I had some extra time to spare before having to go into work late so I stopped here to grab a drink for my boss and me. It was 8 or 9AM and there was a pretty long line despite the weather. The team was positive with great energy despite the gloomy rainy weather. The line went pretty steadily. I ordered the Tsunami which had espresso, vanilla, coconut and vanilla soft top. I also ordered the shark bite which had raspberry, white chocolate, espresso and soft top. The coffee was delightful. It was the perfect balance, not too sweet, great flavor where I could appreciate the coffee. I can't wait to try other drinks including their matcha.

Stop at Beach Bum for the coffee, come back again and again for the service! On visit here was all I needed to understand why they have such a following (and line!). Beach Bum is a trailer sitting conveniently off Lynnhaven Pkwy in the parking lot of Cosmo's Corner doggie daycare. Plenty of private lot parking and easily accessible. If you follow them on socials, you'll get to check out their monthly specials before heading that way. They also have a variety of standard coffee fare, non-coffee and energy drink options, which seems to be popular at a lot of the coffee places I've visited. On this visit, I already knew what I wanted to try prior to arriving - the sea turtle. It was a delicious blend of salted caramel and chocolate flavors. The young lady working was a gem! She made everyone feel welcome and communicated expectations well. She would take 2-3 orders at a time then pause to make those drinks. She kept things moving very well and anticipated guests needs, like offering ice water on a hot day. For my order, I asked about decaf espresso. They did not have this option, unfortunately, but they do have decaf cold brew! This is the first time I've found a place that does. She offered to make my requested drink with the cold brew and it was insanely good!! They have a variety of milk options as well. I highly recommend making a stop at the Beach Bum Coffee truck. This was a wonderful experience and I would be more than happy to return!

Be prepared to wait. Got in line at 9:00 when they opened , waited 39 minutes before ordering our drink and another 10 before we received them. A whopping 49 minutes for a latte. The drinks are good but I wouldn't go out of your way unless you wanna spend your morning waiting in line. There was also no shade in the blazing sun which luckily we were there early enough it wasn't too hot till towards the end of our trip. There were 3 people in the trailer working at dmv speed. It would've probably gone quicker if they used the second window for pick ups and not just one window to share when only one side of said window opens for orders and pick ups. Photo is 15 minutes after we got in line.

I can confidently say that Beach Bum is my favorite coffee spot in all of Hampton Roads. My only complaint is that it isn't closer to my home. I have now tried a good percentage of the menu and can't complain about anything. The owner is always so welcoming and makes every visit enjoyable for each customer. She knows her regulars and makes it obvious that she appreciates every individual who shows up at her truck. A few of my fave menu items are the Shark Bite and the Tsunami. If you haven't tried white coffee, make sure to do that here! Bonus points if they're serving Tumbeezy cookies!

Bum it over at Cosmos Corner, where Beach Bum sits in their small trailer in the entry corner of the parking lot. There is ample parking. The coffee stand has a double-sided sandwich board with a variety of beach themed coffee drinks. There are plenty of drink options that can be made hot or iced that come in a standard small, medium, or large. They also have a variety of alt milks - coconut, oat, almond - to name a few. There are a few knitted cup sleeves for purchase as well. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. They also have seasonal flavors as well. I ordered a medium spicy chai hot w coconut syrup and a cold shark bite. Both drinks were great and packed with flavor! Although I'm such a chai fan, I favored it a bit more. The shark bite paired well with the raspberry flavor a unique addin. There is plenty of parking in the space, and the experience is clean, warm, and welcoming! Will be returning for more flavors! Stay connected to their IG for their weekly schedule and flavor menu.

I forgot to take pics of the drinks. I was transporting 4 drinks and was too concerned about having a casualty. I ordered two (iced) orange dreamsicles, unfortunately they ran out of orange, so the other options were mango, strawberry, watermelon or raspberry. My siblings went for the watermelon. My husband went with the honeysuckle chai (hot) and I ordered the spring fling (iced) which is dark chocolate, cookie butter, espresso & milk). The spring fling was tasty. My husband really enjoyed his chai, but it is on the very sweet side & my siblings said their watermelon drink was tasty as well. The above flavors are for the month of April. Follow their IG to see what the seasonal/monthly drinks are. They are a coffee truck that is located outside the Cosmo's Corner doggy daycare parking lot (old Toy Castle building off Lynnhaven Pkwy). Customer favorites per one of the employees are the tsunami, medusa & shark bite. You receive a slight discount if you pay in cash, they have a punch card (just ask) and on Tuesday or Thursday one of the "T" days is double stamp day. They also sell Tumbeezy Cookies!

