There were about 6 other people in there, 5 of them being together. After taking way too long to decide, I went with the "coffee date" smoothie which had cold brew coffee, almond milk, banana, peanut butter, raw cacao and dates. The small was $12.12. A little pricey; but for organic nowadays, that's the price you pay! While I waited, I admired the ambiance of the spot, even the bathroom was aesthetic! It happened to be Fruitives birthday over the weekend, so Chris at the front gave me a reusable bamboo straw and a little keychain! So sweet. My order took about 5 minutes! The first sip was exactly what I was looking for. Something refreshing, slightly sweet and the perfect morning pick me up! I enjoyed my smoothie outside for a little before heading out to finish my errands. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, depending on your vibe! While Selden Market I met Danni, the co-owner of Bellas Creations and talk about giving off good vibes...she had an encouraging spirit and so much personality! It immediately felt like I had met a new addition to my 757 Fam! Also, I found out her family has an entrepreneurial spirit! Her sister owns Isabel's Comfy Co. (soft blankets and pillows) and her brother owns DC Smoothie (food truck). Based upon Danni's recommendation...I checked out DC Smoothie which was located at Farmhouse Brewing for the day. As soon as, I pulled up Danni's husband greeted me like family! He had a huge smile and said, Danni told me you were on the way; what can I get you? I felt so welcomed! I almost thought he was going get real 757 and ask me; how your momma' and them doing? Well, I ordered one of the best smoothies ever and tacos!! It was a great experience...I will definitely be back! Side Note: God is always placing the right people in your life to give you messages, help you find your way, and/or let you know you are on the right path. We both got smoothies and they were large and tasted very very fresh with lots of fresh ingredients (not the watery ones you know only had some concentrate). Order at the counter and find your own seat-type place. Seating was mostly full but we lucked out with one available table that they had to bus and wipe down for us. The patio is really cute when the weather is warm. I liked the menu and could see this being a cute place to come with friends for lunch or bring out of town folks if they want to try a new brunch or lunch spot.
