Great food, space, and prices. Wasn't crazy about the matcha but their coffee lattes were really good. Great space for remote work as well.

But they are closed for the season guys, how could you be confused!

Very bad advertisement, they have a sandbridge restaurant that has an open daily sign... but as you call other locations it's closed for the season. Again Nothing about this at the actual restaurant. All of this trouble just to try and get acai bowls because it's the closet on maps instead of driving 40 minutes ... come to find out the don't even use real acai it's a blend with almond milk NOTHING ABOUT that on the website either. Also all 3 girls standing at the counter sorry didn't catch names in between all the death stares but very rudely just looked blankly at me not very welcoming. weird atmosphere would steer clear if you can!

Cutest coffee spot. Visiting friends in the area and stopped in for a coffee to catch up. The inside was so cute. Small but cozy. The staff was pleasant and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted. Coffee was amazing! If I lived in the area this would definitely become my local spot.

Found them by seeing a sign out by the road that said LUNCH. They are tucked away and if your out between Pungo and Sandbridge you have to check them out. I like their coffee but I also like their refreshers. The refeshers are good because they are not overly sweet. That's perfect for me. They also serve food. The owner makes the BEST potato salad. I do not know if that is always an option but it was and it was wonderful. The wraps are fresh and delicious. It is a small place but I thought it felt comfy. Nice and clean

What a very warm, inviting, and intimate coffee shop! I appreciate the vibrant tones, from bright orange to calming neutral greens. Kudos for the outlets near the wall seats. The tables are smaller than what I'm used to, but I was still able to fit my 13" laptop and drink while by myself. I tried their Coconut White Chocolate Vanilla Latte, the first on the menu. While I'm not a dedicated coffee enthusiast, it felt somewhat akin to a standard vanilla latte. Still, I appreciated the comforting taste. I was intrigued by their unique offerings, especially the coffee with a kick (I have not been to a coffee shop that offers coffee with alcohol before)- definitely on my list for the next visit! Looking forward to trying their food options as well.

Great ambiance, friendly service. Food was really good! Coffee was good also. The location is a little tricky to find via Apple Maps (it makes you turn into the neighborhood and use the roundabout to make a u-turn and go back instead of just turning left into the shopping center), but it's right off Princess Anne past Harris Teeter.

Coffee was great and their cold foam is DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the strawberry fields and samoa. Tucked away in a hidden spot in towards the beach, Baja gives the perfect coastal and cool vibes! The staff was friendly, which was matched a bright interior! Coffee was brought out quick and it looked beautiful!

Food, my sister and I got Cali Style breakfast and a BLT a cheese danish and an apple danish, we really liked the quality of the food and pastries. They had plenty of syrup options for their coffee/lattes and I like options, so that was good. The ladies at the counter were nice, the seating is limited, but the place is cute. They are doggy friendly so that's always a plus. If we're ever on that side of town we'll definitely stop by. Worth trying at least once

Pretty cute spot. Coffee was on point. Ordered a Latte with Vanilla. They have many options of milk. I also ordered the Baja breakfast wrap. Very good but would have been better with salsa. They may or may not have salsa. I didn't ask. Over all the experience was nice including the customer service.

Love this new coffee shop closeby. The coffee is good and they have soooo many different flavors and selections. Their pastries and lunch is also very good. Great vibe and ambiance inside and the staff are all very friendly!! We have been here several times already and will definitely be regulars!! Check them out for good coffee and good eats!!

Although we sat outside (because we were dining with a dog), we never had to wait too long for the waitress to check on us. Every 5-10 minutes, she dropped by to make sure things were going well and to refill our coffee. Since The Egg Bistro has a HUGE breakfast menu, I'm sure everyone should be able to find something that they will/might enjoy. For my dining pleasure, I tried something new and went with the Bennie & the Grits. This dish piqued my interest because I never heard of grits cakes in the four decades of living on this planet. For about 20 bucks, the dish included three fried grit cakes with ground sausage, grilled shrimp, more sausage, two poached eggs and a side. Although the serving size was HUGE, I was not a bit fan of the dish. Note, I didn't think the dish was prepared badly, I just didn't get the concept of the fried grits (this from a grits lover); however, everything else with the dish was pretty good. If you are a Bloody Mary lover, you might some interesting varieties of Bloody Marys here. Additionally, I really appreciated that The Egg Bistro ranks the Bloody Marys based on spice level. Overall, I definitely would not mind visiting this location during a future trip to Va Beach. The only (very) minor issue that I had was that the outdoor seating is right next to the parking lot so you might experience some exhaust fumes/smoke while eating if you chose to dine outside. Again, this would not have been a (very) minor issue if we were not dining with a dog.