I'm a regular here and on top of amazing coffee every single time, Beach bum coffee offers one of the best customer service experiences in the area. She remembers all of her customers preferences even if we don't mention it. She is constantly giving back to her customers whether it's a free coffee on your birthday, a random Instagram post or just to make your day. I dread Monday's because it's the one day I can't get beach bum coffee. If my review didint convince you enough that she has the best coffee in the area... I drive from Norfolk to the Lynnhaven area each time to get her coffee... 10/10

Heard about this little coffee truck from my sister in law. She had stopped by a few days prior and raved about them. She did warn me that I should get a medium because the large was LARGE. I checked out their IG, and made my way out here on a Saturday morning (open 9-1). They're parked in the Cosmo's Corner parking lot. When we came there were plenty of spots available and there wasn't a line. There were two folks working and I don't feel like my drink was rushed or sloppy. I got a winter menu special, the biscoff cookie. This drink had white chocolate, cinnamon, cookie butter, espresso, milk, cookie butter soft top and cookie crumbles. I chose iced because it's actually a nice day out in the chilly January, and their medium is roughly the size of a venti at Starbucks. The drink itself was very smooth. It was creamy, rich, and aesthetically pleasing. My husband took a sip and immediately dropped the, "mmm that's so good!" He got a hot drink, a large and it's about the same size as an iced medium, maybe a smidge taller. I was very happy with my drink. I think I'll be finding new reasons to go out to this area, just for their coffee. Wish they were closer to Chesapeake but maybe it's best for my wallet and waist line.

My birthday twin and Tumbeezy and Friends

Wow, how have I not had beach bum coffee went to beach bum coffee to pick up some cookies that I ordered from Tumbeezy and Friends. I was informed that the owner of Beach Bum coffee and me are birthday twins!!! Being that it was my birthday she made me a free coffee. I got an Cold Brew Coffee specially made for me, honestly I forgot the flavor she put in it, but it was so amazing. I like a nice dark rich coffee with no milk or cream in it just a flavor and she nailed it. She shared with me that they get their cold brew coffee specially made for them by a local coffee, roaster, called pinup coffee, which of course I'm going to look into. Beach bum coffee is a small coffee truck that serves amazing. They also are a big supporter of small businesses, so you will fine other little local things that she carries from other small businesses, like candles and cookies amongst other items. Definitely like to support small businesses I even like to support women own small businesses and this falls right into that category so if you're looking for a good coffee and you want to support a small business, please stop by beach bum coffee you will not be disappointed. While you're there, make sure you grab some cookies from Tumbeezy and Friends!!

This place deserves ALL THE STARS! My husband and I drove by this place on our way to the Lynnhaven Mall. We immediately did a turn around to come a try it. We found them on Instagram and noticed they had a soft opening the day before. It was so exciting to be able to try a new business. When I walked up to the window everyone was so excited, and made this experience even more special. The little trailer is so aesthetically pleasing to look at! It's simple with a black and white design, but so modern. They are located in the Harbor Freight parking lot which is great because that means there's lots of parking. So let's get into the coffee! First of all, I just want to mention that there are three cup sizes. I have never been anywhere except for Starbucks that had cups this big. I was in heaven. It was a little difficult choosing what flavor I wanted, but the staff were so helpful. I ended up using the Medusa and Tsunami. Overall, this place is amazing! I think they made it to the list of top favorite coffee shops in the 757. I would recommend this to everybody.

Love love LOVE this coffee truck. Wish they were closer to me in Norfolk and had longer hours but regardless it is worth the drive any time I am determined to have great coffee. Service is always amazing, the barista (I believe to be the owner) is always great at answering questions and making suggestions. She's amazing with kids as well. I bought my daughter a coozie and she offered her "mermaid water" to be able to use her coozie. That made my daughter's morning! Thank you for always being amazing and friendly!

My seasonal peppermint coffee was yummy !!! And they had tons of cookie choices : I got the biscotti cookie wow lots of flavor. The customer service was great really friendly and the other customers were super excited, you can tell they have an established customer base. Cute little trailer bumping out awesome coffee . If you get a chance go grab a coffee . Wish it was on my way to work I would definitely get coffee on the drive to work .

    Rip Tide

Had the best coffee ever at Beach Bum today. If I could give the Rip Tide more than 5 stars I would. I'll definitely be back for more!!

Probably the best coffee I've had in any recent memory and I drink a lot of coffee. The space inside is compact, but they offer a side patio that's covered too! COVA is late to offering coffee, maybe 5 years or so. However, they are established with brewing award winning beer.
