I'm on a mission to try all the coffee shops in the area that serve Matcha Lattes because it has become my favorite beverage! When I discovered that Cafe Nectar, formerly Glazed & Infuzed, offered Matcha, I couldn't wait to stop in. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and couldn't help but notice how cute this coffee shop is. Everything was pink and it created such a beautiful and fun vibe. Since I stopped in on 8/29, they were celebrating Michael Jackson's birthday and had a special menu available that included a Strawberry Matcha Latte! Yes please lol!!! My drink was ready in no time. I believe they only serve one size because I wasn't asked what size I wanted, but I wasn't complaining! The Latte was absolutely amazing! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. I hate that the Strawberry Matcha Latte isn't on the normal menu because I would order it again in a heartbeat. I guess that just means I have to try their other Matcha flavors lol. I have never tried the donut truck, but Cafe Nectar is now opened and I was pleased to go to the grand opening. Café Nectar is a cute quaint little shop on Virginia Beach Blvd. It is definitely tucked away so keep that in mind when making a visit. We were greeted by a really nice lovely staff. I ordered the Banana Amber. The menu didn't specifically differentiate what the drinks were as far as whether it was a latte or not so I had to kind of confirm that with the person taking my order. I initially requested to order cold foam that was on the menu, but I was told that they didn't have any cold foam so I just got the drink iced as is. I also ordered a blueberry lemon cake as well. Overall they had a solid selection of donut and cake flavors to choose from. My order was done rather quickly and I was second in line. I enjoyed the blueberry lemon cake. It was a large portion and super moist and very yummy. The latte however I was not a fan of. I ordered it iced and there was only a little bit of ice floating up at the top of the drink and there was a lot of milk in the latte. The color of the drink was very light so I was expecting this upon receiving. I was excited to try the drink as the menu stated that the syrups were homemade. It did definitely taste fresh, but the banana syrup seemed to be not sweet enough and and that is coming from someone who likes a really well balanced coffee. I think it could have been sweeter, as well as the banana flavor kind of tasted a bit under ripe/under developed. The owner did end up coming to me a few sips through my drink and asked if I still wanted the cold foam and she whipped some up for me. I tried the cold foam on its own and it just tasted like cream cheese mixed with heavy cream. It wasn't sweetened at all. It was just essentially thick cream which diluted the flavor and sweetness even more. I recommend the shop edit their menu a little bit so it can be clearer for understanding. Also moving towards having a little bit more product available as they did run out of cakes about 10 people into the grand opening. I recommend there be a sign upfront where you turn in pointing to the direction of the café so people are aware that it is there in the cut if that's an option. I know different areas have certain restrictions. Overall, I wish this café the best and I'm sure they'll be able to work some of the kinks out overtime. I think this spot is really cute for a nice stop in for a pick me up and the staff and owner were really nice. read more

Glazed and Infused never disappoints, and I was so excited to see them at COVA for the Mardi Gras celebration. They were serving fresh beignets in three flavors--bourbon sugar, powdered sugar, and cinnamon--and the bourbon sugar was hands down my favorite. It was so good that I ended up going back and ordering more to take home. They were warm, fresh, and perfectly made. If you've never had their donuts, they are easily some of the best around. Everything is made fresh while you wait, and their habanero sugar donuts are still one of my all-time favorites. I was hoping they'd have donuts this time too, but it just gives me a reason to visit them again at one of their other locations. The owner is always incredibly kind and welcoming. She remembered me right away, and it was so nice catching up. They haven't been out as much lately because of the cold weather, so it felt like a treat to finally get my fix again. Honestly, they were one of the main reasons I made sure to stop by. Glazed and Infused is absolutely worth seeking out. I am currently going through a cut phase in my fitness journey. On my first day, I like to do something nice to myself and get something special that isn't gonna reduce my calorie intake. I looked up this cafe and the pictures of this cute little shop, toward the Oceanfront with cute pink and white decorations, to include the merchandise and stories invited me in. I got there and they were having their first rush ever (so happy for them)! I do have some social anxiety, so I made my order and mentioned to the owner, I was a bit anxious and I would be outside. She personally delivered my wonderful botanical tea, with a hug and an offer to sit for spell inside before I left. I did decline, but, I'll be back (when there aren't so many people ). Stopped in this morning after seeing their post about all the delicious goodies they had for sale today. This was our second visit. Our first visit was the weekend they opened. I ordered a coconut cream shaken espresso and my husband got a brown sugar shaken espresso. For food we ordered a breakfast burrito, an apple cider donut, a maple bacon donut and a Nutella pop tart. The burrito was for my husband. He said it was really good. My apple cider donut was so soft and had great flavor. We brought home the maple bacon donut and Nutella pop tart for our kids to share. The staff is so welcoming and bubbly. I asked if I could put in an order in advance for some donuts. A lady from the back came out (I think she's the owner/baker) she said I could which is great! The food truck was in our neighborhood. So we all got together to check them out, and I'm glad we did. The owners are super nice and explained the different options they have. They serve beignets, donuts, cronuts, coffee, and drinks. The prices are awesome! I got beignets with cinnamon sugar, strawberry glazed donuts, and lemon crumble cronuts. 3 donuts are $5 which is pretty good, or 12 for $20. Everything was hot and fresh right out of the grease. They were all crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cronut is my new bestie. Seriously, they were goodt !! Like wow. The only thing I recommend is only get what you can eat right then and there. This isn't a I'll eat it tomorrow kinda situation, because the texture will change. But definitely eating them right away is the best experience!! It's a cute little pink and black food truck, and they post on IG and FB where they'll be located weekly. Oh my goodness, Glazed and Infused was in my mom's neighborhood a few weeks ago. So a couple of us stopped past and baby we were not disappointed. We pull up to this big pink truck filled with so much sweetness inside. The prices were awesome they have doughnuts, cronuts, beignets and more. Where to start lol there are so many great flavors to choose from, but my fav was the lemon cronut. It's this hot fresh buttery pastry rolled in goodness and drizzled with a lemon and regular glaze on top. I went and grabbed a few options lol, because everything looked so good right. So don't get me wrong these-treats are great but... only get what you're going to eat in that moment in time. Because after a little while they change up a bit texture wise. I still love her donuts and can't wait to find them again I just learned my lesson though lol only get two at a time lol. This is a food truck that sets up in different locations. If you visit their website you can see where they will be next. The donuts are amazing and they are always freshly made to order. It doesn't matter which flavor you get, they are all amazing. We were so excited to eat our donuts that I forgot to take a picture but I will next time. They also serve coffee. The owner is so kind and friendly. She greets you with a smile and she's always ready to make your little ones happy with the cutest stickers. Needless to say it's one of my granddaughter's favorite. It's a two for one, an amazing sweet donut and some really cool stickers. I catch them when they set up at the Farmers Market off of Princess Anne and Damn Neck Road.
