First things first, I'm not a big sweets person. BUT if you have a fresh glazed donut, I most likely won't turn it down. Klassic Doughnuts was parked at Farmhouse when I went to grab a morning coffee. The smell of the fresh donuts being made, and the flavors in the air ... I knew it had to grab one. The line wasn't long at all, but once I was taken care of, there was about 10 people behind me! They are a popular food truck for sure! When I got to the counter, I saw they had a lemon glazed, as well as an original glazed and cinnamon sugar. I went with the lemon to try something new! You can order the donuts by singles, a half dozen or a dozen. Good to know if I ever want to bring some to friends! The donut was perfectly glazed and full of lemon flavor. You could taste the zest in every bite. A little on the tart side, but if you like lemon, you'd love it. The donut itself was light and airy, not too sweet and incredibly tasty. I look forward to finding them at a farmers market and trying their other flavors!

I stopped by the East Beach Farmer's market a few weeks ago to pick up some items. I ended up stopping a the Klassic Donut food truck this time. The staff member that took my order quickly. My order was ready in less than a minute. I took the donuts home and every single one of them were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back for a sweet treat soon!

Just amazing. These are some of the best donuts in the 757. They are made fresh. The line maybe long but it is worth the wait. The service is so friendly. It Is a food truck so you are sure to find it somewhere convenient.

If you've never seen a donut shop with an almost perfect 5.0 rating even after years on Yelp, you know this one must be special! Klassic donuts are the best donuts to be found in the area, and thats why they have an almost cult-like following on social media. They're made and sold from a food truck, not a storefront so you'll have to suss them out on instagram or facebook. We hunt them down and faithfully stand in line, and oh there WILL be a line. It's fine. It's worth it. Everyone in it will be in a pre-donut high mood and I promise, you'll barely even mind. Every week they offer a traditional glazed, a cinnamon and sugar, and a flavor of the week. You can find the flavor of the week on their socials. This week's was blueberry which was absolutely delicious.... although my favorite will forever be lemon!

They have the best doughnuts. Even with long lines, it moves at a good pace. The service is great and you receive your order quickly. I love the different weekly flavors they offer. I got the strawberry this week and it was great!! Definitely a local gem!!

I've been craving their donuts since it's been 3 years since I've been back. Arrived on a Friday morning roughly around 9am and not a long line at all. Got a 6 pack to share and still had well over two donuts left to spare. Donuts were delicious and best when fresh. Got the special pumpkin spice glazed and the cinnamon. Price went up to $13, but seems fitting given the donuts are fairly large. Perfect spot, but always miss the turn at the brewery. Gotta keep your eyes peeled for the boat so you don't miss your turn.

If you like doughnuts, you'll love Klassic Doughnuts. Be forewarned, there will be a line. I promise it's worth it. To find where this business will be located, I would recommend following them on social media. I went to them at the VB farmer's market off of Dam Neck road. I waited about 30 minutes in line, but I knew it would be worth it. They have three flavors: glazed, cinnamon sugar, and the flavor of the week (this week was lemon glazed). I ordered 8 (four glazed and four cinnamon sugar). They are sooo delicious and gigantic (for a doughnut). One tip, if you pay with cash, you don't pay the tax. Thankfully I had cash on me.

The line WILL be long, but it is long for a reason. For a while I would disregard trying these doughnuts because I did not want to wait in the line at the Farmer's Market until one day I just decided why not? I can honestly say these doughnuts are delicious and everyone I've had try them loves them. They are big, aren't too sweet and I love how the glaze hardens on them. My favorites are Coffee Glazed and Peach Cardamom. The classic flavor is also a great standard option. They are made fresh and hand dipped right on the truck which you can attain visual of when you wait in line . I am not a fan of their cinnamon sugar doughnut I like that one the least. I also have tried the lemon which I feel is a bit too tangy. I like that they post their menu weekly, so you know ahead of time if you want to make the trip to pull up and wait wherever they are posted. The staff is also very kind and works very diligently. I recommend trying these doughnuts if you have not.

This weekend bought a whole bunch for my coworkers to try (for the second time)!

If you're reading this and wondering whether it's worth waiting in line to grab a dozen on your first try -- the answer is a resounding YES! Their lines are long FOR A REASON. They have a cult following FOR A REASON. People (myself included) drive 24-30 minutes out of the way to get these donuts FOR A REASON. The first time I tried their donuts was with my husband. There were about 15 people ahead of us, but we only waited about 10-15 minutes in line TOTAL (very fast service & nice people, too). We only ordered one (yes, ONE) original glazed donut just to try. It literally took them just seconds to get it to us. It was warm and smelled sweet and savory at the same time. As soon as we got in the car, we started up the car and I took the first bite. I instantly looked at my husband with regret written all over my face. THAT FIRST BITE WAS THE TRUTH. The donut was warm, had a nice thin crisp/bite to it and just the most moist, melt in your mouth, flavorful donut I have ever had in my life. He took a bite and about forgot his whole name. We were on our way to a restaurant, so we couldn't go back in line anymore, BEST BELIEVE. I came back the next weekend, tracked them down & bought a dozen. I bought some for my family, friends and co-workers and they are all obsessed. I've been in that line 5x now within the last 3 weeks. We just can't get ENOUGH of Klassic Doughnuts! Don't waste your time thinking or second guessing anymore or wasting precious opportunities--just go. Lol.

