One of my favorite sushi places in York. The service is quick, the food is delicious, and their veggie fried rice is amazing! It has a traditional sushi restaurant vibe inside but has a nice bar area as well. Bathrooms here are super clean which is a good bonus and I have never had a bad experience here and have been going for years.

We tried Masa Bistro for the first time today and it was delicious. I highly recommend the 'sexy jalapeño' as a spicy, unique appetizer. The sushi was also delicious and beautifully prepared. The table service was a bit rushed and the atmosphere was nothing special, but we will absolutely be back for the food.

For reasons unknown we never went to Masa before, even though it's directly across from where my in-laws lived for forever. On Saturday afternoon my husband and I were feeling like sushi and decided to give Masa a try. We feel so dumb. It was SO GOOD. It looks like an apartment building from the outside but inside it's beautifully but simply decorated in dark colors. It was spotlessly clean with no discernible scent. (If a sushi place smells like fish you should leave immediately!) We were seated at a table in the dining room at about 4 pm, so a little early for a Saturday. While we ate the room filled up. Our server was attentive with our beverages and taking care of us. We started with pork gyoza. Six came in the order and they were a little smaller than I've had in other places but moist, tasty and perfectly browned. My husband and I each ordered 2 specialty rolls. We had the Mountain Roll, the Hollywood Roll, Mr Crab Roll and the Sea King roll. They were all delicious and we really overate. So full. No regrets. One thing to mention, all of these rolls were large but the Mountain Roll especially so. It was just a little bit too much to put in my mouth all at once. I recommend Masa to anyone looking for sushi or Japanese food. It's a great location for a date.

We wanted to go somewhere different tonight for sushi and remembered stopping here for soup a few years ago. I wish were came back sooner! We ordered a sashimi bento box. It came with a salad with ginger dressing, the salad was so cold, fresh and crisp , the dressing was perfect. My fish was so cold and tasted amazing! We also ordered some rolls 3/$30, came with salad. We had the Masa, coconut shrimp and Flim Flam rolls. All were amazing but the Flim Flam was my favorite. The waitress was nice and attentive.

Salmon cucumber roll, and tuna cucumber roll. More like cucumber with a hint Of fish.

I'm shocked at how little fish was in my take out tonight. I've gotten take out from Masa before and this was sad in comparison. I don't know if they were running out of fish and shouldn't have taken my order or this is the new normal. On top of that our fried Goyza was cold and over cooked.

Found this place on Yelp as I was visiting York and was looking for a good sushi. My order was accurate and everything tasted good. The woman who was the cashier was very friendly and there was a lot of parking. The building itself is a little strange as it seemed like I pulled up to someone's apartment - but it was indeed a restaurant!

Easily the best sushi in York. If we're forced to come to York for dinner this is one of our favorites. The sushi is reasonably priced and fresh. The dressing on the house salad is fantastic. This location now serves drinks as well. If you're looking for great sushi in York, you should give them a try.

I'm a REGULAR here and I live for their sushi. You won't find better sushi in the area for the price. The place is always clean, and there's pretty frequently a wait to get seated, but it's worth the time. The chef's specials are a bargain and will not disappoint. To with an appetite and waste your energy on the fried wontons they bring you as an appetizer - I promise you'll want to save room for their rolls. I frequently do fad diets (of course) and they can accommodate changes to the rolls, including being able to make them with brown rice (though they aren't as good) for a price. This place has a little bar area in the front and, though I never go for the drinks, they do a decent job with their cocktails and are reasonable in pricing. If you haven't already, you need to go here. It's in a weird location, but once you find it, you'll keep going back.

Lunch special- shrimp tempura roll, tuna avocado roll, spicy salmon roll. Delicious

I love this place sooo much. Their lunch specials are great and they have amazing food. My favorite is the valentine roll, for the lunch special I always get the shrimp tempura roll, salmon avocado roll, and spicy tuna roll. Amazing.

Masa...what can I say? - This is a solid Sushi place. York can be a difficult place for food diversity - but that is changing. First off, this is York Pa - not New York - or Philadelphia. The food offered here is good for York - not what you would come to expect in a major metropolitan area. The menu is large - too large, it is cumbersome and hard to understand, menu items are all over the place. If you are fussy or uncertain of items, it may take a visit or two before you can grasp everything on the menu - it might be helpful to look it over in advance, you can find it on their Facebook page. There is a bar - they make decent drinks, not awesome drinks - but decent cocktails. They have a decent selection of Sake as well - bottled beer only. I am hard pressed to think of nary a single sushi bar in the entire Harrisburg metro area that serves alcohol; York has 2 within a mile of each other - go figure. Masa has a huge assortment of cooked and raw rolls and sushi of every shape and form. They have teriyaki, hibachi, soba, ramen - udon, bento and more! Me - I typically enjoy sushi nigari...and preferably sashimi. Just the fish. The quality here seems very good - the fish portions are very large...very large, I can barely fit one piece of sashimi in my mouth they are so huge - the sushi nigari is equally as large! I take my girlfriend and her kids here and they are really new to the experience - they seem to like it, we keep coming back. You will find rolls with a lot of asparagus, cucumber, mango, avocado with lots of other interesting ingredients - mostly the sushi rolls here are Americanized though. Personally, I would like to see something more spicy with new and special rolls and creations that they innovate and change periodically - but that's just me. York Pa - sushi, cocktails - solid...nuff said

I had the spicy chicken #6 it is spicy but not super spicy (extremely flavorful). The octopus balls were absolutely delicious must try. Overall I say it was a fantastic experience and I suggest you go try it for yourself because you will be pleased.

They even have some boba tea options. Not sure I would trust the mango and strawberry mochi ice cream though. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen combo which comes with a pork bun and Thai iced tea. I was able to get the Thai tea less sweet. Altogether it was $20 which isn't too bad. Thai tea was as you would expect nothing wrong with it. Pork bun was pretty good, nice soft bun with slices of pork with lettuce, cucumber with a sweet sauce. Spicy tonkatsu ramen was alright, above average for York, PA. It came with a closer to hard boiled half egg, one slice of fish cake, some bamboo, a few slices of chashu that was marinated but a little overcooked, and pink ginger.. Why they would put pink ginger in ramen is beyond me but it was not a good choice. Flavor of broth was good and spicy level is more of a mild. They do have a devil ramen which is much spicier. Ambience was cool, they have a mist machine with purple lights in the middle and a Naruto figure near the door. They also have a small tv playing Naruto episodes non-stop. Service was good too. Servers checked on my at appropriate times. One of the bathrooms was out of service when I came, hopefully they will fix that soon. Overall, worth a visit to get your Ramen fix in York.
