It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

My tap payment wouldn't read, so I had to insert my card, and afterward, I had to wipe it down before putting it back in my wallet. It wasn't the best impression. The ice cream may be the main attraction here, but with so many great ice cream shops in the area, nothing about this visit really stood out enough to bring me back. Next up we have kouign amann if you never heard of them it's a Breton cake made with laminated dough with layers of butter and sugar. For me dough, butter, and sugar combined is always a winner! Allie is a very talented baker!! She accepts custom orders. She is very personal and super friendly!! The only downside I see is my waistline and her will not get along!!
