POST WORKOUT blueberry, banana, vanilla protein, peanut butter, almond milk, agave THE GOLDEN BUDDHA mango, pineapple, banana, cold pressed ginger & carrot juice, coconut water Both of these smoothies were great, but the latter packs a little punch (which I personally love) from the ginger. A small and super cute juicery right near the coastline of Virginia Beach. This place is perfect if you need a refreshing drink or a shot made with ginger. I love coming here when I'm too lazy to make my own juice and smoothie or if I come out for a Trader Joe's run because they do a great job, and everything is very fresh. I will say that the service was a little bit on the slower end. We saw that there were over five drinks that were ready just on the counter for over five minutes and one of them was ours that we were just waiting for someone to call out. Another thing is that I personally think that it is a little bit over priced for the drinks, so definitely not a place I go to all the time but definitely will come here at least once a month if I'm feeling like I want to try and new juice or just get a refresher! I always get the green drink with a ginger shot, so I highly recommend those two. Parking is a little bit tight as they have a small lot right behind so you may have to park elsewhere and they do have seating inside and outside but not that much if you were planning on sitting inside. read more

I'm feeling particularly unwell today, so stopping here makes me feel a tad healthier (or more likely I'm just rationalizing spending $7 on a golden milk). This shop is so earthy. There was a couple who sat next to me- I had my well behaved leashed dogs under the table and one got up to get a drink of water and the women yelled at me and raised her hand at my dog. I was appalled as we were many other people on the patio at the time. Who raises their hand to hit someone else's dog. I understand not everyone is dog friendly, and I am very mindful of my dogs in public spaces . The staff was apologetic and very kind. They even brought the dogs a little peanut butter shake. Want to start my review stressing that this place is super cute and the baristas are super sweet, but it just wasn't doing it for me this morning. Locals will point you to other places, but my friends & I wanted to give it a second chance. To note, the acai bowl does NOT contain granola and it just was not that thick for your typical acai. When I ordered an iced chai, the baristas genuinely tried to figure something out to make the drink, but it ended up tasting super watered down but with an added mix of milk and tea. I couldn't finish it so I ordered an iced coffee and it also ended up tasting super watered down too despite the fact they were both served immediately. Overall, I'd say my experience was so-so. It was a perfect portion for what I needed. The yummy toast slices were topped with avocado, green goddess dressing, and greens. It was fresh and tasty. My friend wasn't a big fan of what she got. Her coffee was bitter and the protein bites weren't that good but they were filling and healthy, which is why she got them. Our fresh pressed juices were delicious, however. All and all I was quite happy with what I ordered and the cafe in general.
