Klassic donuts is a must have, it's very consistent and delicious and the kiddos always love it. My fav is the glazed, I like it simply with no fuss.
I was driving past the farmer's market and saw the Klassic Donut truck, so I had to stop by. We busting U-turns!! Lol. The line was definitely lining! Which is nothing new, but it moves pretty quickly. I'm a talker so I'll always find someone to talk to while waiting to make the time go by faster. Their flavor schedule changes, so follow them on Facebook. This week they had cinnamon sugar, klassic glazed, and strawberry. I got glazed and strawberry. I got a dozen last time and realized the texture changes after the first day. You can pop them in the microwave, but it'll never be the same as the fresh ones because they thicken up. So I highly recommend eating some before you even get out of the parking lot to get the best melt in your mouth experience!! The glazed is one of my favorite. It's a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It sincerely melts in your mouth. They're also pretty big, and while waiting you can see them making the donuts, with the glaze dripping off. It's exciting to get to the front after waiting in line. The strawberry one was good, but not better than the original glazed. I can't wait to try the lemon one. The staff is always friendly and they keep the line moving!! You can also preorder to skip the line. If you see them, I absolutely recommend stopping to try at least 1. You won't regret it. Lol. Check them out!!!
If you've never had a Klassic Doughnut, you are missing out! They have several food trucks around the Hampton Roads area, but you can usually follow their schedule to find one near you. Their doughnuts are no lie--almost as big as your face, and honestly, they are about the same price as the big donut chains. They always are made fresh and have never disappointed. Their staff is always friendly and polite. You will almost always find a line waiting to get them, but they churn these things out pretty quickly. Highly recommend you find a location near you soon and get some!
The lady who took my order was efficient and boxed up my doughnuts quickly. They do offer a small cash discount which was appreciated. The line was long so I waited about 45mins but it was worth the wait. Went to the farmers market location and the truck was easy to spot. The weekly flavor was strawberry glazed and it was to die for. Tasted super fresh and warm. The glazed was great too!
First things first, I'm not a big sweets person. BUT if you have a fresh glazed donut, I most likely won't turn it down. Klassic Doughnuts was parked at Farmhouse when I went to grab a morning coffee. The smell of the fresh donuts being made, and the flavors in the air ... I knew it had to grab one. The line wasn't long at all, but once I was taken care of, there was about 10 people behind me! They are a popular food truck for sure! When I got to the counter, I saw they had a lemon glazed, as well as an original glazed and cinnamon sugar. I went with the lemon to try something new! You can order the donuts by singles, a half dozen or a dozen. Good to know if I ever want to bring some to friends! The donut was perfectly glazed and full of lemon flavor. You could taste the zest in every bite. A little on the tart side, but if you like lemon, you'd love it. The donut itself was light and airy, not too sweet and incredibly tasty. I look forward to finding them at a farmers market and trying their other flavors!
I stopped by the East Beach Farmer's market a few weeks ago to pick up some items. I ended up stopping a the Klassic Donut food truck this time. The staff member that took my order quickly. My order was ready in less than a minute. I took the donuts home and every single one of them were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back for a sweet treat soon!
Just amazing. These are some of the best donuts in the 757. They are made fresh. The line maybe long but it is worth the wait. The service is so friendly. It Is a food truck so you are sure to find it somewhere convenient.
