It was nowhere in the environs of my house. The order was cancelled and "couldn't be reordered," though first I was told a new order would be here in 33 minutes. My money was refunded, but after waiting 1 hour 45 minutes I had no dinner... the poor telephone agent said "have a wonderful evening," Ha! Not likely. read more

I order vegetable lo mein with chicken which is always delicious, and vegetable egg foo young, 3 large pieces and a container of sauce to go with, which was really good, dont no how it was made ,usually yah get brown gravey but this was thinner and very flavorful. read more

Food is garbage. The oil is very old and you can taste something if off. Lo mein had a terrible taste, and the soup was inedible. How do you mess up rice soup? It was this strange highlighter yellow color. read more

With my orders of noodles, ordered fried rice. My order arrived but only the hard fried prepackaged rice came with it. I gave the driver a full tip & review. I then send a complaint to DoorDash. Nothing happened. I then ordered another fried rice & I got another bag of crunchy pieces. I filed another complaint. Just then an answer on the first complaint came back denied. Then the second complaint was also denied. I believe DoorDash made the decision so I'm not going to order through DoorDash for a while. read more

This is our go-to Chinese delivery place. It has good 'American Chinese' and speedy delivery. I have eaten a wide variety of items on the menu but particularly like their fried pork dumplings, egg rolls, beef and snow peas, egg drop wonton soup, egg rolls and general Tso's chicken. The kids love all their fried rice and lo mein dishes. I don't know if I would order anything too 'fancy' but for all the basics they are solid. I have tried their chow fun noodle dishes several times and would not recommend those. The noodles always come stuck together in a clump. Their spare ribs are usually super meaty and tasty too. If you need a Chinese delivery fix, their prices are good, food is tasty and service is fast. Just be sure to give them your credit card info over the phone to make the delivery seamless--- and call direct since they have their own delivery crew. No need for grub hub up charges! read more

I called in my order. They asked me to hold. Then, I placed my order. Upon my arrival the girl at the counter was very rude. There was no pleasant greeting. The first thing she said rudely was did you call in your order. A simple "Hello how can I help you " would have been the proper statement to a customer. So I proceeded to give her my number. She told me my total and I gave her my card in her hand. This chick placed my card on the counter instead of giving it back in my hand. That was rude as hell. If a customer gives you a card or cash in the cashiers hand it should be returned in the customers hand. She even placed the receipt for me to sign and a pen on the counter without saying " Can you please sign this receipt". At that moment I was getting pissed. She walked away looked for my order it wasn't ready yet. Then instead of her telling me my order wasnt ready she answered the phone like I wasn't there. I got even more upset. Then, I moved away from the counter until my order became available. I stood behind a lady that just walked in right after me that was waiting for her food as well. The guy that was bagging the food proceeded to ask her if he could help her. She gave him her number he grabbed her bag a gave it to her. He then totally ignored me until I spoke to him told him the bag that he just bagged up before assisting the lady was mine. I knew it was mine because I say the rude chick place my ticket down on the bagging counter. He didn't say anything to me and had an attitude because I asked for soy sauce , duck sauce and hot mustard. So I told him I wanted more soy sauce and mustard since he only originally gave me 2 soy sauce, 2 duck sauce and 1 mustard packet. Then he really had a attitude and gave me 2 more soy sauce packets, 1 duck sauce and 1 mustard packet. These people are either racist or homophobic because this is not the 1st time I noticed this rude customer service. I only gave them another chance because people do at times have bad days. This is my favorite Chinese food delivery place in Lancaster. They are up Columbia Ave at Stone Mill Plaza, but I've never had a problem getting them to deliver in town or at F&M (I think they also deliver to Millersville University). Their Chicken w/ Broccoli is awesome, and I love their fried rice... shrimp rolls too! I also haven't had any complaints from the people I've introduced to it. Frankly when I first moved to Lancaster I tried a lot of Chinese food restaurants, but this was the only delivery place I really liked. I still have the menus from the other ones, but in the last 5 years I haven't had a reason to look for a switch. Sure while I'm out on an errand I might try somewhere else, but I haven't found a place yet that beats Oriental. Same prices as everywhere else, but I feel the quality is much better. And while I wouldn't tell you to go there to eat-in, it is very clean. Not one of those hole in the wall type of takeout spots, and I feel a lot better knowing my food was prepared somewhere I'd actually step foot in. I often stop in to pick up an order, but the delivery is always quick, and the drivers are always friendly. It's mildly embarrassing that they know me, and if they see me at the store they'll often tell me how they were just by my house. But that lets you know that I order from there a lot, and that's because it's delicious. My only complaint is that about half of the time they forget my chopsticks when I ask for them, but I'll usually order extras so that I'm always covered. read more

Been coming here for years. The prices have gone up, and I do not eat there as much. But it is one of the best places for Chinese food that I have eaten in Lancaster or anywhere. There is another Chinese place in Lancaster that is equally better. Everything I tried I liked. Carry out is an option, and they came on time when I opted for delivery. If you live in Lancaster and in the mood for Chinese Delivery, this place is pretty decent. It's the same price as 88 Chinese Express and Oriental Chinese Restaurant are MUCH NICER people than 88 Chinese Express. Some notable differences: 1. Oriental Chinese does not make you walk to their delivery driver's car to get your food. 88 Does. 2. Oriental Chinese does not yell at you if they feel the tip isn't enough. 88 will. You will have no issues tipping Oriental Chinese because they are fast and courteous...at 88 Chinese express you probably will end up not tipping them because of their service and driver laziness. 3. Oriental Chinese tastes better. Yeah they both are soaking in MSGs and other nasty stuff but in terms of the evils, Oriental just tastes better. read more

I ordered from Oriental this Memorial Day weekend for my wife's birthday dinner. I know! It is nothing fancy but the wife has been talking about Chinese for the last couple of weeks (hint! hint!). Of course, I went with our old reliable dishes Beef and broccoli Kung Pao chicken w/peanuts Sesame beef Maybe it was because we have not had Chinese (and only from Oriental!) in a while, but I think each dish was sooooo damn good !!! They had it delivered to our part of the city and I was able to have the delicious food on our table to surprise the wife. I am not an employee or family member singing fake praises. Went there last Sunday for dinner and it was just okay. The food isn't great but it's not terrible either. I've had way better chinese food for the same price. A little too sugary for my taste. Their customer service is pretty poor, I barely got a 'hello' out of the girl who rung me out let alone a 'have a nice day' or any sort of sign that she was appreciative of the business. It's good for a quick pick up but I think I'm going to try and find another similar place with better food next time I want chinese take out and I suggest everyone else do the same. read more

The very best fried rice I have ever had! Egg roll was cooked perfect without excessive oil. Lunch special was very filling with enough food for 2 meals and was very reasonable priced. I absolutely LOVE this chinese place. Best delivery/take out I've had so far in the area. The food is always exactly as I order, and super fresh and delicious. They're generous with condiments, and with helpings. The $7.55 combos last me two meals which is awesome. Their egg rolls are delicious, and I can't ever pass up the ride rice, lo mien, or shrimp with broccoli. The only negative encounters i'd ever had were when I called the night before easter at 8, ordered my food, and was told the wait would be 1 hour and 40 minutes. I ordered lo mien and dumplings, so I couldn't fathom why, also when I ordered last, the person I gave my order to hung up before I could tell her I wanted to pay with my debit card.
