing the staff screaming at the top of their lungs and arguing in the back. Would not come back. read more

The sushi was excellent and had great service. We had a large group and they were accommodating. We will be back!

Outstanding for those with seafood allergies. You know how there are all these beef substitute burgers with names like beef4neva, soybeburger, tofutofunck? Well, Okinii really wants to trick your brain into believing you're biting into the real thing with (albeit uncreative) names for "sushi" rolls like eel cucumber, crab, white fish, California etc. but don't worry!! There's almost just rice! So those of you who also don't like buying instant rice for 1.99 and waiting ten minutes can get your all-you-can-eat fill here for only 10.99 for lunch!! So, in summary, this place is excellent for those with seafood allergies and lazy white rice lovers!! read more

I went here on a Friday evening and I found the food to be decent for the lancaster area. They have an all you can eat dining option for 20.99 where you are able to order from a menu that has an array of appetizers and sushi options. You order in rounds and are only able to order three items at a time. The main issue I've noticed is the lack of staff. This place seems family owned and utilizes two younger teens as the wait staff, one person making sushi and at least another individual in the back fulfilling other orders. Since there only appears to be one person present making sushi, I would advise to only select the all you can eat if the place is not that busy as you will be waiting 30-40mins+ just to get your first order like we experienced. These wait times increased as more and more customers arrived and were seated as well as pick up orders arriving. When it's time to order another round of food you'll prob have to wait another 40mins+ at least to receive the food. These long periods for an all you can eat sushi dining option will leave you questioning if you should wait it out to maximize your 20.99 or take the loss and value your time. After two rounds we decided to ask for the check. We left and ended up going to another place as we were still hungry. This place has potential but the lack of kitchen staff definitely inhibits the restaurants ability to keep pace with the demand which greatly hampers the dining experience for the customers. The food is not worth the wait in my opinion. A solution to this would be to hire another sushi chef to keep up with demand, or control the demand by not seating more guests then the restaurant can service in a timely manner read more

Go here for the Sushi Buffett! Quick and nice customer service. Fresh sushi! The side dishes are also very good!

I randomly found this place a few months back. Ever since, I've been in for the AYCE sushi at least once a week. The quality of the food is amazing! I don't know how they keep it so cheap! I love coming here. It has become my boyfriend and I's Saturday tradition. My two favorite rolls are the chicken tempura rolls and the spicy lobster rolls. Their miso soup is consistently amazing, which is hard to come by. I recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers. read more

My friends and I are huge fans of all-you-can eat sushi but we've never had a place to go in Lancaster. This place is pretty good for the price. I mean you can't really beat all-you-can eat lunch sushi for $10.99 in the Lancaster area. That being said, Okinii Sushi is a complete copycat of Allentown's Lily Sushi--literally some of the named rolls are exactly the same. Decent AYCE sushi here... Disappointed that the "crab" was actually Krab (imitation crabmeat). This is something they should specify and correct (spelling) on their menu. Prices: $10.99 for lunch, $19.99 for dinner. There is a $5.99 extra charge if you want sushi or sashimi which I think isn't right. They also have a brunch - not sure on price. The aioli mixes were too mayonnaise-y. Not enough sriracha or wasabi taste to them. The ginger smelled like a dirty old rag :-( which made it difficult to swallow. So I skipped out on the rest of the ginger. The rolls were pretty good. Got the Chef Special, Perfect Match, and either the Crush or Okinii (can't remember). The deep fried ones were huge. The ones with cream cheese had way too much cr cheese in them. The end pieces were way too large to eat in one mouthful. Almost donut size. I had to cut it up. Really enjoyed the house salad and dumplings. I will probably come back and stay away from the deep fried rolls and ginger! read more

Decided to go here on my hour long lunch break (2 minute drive from where I work). Only one or two tables were occupied during lunch. We ordered almost immediately from the AYCE menu. I ordered a vegetable roll, a side of vegetable lo mein, and a side of fried rice. It took 45 minutes to receive any of my food while my partner was served two dishes and tables that arrived after us were given dish after dish. Even though I am a vegetarian, I started picking the rice off of my partner's (non-vegetarian) sushi rolls while waiting for my food. They brought dishes to our table from tables that were sat after us while we were waiting for our food. They forgot about my vegetable roll and served several other tables sushi. I had to eat all three dishes within 10 minutes and leave. I had to leave my partner to take care of the check so I could return to work. The waitress also scolded the table next to us for sharing, because of their no sharing policy for tables that are mixed with AYCE and those who order off of the menu. I would not recommend going here on any time limit. read more

All stars are for the amazing sushi chef who made the most exquisite lobster roll I've eaten anywhere. Her creations were all beautiful, well proportioned, and absolutely delicious. We were not as thrilled with what came from the kitchen. Sub par regulars, soup, salad, chicken, but the fried tofu should not be the consistency of a hockey puck! It should be soft inside, flavored with Bonita flakes or something, anything! Go for this sushi chef. She is wonderful! read more