My boyfriend and I arrived here on a Friday around 10 and they have valet which we absolutely loved because the parking lot can be tricky. So all you have to do is pull up behind the restaurant and they will park your car. We were expecting a huge wait time, originally they told us 45 minutes and we ended up only waiting 25 minutes. That time flew by, while you wait they have a small bar outside to enjoy and they have the cutest little gift shop. While we waited the worker inside the gift shop was the sweetest and she gave us some backstory about the Bee and the Biscuit. After 25 minutes we sat down. We didn't know what to order since everything sounded great but I got the Steak and Eggs Griddle (Medium Rare) and my partner got the Cowboy Benedict. Both were so delicious, please beware you will most likely not finish your food. They give great portions. I can't wait to come back to try more of there entrees it was truly an amazing place.

You will require this, as well as the outdoor bar and large outdoor seating area, because it is likely that you will be waiting before you have the opportunity to be seated and take advantage of the food offerings. With the parking out-of-the-way, and your expectation that you will be waiting about the length of a feature film behind you during busy periods, let's get to the food. There is a straightforward charm, and there are biscuits, but the value add really isn't there for the amount of time investment and at the price point. Service is workmanlike and pleasant, seating is tight as you might imagine. To be fair, there is some creativity in the dish naming and drink presentation. Taken on its own merits, I would rate it as a three out of five. This is the sort of place that generates a lot of attention and buzz because of its location in an affluent area and because of word of mouth. But the fare is not of such a spectacular quality that the peak hour waits justify.

Upon bring our drinks see let us know about the house specials and the specialty topping for pancakes they were running currently. The menu looked like it had seen better days, it had obviously gotten wet at some point and was dried but still legible so I guess that's what matters most. We placed our orders and chatted. Looking around the establishment, it's probably more of a neighborhood spot. One thing that did catch my eye was the wall behind the bartender, it was packed with alcohol and different beers, made it easy to what the places served and draws your eyes in. Anyway, after about 25 minutes, our food was brought to us. The food, I can't speak honestly say my pancakes were good, my omelette was okay but the hash browns were too thin and overcooked to a crisp. The two main roads they are located in between is Nimmo Pkwy and Elson Green Ave. My most recent visit here was on June 6, 2026. With the place being located in a shopping center, parking wasn't an issue, even though it was on a Saturday morning. The outside of the place is simple, but you can see the place easily with the green lettering. When my mom and I came inside, we were able to just find a table and then they would come by in a moment. It was a bit busy, but I was surprised that it took them several minutes to finally come to the table to get the menus and drink orders placed. Once the drinks came to the table, our server asked us if we were ready to order, but we weren't quite yet. I went with water with lemon for a drink while my mom went with Pepsi since they have Pepsi products here. She came back a few minutes later, and we were finally ready to order. I decided to go with the French Toast Breakfast Specialty along with Crispy Bacon, 2 Eggs, and a Biscuit on the side as a la carte items. My mom went with the 2 Eggs & 2 Items Breakfast Special. She did hers with French Toast (1.5 Slices), Crispy Bacon, and two scrambled eggs. It was less than 10 minutes for the food to come out, which was a nice surprise considering how busy they were on this visit. The entrees looked really good and hot when they came out. I don't do the syrups any longer due to the high sugar content, so I just did the French Toast with butter on it, which was good the way it was. The bacon was nice and crispy, along with the scrambled eggs being good too. The biscuit was a great way to finish off the meal. Although the meal did elevate the glucose higher than I thought, it was still good. My mom said the food she had was good too, and there were no issues. Overall, this experience was better than the last time I was here about ten years ago. The service was a little off at first since it took awhile for them to get to the table originally. There was a feeling of being rushed to order, but I guess that's because it is a small space inside with limited seating. One thing to note about that is if you come on a weekend or a holiday, there is a limit of 90 minutes to be there. If you're in the Red Mill Commons area and looking for a breakfast spot, this place is still worth considering.

They've made some updates since my last review. I noticed they swapped out the bar stools for what seem to be a bit more accommodating in style. They added cushion to the church benches, although they are a bit "grippy". They updated the other bar and also the outside area. I believe they have a cornhole section and from what I could tell, an area that could be really fun during the warmer months. The overall vibe is so quirky, cool, different, and I just love how it's decorated. The other locations have the same sort of intrigue but in much different ways. I still love the OG Bay Local and probably need to visit there again to be reminded of why we fell in love in the first place, but the location on General Booth... hard to beat, especially being so close. Another positive is the food quantity, quality, and price for what you are getting. Sure, almost every food establishment had to raise their price, but Bay Local seem to be very reasonable, ESPECIALLY for what you get. I know several other places that have good food, but you are paying several dollars more for what Bay Local offers that is similar (in some cases) but not slacking on portion control and quality. That is huge! Bay Local is a "well-oiled machine" with management, staff, and operations (not their first rodeo). The staff are attentive, friendly, fast in service, including fixing anything that may not have been correct, and still hold the quality of what they offer. Congrats to a great establishment, and it will remain on the top slots of our brunch list!