If you've never seen a donut shop with an almost perfect 5.0 rating even after years on Yelp, you know this one must be special! Klassic donuts are the best donuts to be found in the area, and thats why they have an almost cult-like following on social media. They're made and sold from a food truck, not a storefront so you'll have to suss them out on instagram or facebook. We hunt them down and faithfully stand in line, and oh there WILL be a line. It's fine. It's worth it. Everyone in it will be in a pre-donut high mood and I promise, you'll barely even mind. Every week they offer a traditional glazed, a cinnamon and sugar, and a flavor of the week. You can find the flavor of the week on their socials. This week's was blueberry which was absolutely delicious.... although my favorite will forever be lemon!
They have the best doughnuts. Even with long lines, it moves at a good pace. The service is great and you receive your order quickly. I love the different weekly flavors they offer. I got the strawberry this week and it was great!! Definitely a local gem!!
I've been craving their donuts since it's been 3 years since I've been back. Arrived on a Friday morning roughly around 9am and not a long line at all. Got a 6 pack to share and still had well over two donuts left to spare. Donuts were delicious and best when fresh. Got the special pumpkin spice glazed and the cinnamon. Price went up to $13, but seems fitting given the donuts are fairly large. Perfect spot, but always miss the turn at the brewery. Gotta keep your eyes peeled for the boat so you don't miss your turn.
They come to the East Beach Farmers market every Saturday. If you don't get there early you can expect to wait in a line. It's worth it though! They work incredibly fast in the food truck so the line does move. Their classics are cinnamon sugar, glazed, and then a flavor of the week. While they are all good, the glazed is by far our favorite. Especially when it's hot! There isn't another donut in town that beats them for best donut. read more
Delicious donuts! I'm not a big donut fan, but these were definitely some of the best I've ever had. The traditional glazed was our favorite, but the cinnamon sugar was also delicious. Their flavor of the day wasn't impressive, neither of us liked it. I can't remember exactly what it was but something with orange. read more
The donuts from Klassic Doughnuts are ALWAYS a hit! I may or may not have stood in line for a whole hour at the East Beach farmers market for a singular strawberry glazed donut. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Their strawberry glazed donut is probably my favorite so far, but you can never go wrong with their regular glazed donut. Not super crazy about their cinnamon sugar donut, but that's just more of a personal preference. Give these a try and you'll thank me later! read more
Finally had the chance to try them out after hearing all the buzz around this business!! They are at the East Beach Farmer's market on Saturdays. It wasn't hard to miss them because they had the longest line, but it did go fast. They serve the yeast kind of donuts which is my absolute fav!!! Today they had a special flavor which was strawberry glazed. I just got the regular glazed donut and one without the glazed. They were accommodating enough to give me a donut that hadn't been glazed. But I'll be back for the strawberry one soon!! The donut was hot and such a delicious treat!! Way better than you you know who... you know the one you bust a U-Turn for when you see the the lights come on! Yeah that one! Recently, my family and I were out in Virginia Beach on a rainy Saturday, looking for something to do.We stumbled upon an outdoor farmers market and craft fair. In the center, was a long line of people patiently waiting in line to purchase from the smiling people at Klassic Doughnuts. That day, when I got the the front of the line- the first time, I bought one of each type of doughnut, took a bite, shared the others with my family- then we go back in line a bought a dozen. Since then, getting more doughnuts , specifically the cinnamon and sugar doughnuts has become an obsession and we keep going back to enjoy these great doughnuts! Please join the line, try a doughnut or three, along with the other many satisfied customers who enjoy this local delicacy! read more

