Cozy coffeehouse that's not just tourist. In a really unique neighborhood, they roast their own coffee and they had some interesting concoctions, both cold and hot.

The shop is located in a beautiful location and close to oceanfront... the shop has a cozy vibe, has indoor and outdoor seating... they have very unique flavor combinations and has milk alternatives too... I got the drip coffee with milk foam... the barista recommended it and it's the bestseller but I personally didn't enjoy it... I felt a weird after taste.. pastries and food felt very pricey..!!

One of the many gems in the Vibe District! My friend and I stopped in for their amazing hot chocolate!

Great place to stop in for coffee and pastries! The place is buzzing because it's got great coffee, hot chocolate, and gluten-free pastries! Service is quick and friendly and it has a great atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!!

We walked here for coffee on our first morning staying in the area. It is a cool shop. They have coffee, swag, pastries, etc... The coffee of that day was from Guatemala and was just not for me. A little to earthy Definitley try it out... the coffee may be right up your alley

Always top notch when hitting this local spot. Though they've opened up a couple other spots, this one remains my favorite. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, and their usual menu items never miss. The staff takes extra care to make sure you are getting exactly what you want, and they do it very well. Every drink is made to order, so nothing is sitting around waiting. They also always have great selection of merch including tees, hats and stickers. If you take your coffee black, and seriously, this is a great spot!

Three ships is easily the best coffee in Virginia Beach! Everything they have is impeccable, from their seasonal drinks to the classic, this time I got a vanilla latte and a ham biscuit. Both were great, and the staff was lovely. The atmosphere is always very cool, and so much better designed than most coffee shops in a beach town. It leans into the nautical field, but in a cool fresh way. I highly recommend going!

Coffee was tasty! Brought my coffee snob husband who got their drip and said "if you get the basics right, you're set... they got the basics right" (that's a pretty good review in his book haha). We also got a ham and cheese croissant which was quickly devoured and very good. Busy but not too crowded, great vibe, knowledgeable workers, and overall and great experience!

For too long, coastal Virginia lacked the amazing coffee stands and shops we used to find everywhere in the Pacific Northwest. In recent years, a crop of great options has finally popped up. Three Ships is one of the best! Every time I've gone in the baristas have been friendly and helpful. Their in house roasted brews are top notch, and start with their excellently sourced beans. I've tried various blends/brews, both hot and cold, and have enjoyed them all. They also offer a nice variety of baked items, including gluten-free options. This muffin may not look like much, but it was an incredible chocolate chip filled gluten free goody that tasted like "the real thing", num num num! There is a sitting area inside the air conditioned shop as well as a nice porch area to sit outside in the heart of the VB Vibe/arts district.

Visited on a Saturday morning so they were SUPER busy and the line was very long. I was really hoping it was worth it. Got some pastries and a specialty coffee. Everything was excellent. The servers were great even with the busy crowd. And the place exuded great fun. Would revisit when I go back.

A great place for coffee, pastries, and an occasional bite to eat. Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Been on vacation since last week & it's our fifth time coming. The mocha and iced Pungo latte have been our favorites!

Once arrived you'll be greeted by the valet homies! Get yourself a drink from my guy at the side bar bc it will be at least an hour wait. I'm down for that tho because the ambiance and outdoorzy garden area is always chill for sun vibes and photos. Once you're seated that wait time will be well worth it bc everything on the menu is A1 but those Pungonian Shrimp & Grits!..... My God! An banger every time no questions. The steak and eggs, the pancakes, the mimosa flights, etc, Everything is worth the try! And oh...those biscuits.....with the butter and jam...man oh man. Outside of wait time and drive its a 5/5 stars. If i was one of those people who are mad impatient i would sit this one out bc you're gonna be chillin but if you're like me and like to chill, just get there early and enjoy! Won't disappoint. A banger for sure. Top tier breakfast/brunch location !

I highly recommend trying the cinnamon roll. It's served warm, loaded with sweet glaze, and is large enough to share with up to four people. We also ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and a chorizo omelette, substituting the goat cheese for cheddar. Both dishes were outstanding and offered great value for the price. The wait can be long, especially on weekends, but the experience while waiting actually adds to the charm. There's an outdoor bar with plenty of drinks to choose from, covered patios for relaxing, and even board games to enjoy while you wait for your table. The service was excellent from start to finish. Free valet parking is also available, though tipping is definitely encouraged. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the Virginia Beach area