The game itself was lively, well-paced, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The patio where the event was held is beautiful, and it was spacious enough for the crowd. The only downside to the seating was that some guests ended up behind a wall where they could hear the caller but couldn't actually see her or the plants being awarded. One suggestion that I think would make the event even better is the prize structure. When there are ties, the winners have to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who gets the plant. While that's part of the fun, I felt bad for the people who won their bingo card but ultimately went home with a donated T-shirt, soil, or plant food instead of a plant. Even a small, inexpensive plant for the runner-up would make the experience feel more rewarding, especially since the event is centered around plants. The food and service were a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the California Club with sweet potato fries, and it was delicious. However, the menu was more limited than expected, and we were told some of the regular menu items (including the tacos!) weren't available during the event. Our server was genuinely pleasant and did the best she could, but she appeared to be covering more tables than one person reasonably should. Service was slow, and we had to remind her about our drinks after our food had already arrived. It felt more like a staffing issue than a service issue. One thing I didn't care for was the payment process. We were only brought a credit card slip with the total to add a tip and sign after our card had already been charged. We had to specifically ask for an itemized receipt to review the charges. I would have preferred the opportunity to see the bill before my card was run or at least have the option to use a different payment method. The event advertising was also a little misleading. The description said, "Join us for 20 rounds of bingo, raffle entries, plant prizes, tacos & drinks!" Based on that wording, it certainly sounded like tacos and non-alcoholic beverages were included with the ticket price. Instead, everything had to be purchased separately, and we were told the tacos (which are on the regular restaurant menu) weren't even available during the event due to the limited event menu. Clarifying that food and drinks are available for purchase would help set better expectations. Despite those issues, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. I was fortunate enough to win one of the plants, and it's beautiful. My suggestions are simply things I think would make an already fun event even better for everyone. The energy of Plant Bingo, the beautiful patio, the organized check-in, and the friendly atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening, and with a few improvements to the prize distribution, staffing, payment process, and event advertising, it could easily become an even better experience.

The check-in process was seamless; my group received our bingo cards and the flyer outlining the 20 game plays, and we appreciated the flexibility of the indoor and outdoor seating. The service was both friendly and efficient. We were required to start a tab; I was unsure if this is standard policy or specific to the event, but either way it worked out well. I ordered the Baja bowl: grilled chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and avocado served on cilantro-lime rice topped with tortilla strips and Aji Verde sauce. My bowl was delicious, fresh and portioned just right. The plant selections for the prizes were great, I actually won a Pothos Yellow Flame. I do have two suggestions: 1. Consider having extra plant prizes available for tie-breaking rounds instead of playing rock-paper-scissors. If you win you deserve a plant. 2. It would be helpful if guests were provided with a copy of their bill to verify for accuracy before their card is charged and the tab is closed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the event. I look forward to returning to Sage Kitchen soon.

I've had the Williamsburg Bagel before so I was excited to enjoy it again but I wasn't a big fan of the thick-cut red onions they added on there, and I actually love onions! Unfortunately, I ended up taking most of them off. I also wish it had more cream cheese, the thin layer on the bottom just wasn't enough for me. My husband and a friend came here on a Thursday morning to order 6 items and they were gone for almost an hour (it was a 10 minute drive from where we stayed). They come back with a bag of "bagels" (if that's what you want to call them) drenched in ketchup. Our orders were extremely simple: BEC w/PK on a plain bagel Egg and cheese on a croissant BEC w/PK on an asiago bagel Taylored Ham, egg & cheese on a bagel Toasted everything bagel with lox & cream cheese Here is everything that went wrong: 1. The bagel store didn't offer BACON, so we ended up substituting for sausage. The sausage patty was probably the size of my kid's palm- that's how small it was. The eggs were overcooked and had no taste, but don't worry, they'll make sure to smother the entire bagel with ketchup to make up for it. 2. TOASTED bagel with lox & cream cheese- bagel was not toasted, and there wasn't any lox available. 3. Egg & cheese on a croissant- the place didn't have any croissants... so had to substitute this for a roll 4. It was the chef's second day in the kitchen. Bagels alone wasn't great quality..it was edible enough, but extremely chewy and stiff, especially after taking so long to prepare the orders and with two people working in a place that is seemingly popular with the Yelp Community, the amount of time it took this order to be ready was a little ridiculous. I ordered the same thing back home the following day and it took less time to make here in NJ than it did here on a non-busy day with just my husband and friend as their sole customer at the time.
