The food was ok, not great but as expected for a diner. We visited several times - we really wanted to like this place as it is close to home - and each time the waitstaff seemed annoyed with our very presence. Having worked in restaurants and retail during college, we are about the most easy-going customers ever. We always tip well and don't ask for much. They place is so dirty. Very expensive for breakfast and the food is either cold or burnt. I would not recommend it.

The food is typical diner breakfast fare, but they do have a specials board as you enter. Prices are quite reasonable, as I recall most meals are $5.50 - $6.50 with coffee being just $.75. The bad part of it is that the place is pretty much a dive. The vinyl-covered seats are split with the stuffing showing. The place is not as spotless as it could be and it could use an overhaul, though I guess if they did that then they would need to raise the prices. read more

Best breakfast in berks - we drive 20 minutes every Saturday to go to Chatty s for breakfast. Very reasonably priced and the food is amazing!! Portions are plentiful - we always end up taking boxes and eating the rest for lunch. The inside is somewhat of a kewl dive (Hard to describe) but the people are as awesome as the food. read more

Great breakfast.....I had the bacon and cheese omelet and it was not just chopped up pieces of bacon, it was loaded with slices of bacon. Wife had the pancakes and they were thick and fluffy. Also shared the fruit cup and it was also great. Took an order of pancakes and bacon home for my son... My wife and I went for breakfast on a snowy Friday morning. I had the special " Eggs Benedict " the eggs were under cooked and Pretty runny for my liking. The hash brown were really oily and starchy.. My ice tea was nothing great. I would of gave it a 2 1/2 -5...One point for quick service and One point for the waitress she was very friendly. 1/2 point for the food. My wife had sunny side up eggs, hash browns and bacon. Her eggs were cooked correct and the bacon was really crispy just the way she likes it. She agrees with me on the hash browns soggy, oily and starchy.. Her coffee was bitter like it was on the burner for awhile.. Pricing wasn't bad around $15 dollars.. The menu and whole place in general was a little run down. read more

My boyfriend and I went here and we not only found the place to have a cute look to it, but the prices were pretty great. I ordered a hot apple waffle with whipped cream on it and a side of hash browns. My boyfriend got the western omelette. And all of it was very good. I've eaten here several times. The food, and service meets expectations. Where this establishment can improve lies in communication. I attempted to eat here on a Monday during the summer but found it closed. I called during business hours and the phone went unanswered, then I checked different sites to confirm hours. Called and tried to place a takeout order. They did not pick up and I needed to drive there and order. I was told that they do not answer phones because they are busy... Bs... Not packed at all. When I finally got my food and drove home I realized that they cracked a raw egg over the food most likely because I bitched about them not answering their phones. I will never go back.
