If want coffee, this is the place to go!!! We had caramel macchiatos and they were even better than star bucks!!! Breakfast sandwiches not so good, old not fresh but if you want a great cup of coffee, this is probably the best cup of java in Virginia Beach.

Coffee was ok. It is a super cute shop. Great service from the kid that was there. He was cool. We talked for a little bit while he was on the phone asking how to make a latte. So the coffee is pre made and the coffee shops I will give a 4 and a 5 star are custom made coffees. So 3 is as high as they will get unless I see otherwise. I saw they had ice cream counter and saw they offer all kinds of different food but I did not want to stress that kid out so I got a wonderful muffin. It was really really good. So if you staying down at the oceanfront they are good. But for great custom coffee they are not. Service was a 5. That kid was great Cuteness of the store was a 4 And I went during the off season.

This shop is so cute and located down the main strip where we were staying in Virginia Beach. There were so many options outside of just coffee. I also loved the many syrup options! I order the Iced Latte with Butterscotch. It was excellent! Loved the vibe and the barista was so friendly and super fast! The bathroom was clean. Check out their sign lol.

Would highly recommend this coffee shop. I came back two days in a row to get my morning coffee and family member a chai. They use tazo products which are used at Starbucks so the taste is very similar. Coffee was great, and they have a variety of options for milk substitutes as well. I didn't get food but they had numerous breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and bagels available. They have an espresso bomb, which I need to try. It is ice cream, espresso, whip cream and chocolate sauce. their prices are reasonable at 4.50 for a small (8 oz) and 5.00 medium (12 0z). I did think their smoothies and frappes were slightly over priced at $8.00. There are 2-3 tables available inside and 2 outside. But the beach is right across the street so I got to enjoy my morning coffee while watching the waves. Would recommend this coffee shop if you're in the area, it's walking distance from most hotels.

Our coffees were pretty good but the shop itself didn't have the charm we were looking for. They have a huge dog who jumps up and paws everyone. The beach themed items were not that original. We were hoping to find a place to frequent.

My Husband and I stayed across the street in a hotel. I saw this place and thought this would be a convenient place to get souvenirs and a quick bite to eat. This place was so must more! It turned out to be our early morning escape away from the kids. We loved the fact that they have great breakfast and lunch items, both indulgent and healthy options. The açaí bowls are a must try!

Cool vibe, bit of a modern industrial roaster aesthetic. Staff were patient, professional, and provided good recommendations. I went with a Rwandan special pour over, one of my nephews got the hot chocolate, my daughter and another nephew each got iced caramel lattes. It was a bit chilly but we still enjoyed seats in their beautiful garden area. The Rwandan was served at optimal temperature and was complex and delicious! My daughter and nephews enjoyed their drinks as well. I will certainly return!

It has tables and umbrellas overlooking a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. I was especially impressed by how dog-friendly Fathom is; my dogs were welcomed inside just like any other guest, and there are even pictures of their furry guest on the walls near the entrance. Their prices are very affordable & reasonable, especially compared to other coffee shops in the oceanfront area. On my first visit, I ordered a hot caramel latte with almond milk and an iced white chocolate mocha latte, and both drinks together were just over $11. They were well-balanced and delicious. My Second visit I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks. I ordered a hot coconut drift latte with almond milk, my daughter a watermelon lemonade and a pup cup. I was really impressed with the service my dog received, as they made their pup cup from scratch! The drinks have consistently been high in quality and flavor on each visit. It's worth mentioning that they don't serve food, but they do offer some pre-packaged snacks for purchase. Fathom has officially become a part of my Saturday morning routine when I visit the farmer's market. I highly recommend giving Fathom a try if you're in the area; you definitely won't be disappointed!

The line moved quickly, and while the food took a little longer to come out, it was clearly made fresh and was flavorful and worth the wait. One thing I appreciated was how dog-friendly the atmosphere is, with dogs welcome both inside and outside. The seating is very much community-style, with shared tables and a family/neighborhood feel. We didn't mind it, but if you prefer more personal space or private seating, the close quarters may not be for you. Breakfast sandwiches were reasonably priced, generally in the $13-$15 range. My only real complaint came when I watched the top of my sandwich fall off while a crew member was moving plates around. The employee picked it up and placed it back on the sandwich with their hand after touching several other items behind the counter. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, but it did bother me and left an impression. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was lively without being too loud, and the dog-friendly environment was a nice bonus.

After he selected a cinnamon bun, I ordered it heated. A moment later, I added two more cinnamon buns for my husband and daughter. The cashier visibly rolled her eyes at what was literally a two-second delay in completing my order. I then ordered a coffee, a dark chocolate latte with almond milk, a cookie, and a gluten-free biscotti. My total was around $21, and I added a $5 tip. While my card was still processing, another customer walked in. The cashier repeatedly told me, "You're all set," even though the card reader had not finished processing my payment. The interaction felt rushed, as though I was being pushed aside for the next customer despite there being no line. While waiting for my order, the barista called out a "decaf latte with almond milk." Since I had ordered a dark chocolate latte with almond milk, I let her know it wasn't mine. The barista immediately appeared irritated and looked ready to dump the drink. The cashier then clarified that the ticket said "dark chocolate," not "decaf," and it became apparent that the handwritten order had been misread. The replacement drink was made while the barista loudly slammed equipment and banged metal tools around, making it very clear she was unhappy about having to remake it. The entire experience felt hostile and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, none of the employees were wearing gloves while handling food items, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety. Based on my experience, the customer service was poor, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, and the food handling practices were concerning. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand, as several other customers appear to have reported similar issues. There are plenty of coffee shops in the Virginia Beach area that value customer service. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.
