My first time here and it was a great experience. I ordered a few different pastries and a drink and everything was great. The employees were so helpful for it being my first time here. I was little lost and they guided me on how everything goes. I will be visiting this location and the Charleston location in the future.

Friendly service in a nice environment with background music. They have an excellent array of pastries both sweet and savory! So don't enter this place if you're counting calories!! I ordered the chocolate hazelnut cruffin with Nutella ($4.99) and the hot latte with Nutella ($4.99).. soooo rich and delicious!!!! Tough day, so here's to rewards!! Cheers!!

The two stars are strictly for the baked goods, those were 10/10. This location needs some crowd control. Everyone piles in and then it's impossible to just grab any baked goods or move around. Also, right where you grab the trays a bakery cart with baked goods to be put out just sat there, uncovered and waiting to be put in the display case for well over 30 minutes while we were there. It's just right in a tight space where everyone passes so I feel like those definitely could've been touched accidentally by people. Someone finally took the cart and rolled it into the back. I also had the worst cup of iced coffee here. I ordered the pretzel iced coffee, which was advertised with cold foam and caramel drizzle and toppings but came with none of that. Also it didn't taste like anything. I would recommend for quickly going in and getting baked goods, but not for anything else.

Paris Baguette is a little gem in Hilltop! This place is in the shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Once inside the decor is bright, fresh and gives very Parisian vibes. The staff is supper friendly and the food even better. I got a cherry and cheese Danish that was flakey, crisp, sweet and a bit gooey. Additionally, I had a Dubai doughnut and a Croisant, all scrumptious! I highly recommend it.

I love Paris Baguette! I walked in and was awed by all of the beautiful and delicious pastries. From sweet to savory, croissants, buns , mochi donuts, Dubai chocolate options etc. it was amazing! Staff is nice, and they are very very busy. Place is packed. There's seating but you're lucky to get a seat. It's okay, because this gave me more time to browse through the pastries. Dining area was cute. The Dubai hot chocolate was excellent !!!

Paris Baguette reminds me of bakeries in Hong Kong, where we grab a set of tong and tray, go pick pastries and breads then pay. Most of the pastries are relatively pricey, especially anything that has "Dubai chocolate" in the pastries' names (I unknowingly picked up a Dubai Chocolate with no price on its name card $9.99 PER PIECE, pretty delicious tho), but some are resonable. I really like the savory pastry options since I'm not always a sweet pastry person, and most places around the area only provide croissant and plain bread, sometimes with cheese or rosemary. Here I've seen a bun with curry or crab filling, and croissant with a sausage in it that reminds me of my home country Hong Kong, and some flatbread with pizza or chicken on top. The Dubai Macchiato I ordered is strong to my liking, but I also learned this Dubai this and that thing is all gimmick cuz all it was was to put some pistachio on or in your food and up charge $2-3. This coffee is no different, the coffee itself is good but they put chocolate sauce and pistachio and some crunchy bites on top of it, which the straw wasn't big enough to pick up anyways and it's not like the coffee has pistachio flavor syrup which I can taste it with my coffee. The service is pretty fast considering the couple time that I went to were pretty packed. The seating area is not too big but it's good for small groups of people to sit and enjoy your pastries. However, the tables we sat on were both wobbly, so hope they'll fix that.

Good atmosphere and great selections. I was happy to find Paris Baguette while running errands. Walking in, the soothing lights shined upon the many delectable selections. From mochi donuts and cakes to croissants and sandwiches. After getting a tray and tongs. I selected items to purchase. I selected the sweet potato bread, a mochi donut and a cinnamon Danish. At the counter, I was intrigued by their drink menu and ordered the churro latte and a peppermint mocha for my mother. The one drawback was that my churro latte was given to me iced when I ordered a hot latte. The server corrected the error and made another drink for me. Tasting the pastries, I was impressed with the flaky texture of the danish and the delectable texture of the mochi donut. My mom said the cinnamon danish was delicious, as well. The churro latte was good; however. I did expect something a bit richer in taste. I look forward to my next visit and the chance to try more delicious treats.

My Paris Baguette experience landed on a Friday close to 4pm. There was roughly 70-80% of product in the cases and on the shelves. At the back of the store to the left are tongs hanging and underneath a pile of trays and boxes of parchment paper to the right. I was thankful they have a posted sign near the tongs with numerical steps listing the gather and pay process. They have a vast array of both savory and sweet pastries. Grab a pair of tongs keep them with you to retrieve the pastries of choice from the glass case on both sides, and the back area. An employee starting his first day on the job wasn't certain what an item was, however he took the initiative to look for answers. Good sign. He didn't know the answer, but made efforts to genuinely find out. There were some barren areas in the display case, however the same employee was replenishing the case. I thought I had scoped everything out. I was wrong. There were jelly rolls, some pre made sandwiches and salads and a glass bakery case with slices of various aesthetically pleasing slices of cake. I opted for a slice of the blueberry chiffon cake. To the right of that case were beautiful, delicious whole cakes with prices at $45 a cake. It was difficult to contain myself. I also missed the shelves of baked goods that have pre-packaged cookies and more goodies. They also sell coffee. While the strawberry pistachio bombolone appears very artificial looking it was one of faves! It was light and not very sweet! I thought the apple tartlet was ok. I really enjoyed the blueberry chiffon cake as well and the almond croissant. My pistachio iced latte was bland. Staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely visit this establishment next time i'm in the Hilltop area!