Special am trip to OV Farmers market (Norfolk E Beach) on a 90+ degree Sat, yet the line was wrapped around the site like they were giving away air conditioners; that def raised expectations. Aimed to get 4 but bought a dozen to reward my patience. These sweet treats "ain't for the weak!" Donuts are ginormous, each as big or bigger than my hand. Glazed, Cinnamon sugar, and blueberry (seasonal) were all fantastic; bb was a sticky glaze, a tad messy to eat, unless you're ghetto like me and don't mind licking your fingers. Their business card states "yeast donuts," but when eaten fresh, they have the sensation of eating a cake donut: slight crunch on the outside, warm/soft inside. Yummy goodness all the way down in my belly! I'm a ride or die Boston Cream donut fanatic yet Klassic D's varieties are definitely worth the try. Above avg price is offset by quality and size. Interestingly, donuts are scavenged in our house, yet 3-4 somehow survived 3 days later. Kids did note they're 100x better when eaten on purchase say. Cash and cc accepted; paying cash avoids tax charge. read more

I saw Klassic Doughnuts on Instagram and knew I had to find them! I found them at a farmers market. Klassic posts a lot on their Instagram page. They will post their schedule and their menu for the week. I went once to a location where they had lemon glaze and chocolate covered. Both were scrumptious! The donuts are for sure best when they are hot and fresh! I also like the lemonade they serve. Totally worth it. The doughnuts are large! Pricing is very reasonable and worth every penny. The staff, which I assume is a family owned business are so helpful, patient, kind and very hardworking! You have to try them atleast once! read more
Klassic Doughnuts are the truth, and that's just that on that! Just so you know, they specialize in hand-rolled and hand-dipped yeast doughnuts. They make them on-site and they are so fresh; furthermore, it's also really cool to watch the doughnuts being made on the truck through the window. When I went during the Virginia Beach Farmer's Market last weekend they had original glazed, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate-dipped. I got a chocolate-dipped for myself and dropped off a half dozen of three glazed and three cinnamon sugar for my parents. I'm going to tell ya'll that the chocolate-dipped SLAPPED! Baby that was straight up Ghirardelli dipped on top of that doughnut; the good stuff! My parents also txt me that the doughnuts were absolutely delicious after they tried them. Overall I'm lowkey beating myself up because I haven't tried these delicious doughnuts sooner, but I can't change the past, just prepare for the future, and Klassic Doughnuts will very much be a part of my future. read more

When I tell you these are THE BEST donut I've ever had, it's not an exaggeration. They are not only the best donuts, but the best sweet treat. They're worth the hour long wait, even if you're just going to get one or two. I think I'm obsessed & I know I definitely have a problem. They'll change your life, guaranteed. The original glazed, fresh & warm, cannot be beat. The staff & owners are also so inviting & friendly, truly a wonder. 12/10. read more

Driving from a different direction to my next school that morning I finally saw the truck and NO LINE! So I made a pit stop and so glad I did. I bought 6 doughnuts 2 of every flavor. Flavor of the week is coffee glazed, then cinnamon sugar. And regular glazed. Now that I have seen the truck on those mornings, when I see they sell the blueberry glazed I'm stopping! I follow them on IG and many of my friends have eaten their doughnuts but I had not had the chance to have it myself. If you like cake doughnuts, omg these are the ones for you! Family owned and run, different follow their IG for their story. The coffee glaze was sweet with a bit of a bbitter aftertaste from the coffee so although good not my favorite. But then I'm not a huge coffee drinker anyway. Cinnamon sugar was good too. Good balance of the Cinnamon to the sugar but, purely personal preference, it's messy so I don't like eating them. Trust because if that was the only flavor I would get over the messy and eat it. But since I have choices, that's not my top. But the glazed!? Yall its like (to me) cream cheese frosting was melted and the doughnut took a bath. YUM! It was sweet and thick and the doughnut it slim in terms of dough but made ito a beautiful big ring of deliciousness. I'm glad I only got 2 of each and I'll be eating them over 2-3 days because if it were all glazed? Food coma for sure. Prices are not bad considering the size. I bought six with cash so I only paid 13.75. If you pay with credit card they add tax to it. Well worth it. I'm excited to try different flavors. And tbh, I would definitely wait in a line for them! read more
9/2022 Hands down, my favorite local doughnut business. I'm so lucky that I live close to one of their regularly scheduled weekly stops. Their doughnuts are super fresh and gigantic! No two doughnuts are shaped the same either! If you follow them on Instagram they announce what their Flavor Of The Week is going to be, usually on Sundays. To be honest, I haven't met a flavor I didn't like. My favorites so far are the coffee glazed, Ghirardelli chocolate dipped*, and most recently the Orange Pineapple glaze. Of course, you can't go wrong with classic Cinnamon Sugar or Original glaze. I've put so many friends & family onto them and now, they won't go anywhere else!! It's worth waiting the long lines if there is one. Pro tip: pay with cash and they take care of the tax. *Last I remember, the Ghirardelli dipped doughnuts cost a dollar extra due to separate packaging and being hand dipped individually. They're soooo frikkin good and so frikkin messy to eat but ugh, heaven. Once again: Worth it. read more

Delicious homemade donuts unlike any I've had before. If you're like me and thing Krispy Kreme is the baseline for a decent glazed donut then you are in luck. Klassic Doughnuts does maybe the best "Klassic" glazed donut I've ever had. Their seasonal options we tried (cinnamon apple at the time) was good but not my favorite style (I love the classic glazed.) Their Instagram seems to be the best place to check their schedule. They're closed for winter and open back up in March. (They're a food truck). read more

Honestly the best doughnuts I have ever had. They make them fresh from scratch at every single pop up they have! You can find their locations on their social media pages (we follow on instagram), but they make it to many of the local farmers' markets. Our personal favorite is the glazed, which is always available along with cinnamon sugar. They are also known to do seasonal flavors like lemon, apple, etc! You're often going to meet at least a little bit of a line, but I assure you, it is ALWAYS worth it. Nothing beats these donuts fresh out of the fryer. (Though they are also good later, too! Go ahead and get a box.) read more

