The food was extremely disappointing. The drinks were decent, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The cashier at the front counter was very dry, unengaging, and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. When we asked for food recommendations and the differences between the bagel options, he offered little more than, "the sauce is different." At one point, he even stated, "I just make drinks," which was surprising given that this is not simply a coffee or drink shop. Customers should be able to expect at least basic knowledge of the menu or some effort to assist with questions. Unfortunately, the shakshuka was the worst I have ever had. This was my 1st there and my friend Rachel and I loved it , the ambiance gets 10/10, food I had the classic which is beef bacon , egg and cheese on a bagel it was good but I am not a fan of beef bacon so o had them not include the bacon. The lady at the register was very nice o asked some advice as to what type of specialty latte she would recommend and the honey lavender latte iced was amazing. The service was amazing, their all family working together was nice to see especially how they offered their service to the customers the best way possible! The food was absolutely delicious so good I got breakfast 2 days in a row. The shakshuka was probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. If you like tomatoes and eggs, I think you'd enjoy this combination. It beats an American breakfest for sure. The baklava was delicious as always. I must admit, I was super excited to have the place to ourselves as they were completely empty. It didn't last long because they started filling up. This is definitely a cute cafe and very insta worthy if that's your thing. Everything is black and white themed, including their plates and cups for dining in. Even the bathroom. They actually have a huge menu of food items. It's not just coffee. They have smoothies, bowls, breakfast, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, burgers etc. We saw a bunch of good coffee drinks but I abstained bc of all the sugar. So we tried two Turkish coffees and the Menemen which is a Turkish egg dish with tomato and onions and is amazing. Hubs added Gyro meat for protein. All in all - was about $40 for just that so it's not cheap. There are lots of Turkish goodies here. If you've never had Turkish food and if you know what's good for you, you'll come try it. Bc you are missing out! There is room for improvement here - there is a language barrier with the gals working up front so they messed up the orders (happened to us and the table beside us) and it takes a long time to get your food and coffee. We probably waited 20 minutes to get our Turkish coffees and they weren't that busy (think two other tables). This is the cute spot at the oceanfront! Decided to stop in for a treat but wish I knew they had such a robust menu. There are a lot of things I want to return and try. The mangonada was ok. The fruit wasn't very ripe. The Dubai chocolate is all the hype. The chocolate has a nice snap. Inside is nice and crunchy and not overly sweet. The decor is very nice...so much to see. 2D cafe was super cute! I felt like I was in a cartoon :) the ambiance was very casual. To order you walk up to the counter and they give you a number. It is first come first serve seating so you'll need to find and claim your own seat. It was pretty busy when I went and I went on a Sunday morning. There is additional outdoor seating as well but that is limited. I only got 2 things when I went but plan to come back to try more! I started off with a matcha strawberry latte with coconut cold foam on top. It might not be on the menu because apparently they change their menu every month. The drink was good but I was hoping for more matcha flavor! The cold foam overpowered the drink but it was still good and refreshing. My bagel was delicious! It was stuffed with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, pickled onions and greens served on an everything bagel and some chipotle aioli. Perfect brunch combo!! Stopped in at 2D a couple weeks ago. We ordered hummus, Turkish coffee, a cheese pastry appetizer (I cannot remember the name) and the custard dessert, I also cannot remember the name. The coffee and hummus were my order and both, 10/10! Absolutely loved it. The cheese pastry was good, it was not what I'm used to but again, this is Turkish cuisine which is something that is very new to me! The custard was much too sweet for my taste, however, I already knew it would be and it wasn't my food! The person that ordered it, STILL talks about it almost every day :D literally. Every day. I attended the 2D Cafe Yelp experience this past weekend and was not disappointed. I ordered the Burger and fries and was not expecting there to be so much meat or fries! There were 2 patties and i couldn't get my mouth over it. The flavor was amazing and I would def recommend it to others dining here. The price was a little high for burger and fries but well worth it with flavor. Service was amazing and the lady at the counter was very friendly and food came out pretty quickly. This cute little coffee shop is kinda hidden, so if you aren't looking you'll likely pass it by accident. We went in for some brunch & an iced coffee. While the food was pretty good, coffee was amazing, the prices were pretty steep. Steep enough that it'll be a very rare occurrence that I'll return. The cafe itself is very small so it is cramped and not the best for large parties, 4 to a group max would be the most comfortably in my opinion. It is also on the ocean front strip so parking is going to be difficult and an additional cost. Overall for the price, cramped space and lack of personality in service workers, I can't say I recommend.