From the moment we walked in, the Experience was top tier, and the customer service Impeccable. From the door to the table , we received that southern hospitality where we felt welcomed. The Star of the show-THE FOOD! Fresh, flavorful, and seasoned across the board. I hade Avocado toast , and it was everything I wanted it to be. My Man ordered the Wharf Scramble, packed w/ Jumbo Shrimp, kale, spinach, Avocado, tomatoes &scrambled eggs, and let me tell you, they didn't miss!!! I have been to this restaurant a total of 3 times and have always ordered the same dish.. what can I say I am Catfish and Collards kinda girl. Ordered Fish and Grits with a side of Collards on one occasion and I believe with Mac and Cheese & Collards on the other two. The dish is called The Tail of Two fish. It includes one piece of catfish and one piece of whiting.. I substituted for two pieces of Catfish Fried Hard.... If you know. You know. First time collards were decent but nothing to drive in traffic towards oceanfront for. The staff claim to like their Mac and Cheese but I am definitely not a fan. I personally will not Reccomend. They are not horrible but what can I say, watery and lacking layers of flavor and creaminess that one desires when eating a comfort food like Mac & Cheese. The fish was good especially with some Hot Sauce. Grits were ok but I've had better. Cocktails are amazing BUT pricey. Please be mindful that when you are a mixed drink off the menu for example, A lemon Drop, Margarita, any signature drink... it automatically includes alcohol BUT your waiter will ask you what kind of alcohol would you prefer... for instance Don Julio or Patron.... If you select on of those option you will be charged for the cocktail plus the UPGRADED liquor of choice. So if your Margarita is $16 On the menu (that includes liquor) IF you choose one of the choices being offered to you, you will be charged an additional charge for the shot in your drink. For example if you chose Don Julio when you ordered your cocktail. That drink now almost $30!!!! $16 for cocktail on menu PLUS example $12 for a shot of Don Julio... NOW that 1 cocktail cost $28 ish. If you have 3 of these bad boys thru out the course of your meal or happen to ask for a drink with a double shot, be prepared to pay more money for your curated cocktail then you entire meal! The service was excellent BUT I try believe that it's the waiter/or waitresses obligation to advise that when you order your drink it comes with alcohol and if you choose one of the alcohol options that they are providing for your drink, to explain that that is a up charge and you don't have to to pick a brand of liquor because the drink made as is already includes alcohol. This information was not related to any of the guests sitting at my large party and some cocktails actually came up to almost $50 per drink!!!! Quite INSANE! Gratuity is automatically added on for single orders and or large groups. Perhaps the waiters attempt to upsell the Too Shelf Liquor and don't explain. The additional cost to ensure a larger bill which leads to larger amount of gratuity. ‍ who knows but some of my guests complained to the manager and she apologized for the lack of information. Back to the Food! lol Fried Green Tomatoes!!! I normally love them but I know many places cannot truly execute them and Milk& Honey is definitely one of those places that should not have this dish on the menu! Fried Green tomatoes should be FRIED, Seasoned & CRISPY! By adding a dressed salad on top of the tomatoes, your fried green tomatoes is now a SOGGY unseasoned, lukewarm tomato.. I do not Reccomend. Order at your own risk!!! You have been warned! Fried Deviled Eggs. Every person that I have dined with at this restaurant most definitely HIGHLY RATE and DEVOUR the Deviled Eggs. So those get 5 's Shrimp Po Boy Sliders were a hit and fan fave but I believe those were part of a daily special. Peach Cobbler Empanada for dessert was a nice sharable between two to simply try something new. Overall I normally spend at least $100 for my meal, cocktail and at least one drink for the guest of honor including tax and gratuity. That's a bit high for a brunch when the food is a hit or miss. I had such high hopes for this restaurant to be in the 757 area especially because I've heard great reviews from the chains in the DMV area. I disliked that many of my guest were disappointed and dissatisfied for my Birthday Brunch

My mom and I decided to try this place out since our regular Sunday breakfast spot was closed that day. The visit here was on April 5, 2026. This restaurant was pretty easy to find once we came into the shopping center. There are quite a few businesses along the stretch this restaurant is located at. When you first come up, you can see the darker colors on the outside of the business. There were also a few info boards in front of the limited outdoor seating available. It was pretty early in the morning, so it wasn't too busy yet when we came in, though when we were done, it was much busier. There is quite a bit of indoor seating available. The overall theme inside does have a breakfast type of vibe to it as well. We were immediately greeted and seated when we came in. Our server Anna was pretty quick to come to the table and introduce herself. We weren't ready to choose what we wanted to eat or drink yet as we had really just gotten seated, but she gave us a few moments and then we were ready to order drinks. My mom went with coffee, but I figured I would try their Bloody Mary. She was good about checking the age too. After the drinks came out, we were then ready to order the breakfast courses. I decided to go with the Mallorca French Toast entree with coconut syrup and Argentinian Chorizo as the protein. My mom decided to go with the Scrambled Eggs (Two Eggs) with crispy bacon, white toast, and breakfast fries. While waiting for the food to come out, I tried the Bloody Mary, which was very good. It wasn't too spicy, which is the way I prefer to have it. The flavor combination was good for that. After ordering, the food came out about ten minutes later, which is about the time I would expect with the order we had. The Mallorca French Toast looked really good. My mom's order looked good too. The Mallorca French Toast was quite the indulgence. This was the first time I had had that type of bread. The bread was soft, fluffy, and easy on the mouth too. The coconut syrup was a great complement to it, as I normally don't do syrups due to the sugar content. I knew this meal would likely spike my glucose, and it did, though not as high as I thought it might have gotten to. The Argentinian Chorizo was really good too and had a great flavor to it. I would definitely do that as a protein on future visits too, as you don't see that everywhere like you do bacon. Our server was great about checking in on us and asking if we had any questions or issues. Overall, this was a very good first experience coming here. The food, service, and such were great. I want to note that there wasn't a surcharge for using a credit card as of the time of this visit. Since their menu has lunch type items too, I would come back and try some of those items in the future. If you're looking for a different take on breakfast places, this place is worth checking out.