Klassic Doughnuts are amazing! I love this family owned local food truck business. The family is really sweet and they work hard to provide the coastal area with the best doughnuts! I always see them at the East Beach and Talbots Farmers Market with a long line. I don't always grab doughnuts but this Saturday was a doughnut morning kind of day. The long lines usually move by pretty quick. I really appreciated that Klassic Doughnuts provided complimentary waters for customers that were waiting in the long line at the market. It was really hot and this was super nice to keep customers waiting. Klassic Doughnuts are active with there social media (FB, IG) to keep everyone up to date on the food truck schedule and flavors of the week. They always have original glazed and cinnamon sugar doughnuts, with the 3rd flavor changing routinely. I was super excited to try the flavor of this week, which was Peach Cardamom. When I got there, they were sold out so that tells me that flavor was really yummy lol We still got the original glazed and cinnamon sugar doughnuts! Delicious and one of our favorites. These doughnuts are massive...like bigger than your face big. All doughnuts are hand dipped and dried on wooden drying racks. I like that each doughnut has it's own special shape, which makes your experience with each bite a little different. Overall, you have to try Klassic Doughnuts if you have a chance!! read more

Got to the parking lot early enough that the line wasn't long...yet. We waited maybe 10minutes if that. We got half a dozen and ended up begging 3 of each flavor - glazed, cinnamon suga and coffee glaze. They were all so fresh and dove right in once we got them. It was hot and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. It was delicious!!! These donuts are huge too!!! Best. Donuts. Ever. From the very first time, til the millionth time I've visited, it's consistently amazing. The business is owned by a family, and they're super sweet. Their food truck moves throughout the week, depending on the day. They're very good with communicating and letting you know of any schedule changes on their Instagram. Ok, the donuts. This is a place where you don't have to get all fancy to show yourself out. Usually they have their normal flavors, and then a new flavor of the week. They rotate on their flavors. There's cinnamon sugar + glazed (normal ones) and then the flavor of the week (I've seen chocolate glazed, strawberry, blueberry, coffee, pumpkin, etc). Whenever we buy them, there's no way we can wait to get home before eating one. The best when they're fresh. They are HUGE. I can get away with being full after eating only half of one, but since they're so good, I usually finish the entire thing lol. During the harsh winter months, they're closed. But if you ever get the chance to visit them at least once in your lifetime, you BETTER. Or else you'll live with regret. read more

