I love that Krem Bakery is owned by a Ukrainian couple. It is easily one of the best bakeries in Virginia Beach. They are IG famous and especially known for their mousse pastries. They get extremely busy in the mornings, and I waited about twenty minutes just to place my order. I definitely recommend going early because they sell out very quickly. I arrived around 11 in the morning and most items were already almost gone. It is unfortunate that they sell out so soon and people who work can't get the good stuff. Hopefully they work on restocking throughout the day The bakery itself is very spacious and cute, making it a great spot if you want to sit down and enjoy your pastries. The place is warm and inviting. As for the food, you will not be disappointed by the taste. Everything is delicious and beautifully made, although it is on the pricey side. I paid thirteen dollars for a single mousse pastry. YIKES RIP MY WALLET

This is one of the best little bakeries in town. The selection is amazing, and they always seem to sell out. So the trick is to get there early. Every time I've been there, the selection varies slightly. And every single pastry I've gotten has been delicious. The lady behind the counter is always so nice and friendly. The bakery itself is very inviting, and always a pleasure to sit and eat. I will say it is pricey, but more than worth it. I look forward to coming back soon.

Krem Bakery & Cafe had some of the most unique cakes I've experienced! I tried the mango, milky girl, and chocolate pill. The mango was by far my favorite! I'm leaning hard into my "not too sweet" phase in my life and the mango hit the nail on the head with this one! Just the right amount of sweetness, texture was fluffy cream with real mango inside, all encased in a chocolate (I think?) shell! I shared with my husband and instantly regretted it haha. We should have gotten 2 lol. The milky girl and chocolate pill were both good too! Milky girl was a little bit sweeter, chocolate pill was very rich! The coffee wasn't bad either! They do offer dairy free milks for alternatives. The salad I would compare to a store-bought packaged salad if I'm being honest, with some fresh shredded chicken on top. The wrap was also not bad. But if I were to come back, it would be strictly for their cakes. I came in on a Saturday morning maybe 20 mins after they opened and they were pretty packed! The seating is first come first serve. To order your food you just go up to the counter, select your desserts with one person, and if you're ordering a drink or any breakfast items you order those with the person at the cash register. The line was almost through the door when I came, I'd love to see a more organized structure if it remains that busy because it blocked the doorway for people wanting to go in or out. The vibes were modernly elegant! Definitely a cute spot to hang out and grab a nice dessert. They are a bit pricey as well, but I'd definitely come back to try more items on their dessert menu :)

Wow! The young lady helping us was amazing! She explained each dessert to us and what included inside even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon , I can tell the passion through the description she was telling us. The desserts were amazing, the quality is insane and all looked so pretty! My fave out of the bunch was the chocolate pill! The inside was clean and modern. I loved the display of treats in the glass window. Next time I plan on getting there early.

I waited entirely too long to come to Krem. It's a literal hidden spot close to Lynnhaven and VB Blvd, in an unassuming strip mall. They serve salads and sandwiches, but their pastries are so delicate and delicious. It was close to noon on a Saturday, and they were almost sold out of many of their offerings. I have learned my lesson - get here early to have optimum selection!

Strawberry tart, pecan tart, strawberry cake and croissant.

What a delicious bakery! It's a bit of a drive for us but it's totally worth going. We first tried the croissant and immediately thought this was the best one we've ever tasted. The strawberry tart was amazing. The strawberry cake was okay. It lacked flavor. But the best one out of the bunch was the pecan tart. It was so flavorful and the textures were amazing. Definitely plan to go back again. We also got their lattes and those were really good.

I heard about Krem from an influencer (S.O. Stormy Blue) who tried the viral fruit - mouse cakes or whatever they are called but just an hour after seeing they were fully stock they were sold out- TESTIMONY ON HOW GOOD THE PASTRIES ARE. This was at 10:30 AM!! Instead, I got two of what was available which was a Walnut pastry and the white cake with the strawberries. SO GOOD! I would steal the walnut one from a child- that's how scrumptious it was. Both desserts weren't overly sweet, which I loved! I also got the croque monsieur and WOW!!! So freaking good. Like next level delicious. The absolute BEST one I've ever had and that includes the one I had in Paris, France. I will absolutely be returning to try the fruit cake mousse things and have another "when harry met sally moment" with the croque monsieur..lol Grace, thank you for your help!!

The deserts start this delicious cafe experience. It's hard to decide what to eat when you're looking at yummy cakes. I went with the Ukraine pancake. Delicious. Very fresh. Had some special tea as well I can't remember if there was a kids menu or not. The vibe was 80s to me which I enjoyed. The menu all looks really good and I'll have to go back for more!!

I've been getting weekly desserts every tuesday or wednesday since October. Though they have some timing and stocking issues, I'll never have anything bad to say about the desserts themselves. Absolutely amazing. My favorites are the blueberry mousse and mango mousse. This week, I got 5. I got to try the lemon tart and OMG, sooo good. Orange one is my least favorite only because its just whipped cream and oranges. I would looooove if they added some sort of orange mousse in there, or maybe even added a raspberry mousse pastry to the menu, similar to the blueberry. Overall these past few visits have been great.

I finally got to try the beautiful and delicious Krem! And it's definitely worth the hype. If you are a fan of fresh, decadent, thoughtful flavoring this is your place. The cafe itself is beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable about what they are selling and very kind given the influx of new customers they're getting it is overwhelming but the woman in the front was calm and cool and ready to answer any questions you had. With the influx of new customers they're selling out in their first two hours of opening so make a plan to get down there early! Take a friend, sit in, get a tea or coffee and take it slow.

I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

Everything looked lovely, it was hard to decide on what to get. She had also just made some fresh pastries. I decided on some ube pendesal, and as I'm a sucker for tiramisu I also asked for that. She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!