Line was long but totally understandable. These donuts are so good. I got a dozen for roughly 30 dollars and tip. Definitely recommend trying them.

The donuts were fresh made they were still warm when they arrived to the office!! The warm cinnamon cake donut was delicious!! Everyone that had one said WOW these are so big, and they were so good!! Don't you worry I will be stopping by very soon to pick up some more to share with my coworkers!

After attending a birthday party and running errands all morning, we arrived at Big Ugly starving. I immediately jumped in line for FF when we arrived. - TLC - There was a woman cooking the food and a guy handling the orders. They were extremely busy as they were the only food option at the time, but the guy was still courteous. Despite the high traffic, my order was ready in 15 minutes, as promised. - Noms - The menu is simple and consists of various combos of a handful of items. This was great, because I was able to try most of their items in a few orders. I ordered: #1 - Pancit, Teriyaki Chicken, Lumpia #4 - Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Lumpia A la carte order of Pancit Bottle of water Pancit - good. Teriyaki Chicken - sauce was thick and concentrated, good flavor. Lumpia - great size, packed with filling and made to order (could have had 10 of those alone) Fried Rice - I think with the amount of traffic that day due to the event, she was trying to make big batches quickly and the soy sauce didn't distribute evenly, so I had patches of both white and fried rice. It was still good. Orange Chicken - good flavor. They were big chunks of chicken with minimal breading, which I appreciate. Overall, the food was fresh and the portions were generous. Two combos and a side order of pancit fed our family (and my school age children don't eat like birds either). Note about my pics: my fam tore up the food before I could even say "Wait!", so the pics are not a true depiction of how much food and how it was served. FF shut down shortly after we finished our meals. I overheard someone saying that FF had brought 6x the amount of food they normally bring and they sold out in a few hours! Good problem to have! I wonder if FF is on a regular rotation at Big Ugly Brewing, but I will definitely be on the look out for them again! Stay safe, Friends!

This day I was fixated on food truck chasing so, I did and was very pleased. Four of my co-workers caught wind of my plans and followed suite. Not sure how location and placement are determined. This was a Thursday. Location was Lake Wright Drive tucked away in a GATED parking lot. I found out later all of my co-workers had difficulty finding food truck too but, still worth it! I ordered the Tripleta to go. It came with chips. I normally like VERY spicy food. This wasn't spicy but, I LOVVED IT! A lot of flavors and A LOT of TENDER meat! I'm thinking the tortillas had to be homemade as they were not like any tortilla I've ever had! THREE meats... Chicken, pork, and ham. The slaw was made perfect! Not too sweet nor too tangy. This dish was perfect! All of my co-workers were so happy with their dishes too! Two ordered the pernil & empanadas. Another ordered the Cubano. Now, I know I saw a pic of the Cubano w/ bread. This time it was served w/ a tortilla. My co-worker wished it was on bread too but, said it was still verrrrry good! Gotta stalk Sofrito more as there are other menu items I want to try! Kudos!!

They have only been operating for a month now, this was their third brewery appearance. For appetizers they have a buffalo chicken dip and pimento cheese nacho- talk about solid brewery apps! Most of their menu items are types of wraps. Their special was chicken fajita tacos (Cinco de Mayo celebration) and for dessert they had a crispy ice cream sandwich. One unique thing that I don't see many food trucks do, is they offer kids menu items as well! Again- it is just their third day- this could all be totally different once they are more established and have tried different things. I opted to get the ice cream sandwich, because I'm a total sucker for dessert. I ate this first. Two crispy shells with a cinnamon sugar mix and if I'm not wrong it possibly a second seasoning that had a little kick to it. Maybe it was a touch of cayenne? Definitely not strong or overpowering in spice, just a little something to make it interesting. In the middle was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The vanilla was complimented by the cinnamon and the chocolate was complimented by whatever that other ingredient was. I was definitely a fan! The more I ate the more I wanted more! I also got the chicken fajita taco special. I should point out that if I didn't go for the food truck option at Smartmouth I was headed to my favorite taco spot in VB. Maybe it was the unintentional comparison of the authentic street taco from my favorite spot, but these tacos fell a little flat for me. Not letting it really affect my review, because I did eat dessert first and then I messed around taking pictures before getting to them. It might be a "it's not you, it's me" thing with the tacos- I'll own this one. The tacos were served with a side of corn on the cob. It had a lemon cilantro butter which was fantastic! I'll definitely be craving that corn again sometime! The prices were on the lower-side of average for the food truck scene in Hampton Roads. Prices are another thing that might change as they are in business longer. They were also extra friendly from the moment I stepped up to the truck! Offering me whatever I needed and even getting out of the truck to come ask me a question of convenience, not necessity. I know several spots that would have just shouted it or not even bothered. So far so good! I hope they keep popping up at Smartmouth VB so I can try more of their menu and see how they change things up as they get a few more months of operation behind them! I'll definitely be updating as I try more! Next time I'm definitely going for the pimento cheese nachos!