Be ready to wait in line. Totally worth the wait IMO. Every week they have a special donut. I've tried their blueberry and strawberry. While the strawberry donut was good, the blueberry had a more pronounced blueberry flavor, smell, and after taste. My preference is the blueberry. I'd say run don't walk, but everyone has their preference. I do recommended at least trying one of these donuts when you get a chance. read more
It's my first Friday in Coastal VA and I am not wasting any time. Klassic Doughnuts is at Big Ugly Brewing every Friday morning and that's where I planned to be! For the past 4 months, I had heard about Klassic Doughnuts non-stop all the way in GA from Yelp, Instagram and even my own sister-in-law. I could not wait a day longer to sink my sweet teeth into these doughnuts to see what the hype was about. When we arrived, there was already a line of people patiently waiting. We were 11th in line, but the wait wasn't bad at all! The heat in VA is so much more pleasant than in my previous home in GA. I would have waited ALL DAY if needed, but luckily I didn't have to. - The Goods - They always have 2 flavors on the menu: - Glazed: Ok, I gotta admit, when I saw the pics of the Glazed, the coating seemed so thick and crusty. The glaze didn't look translucent, more a thick, white layer of sugar. I thought to myself, Oouf! All my teeth are going to fall off!! (And I'm a sweet tooth. All my teeth are sweet actually). Boy, was I wrong! I tasted a butter component and that is everything! If I didn't have 9 other people to share these doughnuts with, I would have shamelessly eaten them all by myself! So, so good! - Cinnamon Sugar: Cinnamon and Sugar is a classic combo and I thoroughly enjoyed these. They coat them thoroughly and evenly. - Flavor of the Week (06/11/21): Lemon Glazed. I have to say, these were my least favorite, but don't get me wrong, if someone brought me a box of these, I wouldn't let them go to waste. My mother-in-law LOVED these. I'm just not a sour person LOL. Definitely good to try new things and can't wait to try the other FOW! - Pro Tips - *These pillowy, soft bites of pure love are made fresh and are most definitely best enjoyed as soon as you are able to cross the parking lot safely and get in your car. I mean, how can you wait anyway? You have better self control than I. I did sneak another bite later in the morning and although it was still delicious, these doughnuts are best HOT! *Also, these doughnuts are HUGE! Omg yum. I tried them for the first time today at the vb farmer's market on dam neck and princess anne. I was stuck at the Dr office so I sent my mom to wait in line. She said there were like 50 people in front of her and the line kept growing by the second. She enjoyed her line mates and said everyone was really nice around her. She decided to get a dozen, so four of each flavor. Today, they had the glazed, blueberry, and cinnamon sugar. I wanted the blueberry but when I opened the box, the cinnamon sugar called my name first. I chowed down. It was delicious. The donut was soft and there was so much cinnamon sugar, but in the best possible way. I couldn't stop after one, so then I ate the blueberry too. Loved the blueberry. It tasted so fresh and was very blueberry. Just my style. I tried a few bites of the glazed, just for fun. I was full by this point, but I figured I had to at least try it. I don't normally care for glazed donuts but this one was different. The glaze was thick and crusty and oh so yummy. Glazed was my least fav. Not sure if it's because I had already eaten two donuts by this point or not, but I loved the blueberry and cinnamon sugar. Now I know why the line is crazy long. The guy in front of her said the lemon and Ghirardelli chocolate dipped are his favs, alongside the blueberry. I can't wait to try those flavors in the near future. Following Klassic Doughnuts on Instagram was one of the best and worst things I've ever done- it is now almost impossible to escape the temptation of these enormous, hot, fresh, sweet donuts every time I see their daily location posted! Klassic Doughnuts is a food truck traveling to different locations in Hampton Roads. They post their weekly schedule and locations on social media and are consistent about updating it in case of weather or other changes. They serve glazed and cinnamon sugar doughnuts daily, and always have a flavor of the week. There is almost always a long line but it moves quickly and you will not regret the wait. As you stand in line, you'll see hot, fresh donuts being rolled in cinnamon sugar, dipped in sweet, smooth glazes, hanging to dry and then carefully being placed in boxes for each customer's enjoyment. Cinnamon sugar is my absolute favorite. These are totally coated and the slight crunch of the outer coating is perfectly suited to the crisp fried exterior of the donut before you get to the pillow-y soft interior filled with perfect yeast air bubbles. YUM. Their glazed doughnuts are delicious, if a little heavily coated. If you're a fan of a thick, sweet glaze, these are for you! I have tried their special blueberry glaze and the apple flavor they had in the fall. Both captured the essence of those fruity flavors without going overboard on the sweetness. I look forward to trying some of their other special flavors, such as lemon, chocolate-dipped, and espresso glaze! read more

This is a mobile business that is present at various locations throughout the spring/summer/fall seasons. I like to buy from them when they are outside of the Big Ugly Brewing Co. More recently during covid, there have been long line ups every time they've been there. They make all donuts fresh on site, and typically have glazed, and cinnamon sugar. I've also tried their chocolate dipped, and plain. All flavors are great, but my favorite is cinnamon sugar. The donuts are light and fluffy with a slightly crisp exterior. The best texture and are the size of my hand! I can't (and my waistline wouldn't want me to) eat an entire half dozen myself... But because these donuts aren't always accessible, I always buy half a dozen and freeze them. I freeze them when they're still fresh, but cooled so they won't taste stale later. I take it out the night before I want to eat it and they're perfect the next morning. Highly recommend trying these, and following them on Facebook so you know where they will be selling each week. read more

If you're ever nearby a location they're selling at, GO! I can't express how absolutely amazing their donuts are. They not only are family owned and operated, they're so kind and friendly too! The donuts are ABSOLUTELY amazing! They're made fresh as you order, they are always the best quality, and they are HUGE! They do weekly special flavors and they are just as amazing as their glazed and cinnamon sugar ones. I will continually drive 20-30 minutes to catch them when I can! read more
