Went for my birthday dinner tonight. There were a few other tables eating, but plenty of seats to choose from. Spouse and I chose a seat off to the side so we could chat quietly. We ordered steamed pork mandu, beef bulgogi bowl, and soy garlic Korean fried chicken. The server was friendly and very cool! Great personality. She gave us some water, a small iceberg salad with citrus dressing, and a cup of miso soup. I appreciate that the salad and soup were complimentary and small servings--- I wanted to save room for the main event! The salad was crunchy and refreshing and the soup warmed me to my toes. Wish I had had it a few months ago when I was sick! I will definitely be hitting them up for some miso soup next time I'm under the weather. The mandu dumplings were delicious. We could tell the filling was homemade and tasty, full of flavor, and they were nice and hot. No dipping sauce to accompany which honestly they didn't need; a little dip in soy sauce was perfect. While waiting for our entrees, she brought another order of dumplings; apparently someone in the kitchen made a second batch. She offered them to us on the house and we happily took them to go (making sure to tip accordingly!). The Korean fried chicken was FANTASTIC. Hot, crispy, juicy chicken, just bursting with flavor. We got a full order so we could enjoy leftovers tomorrow to go with our dumplings. The beef bulgogi was also delicious; perfectly flavored, generous portion, with crispy vegetables, tender noodles, and rice on the bottom. My shrimp bowl was ginger heaven I was so happy that I had stopped. My son gave me a piece of his chicken to try unbelievably delicious My husband even tried and liked it . He never tries new things. Oh, and their website is and has always been broken so it's been difficult to figure out their menu/offerings. But, now they're on DoorDash and I can tell you, their food is GOOD! Sushi bowl is great. Comes with some cool bonus items. Korean Fried Chicken is also very good. It's boneless chicken thighs tempura battered and lightly sauced. We only had the soy garlic and it was comparable to BonChon. Spicy pork bulgogi is dead on! Comes with rice, some nice noodles and some shredded cabbage/onions. Generous portion. The food was outstanding- great quality, flavors, and portion sizes. We tried the beef bulgolgi bowl for $18 it was huge. Enough for us both to have some for dinner later as well. My daughters avocado sushi rolls were fresh and perfect. My spicy tuna avocado roll was delicious!! I tried the tuna onigiri for the first time and it was really good. I read about this place on Facebook in a community post. Simone posted a menu and I am always willing to try a new place. Especially one that has Korean food. So I suggested to my 11 yr that we head there on our day off. We arrived and parked in the back lot. It's a small store front and looked to have been renovated recently. Some things were sitting around outside that were odd, mower, tools etc, but it's one of those nit picking things on my part. They had a nice sign on the top of the building with a logo, but I missed getting the picture. Maybe next time. We came in through the back and there was some light jazz music playing. A young woman was eating some sushi as we walked in to the front. We were greeted by two women and a man and we were told to please sit down. We took our menus and sat down. The young woman who was eating sushi ended up being our waitress. She got us some water, but never introduced herself or asked if we had any questions. However, we were good with the menus and proceeded to order. We were going to order Miso soup, but were told we got that complimentary. Which we did along with a sesame salad (?). The soup was a small cup and a small salad to start. The soup was good. A classic Miso, the salad was okay for a little start. We ordered the fried mandu dumplings and they came out piping hot. Fantastic flavor and perfectly cooked. My sons California roll came out and he started munching away. We talked later and he said it was good, just not what he was used to. It was missing, according to him, mayonnaise. I am not an expert and he isn't either but it's just something he is used to or was expecting. Our main dishes came out. His was the shrimp ramyun (ramen) and I got the Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken. He loved the ramen and said it was really good. He didn't like the bean sprouts, but other than that he liked the spicy esa of it and the overall flavor. The chicken was excellent. The crispiest chicken I have ever had. It was moist inside and the flavor was awesome. It was just the right amount of chicken too. Only complaint was the way the chicken was cut. It was hard to eat a couple pieces since the pieces were not whole pieces but rather cut pieces. Aka, the back was cut so the sizes were more uniform. No doubt for ease of cooking the pieces to uniformity. But in the future I am thinking I would do boneless to get all the meat with all the flavor. Overall it was q great first meal. We enjoyed the food, the ambiance is what you expect from a small family run place. The music was nice, just a few touch ups to make it even nicer. The decor was spot on, but the cleaning stuff and some things left out would be better if hidden. The service overall was decent. For a long time Korean food has been nearly non-existent in the Lancaster area. We do have an establishment here that has been around for a long time but that has been the only option until recently. Korean items are starting to show up on other restaurants menus and I am excited to see this development as Korean cuisine is something that I've been asking and wanting to be more prevalent in this area. Recently I discovered Jino Sushi which is about 35 minutes of a drive from where I live. But once I discovered that they had an entire page dedicated to Korean menu items I knew that I had to give it a try. I am very glad that I did. The restaurant is small but pack some mighty punch with its offerings. My opted for dine-in service and although it took quite some time for all my menu items to be brought to the table I feel that the way it was worth it. I ordered a roll, which I did not get a picture of because I dug right in and by the time I thought about taking a picture it was already gone. I also ordered the fried Mandu and the soy garlic Korean fried Chicken. The role itself was very sizeable, some may even call it huge, and it was very good and fresh. The Mandu we're not exactly what I was expecting although they were still good. I thought I was going to get pan fried dumplings but rather these seemed to be battered and deep fried? Not sure but again not disappointed at all. And lastly the Korean fried Chicken came to the table. You have the option of ordering a half order or full order, I got the half order. The picture I took is very deceiving as it looks like there's not really that much chicken there at all but let me tell you I was not even able to finish it and I had to take it home with me. Super crispy, huge juicy chunks of chicken and combined with the slaw it really was out of this world. I was happy to see that it appeared to be Korean staff in the kitchen. Additionally, a table of four elderly Korean women also ate in the restaurant the same time and we're ordering Korean dishes specifically. Ordered takeout from this place within an hour of them closing. I got the Bulgogi Ramyun, which from looking at pictures, I expected it to be a noodle soup dish, like typical Ramen. I was very wrong. At first I thought they gave me the wrong order as my fiances order looked the exact same and he ordered a bulgogi bowl. I was honestly disappointed and not expecting mine to look the way it did, it mightve been cause we got takeout, but I was expecting different based on the pictures. I didn't think I would like it. I tried a few bites, and it's actually very good. It's a large portion and I wasn't able to eat it so, so it's enough for two meals. Each of our meals consisted of the same ingredients; white sticky rise, some beef/pork, fried onions and cabbage and some weird little noodles I've never seen before. Honestly, the food was delicious and very good but I feel deceived. I'm disappointed that it wasn't a noodle dish as I expected, but it was still good. Their California roll is nothing special and looks like it came from giant, but was still good. Overall, we would eat here again but I'm very confused by the menu cause my dish was under the noodle section and did not look like other reviewers pictures.