I was so excited when I saw the sign that we were getting a Paris Baguette in Virginia Beach. The first time I visited one was when I went to visit my Son in Philadelphia. That particular store was located inside an H Mart and the size of that establishment was equivalent to a warehouse. Paris Baguette and several other stores were lined up against one side of the store. Everything was immaculate and the employees were friendly. Now we have our own store and I couldn't be happier. This location is a lot smaller but the employees were just as friendly. I will definitely be making my way through all the amazing pastries one at a time. If you haven't stopped by yet, I strongly suggest you do. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong.

@parisbaguettevb @parisbaguette_usa 638 Hilltop West Shopping Center Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Monday - Sunday 6:00am - 9:00pm This place is a self serving Bakery that offers a large variety of baked goods! You can find anything from savor, yummy, sweet pastries, coffees, teas, and food here. If its your first time here; when you walk in, you can grab a tray and pair of tongs and you can choose what you want out of glass compartment which I think is great to keep the bread fresh. If theyre low on stocks dont be discouraged cause theyre always restocking. The establishment is in a perfect spot off Hillltop and the inside is beautiful and seats can be limited. There are some seatings outside but not very many. The bakery was clean and tidy. And Overall, this was great experience! I suggest you check them out! Thank you Paris Baguette! and check out my visual review at Danwithm3 on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLisuNLpndI/?igsh=MWp5OG9qeDduMXhqZQ==

Wow, so many yummy options to choose from. We decided on the chocolate supreme croissant, pistachio supreme croissant, feuillete au chocolat and butter cream bread. The 2 supreme croissants had a nice flaky crunchy. The flavors were spot on with the chocolate cream and pistachio cream. Just enough sweetness. The feuillete au chocolat was little sweeter in comparison with just enough chocolate and cream cheese baked in. The butter cream bread was a little disappointing because the cream tasted more like whipped butter not condensed milk. We also ordered the Café mocha made with lavazza coffee, which has a smooth texture and taste which paired excellent with all the pastries we chose. Can't wait to come back and try more treats.

Matcha Frappe and Milk & Cereal Mochi Donut

Dropped in on a Friday late in the afternoon, and expectedly, there was a fair amount of people seeing that the store is still so new, but nothing as crazy as some of the other reviewers have faced. The store looks sizable on the outside, but its design and layout inside makes things feel a bit cramped. This is my first time at a market-esque type cafe like this, and as cute as it is inside, I can see how the crampness would be magnified the more people come in and stroll around perusing the displays. The displays were stocked well enough when i visited, only a handful of things were out of stock, and i did notice one item mislabeled with the wrong price. Nothing a question to one of the workers wouldn't fix, and they were all working hard anyhow to keep up the flow of customers while still being kind to everyone! Because of how busy they were kept though, i did notice the floor and tables were a bit unclean, so I'd suggest a quick wipe down with a napkin if you plan on sitting at a table. I ordered the milk and cereal mochi donut and the matcha frappe (they were out of lavender for the lavender version unfortunately), and both were tasty! Neither blew me away though, and i did feel the donut was a touch oily. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and try more things though, absolutely love the variety of pastries there!!

I was super excited for this bakery to pop up in our area because the next closest one similar to this is all the way out in Newport News. Paris baguette was a little underwhelming to me. I really enjoyed the curry croquette and the strawberry/chocolate croissants! The curry croquette could use more filling though, it's not stuffed very much. The croissants were delicious! I would recommend heating them up slightly if you eat in or take it home. The matcha latte I had was not good (I am also a matcha fanatic so I am a little harsh on these). The matcha did not taste like matcha and the sweetener they used was too sweet and a little floral? If you look at my picture the green color is not as deep as my ceremonial grade, so the quality isn't as good. The bbq pizza was decent. I like that the breading is more croissant like than pizza crust like. In the bakery everything they have is out on the shelves. You take a tray and some tongs and put what you want on your tray and take it to the register. The register is where you can order drinks. The seating is first come first serve and you have to let them know to heat up your things if you're eating in the restaurant. No one really tells you what to do or how it works which can be confusing for some people who haven't been to a bakery like that. But overall it was ok! I do plan on trying other items if I'm ever in the area

I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

Everything looked lovely, it was hard to decide on what to get. She had also just made some fresh pastries. I decided on some ube pendesal, and as I'm a sucker for tiramisu I also asked for that. She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.
