Flour Child Bakery has everything from cookies, cakes, scones, brownies, cake pops to pies! They also have gluten free baked goods and it is truly the very best! You cannot tell it is GF. The staff is nice and helpful to whatever questions you have. I order cupcakes often and the flavors are so yum! Very moist and not too sweet. This is definitely the best bakery around!

These cookies are my favorite pick me up on my way home from work after a long workday. The cashier is always nice and just walking into the shop Makes me feel happier. Not to mention how much happier the cookies make me too!

Small place in a small building complex next to a salon, massage parlor and a tap house. But there's nothing small about the shout out to flower child, tie dye, peace and love hippie days! Love it! Decor is on point. All kinds of cake pops and jumbo (really means jumbo) cupcakes, but 5 get 6th free. There seems to be a good following of patrons. Service is quick though the line was a tad long. I ordered an apple cake to go. Got home, snapped a picture and...DELICIOUS! The apple cake was moist, had the right amount of apple chunks and whatever secret ingredient. Will definitely come back to try the cake pops and brownie bites.

The best cake pops hands down!! Their customer service is okay but they're not really enthusiastic but hey could been a bad day !

We live in the OV/East beach area and see this bakery set up all the time but we never stopped by- BIG mistake! We stopped in on a Saturday to grab emergency cupcakes. A friend was having an impromptu birthday gathering and needed something sweet. I called several places in the area and no one had what we were looking for on hand.... Until we got to Flour Child. Not only were these cupcakes the perfect sweet treat, they were reasonably priced and adorable! She had quite a few options, I only wish we could have tried them all. The grasshopper was easily the best choc/mint cupcake I've ever had. Think girlscouts thin mint in cupcake form. The mint icing wasn't weird or overpowering at all. The red velvet was my personal favorite- her cream cheese butter cream was excellent! She was so patient with us while we picked out our cupcakes. Service with a smile! This is a small business in our area that I hope stays around.

Flavor, Quality, and Variety is great. I highly recommend getting a variety pack. I have gotten a bit of everything for myself and best thing is buying sweet treats as gifts. My whole family have enjoyed taste testing hot cocoa bombs, cake pops, pies and alot more. My favorite changes with each visit. Today my favorite is the coconut creme pie. I was first turned onto this particular bakery because of the hot cocoa bombs. They come in all different flavors and all of them have been great. Sweetness is perfect and quality is rich and delicious. Even better is the pretty packaging. They make great gifts. OH the Cake Pops. Talk about variety. This is when you want to get a box of POPS. The most fun is picking out all the different flavors. I would tell you specific favorites but with each person their favorite is different. There must be at least 20 different ones. My faves are the wicked(chocolate and red hot cinnamon), cookies and cream, and the almond joy. My husband has like all of them. My mother-in-law likes the eggnog, gingerbread, and red velvet. You will have to pick your own favorites. The brownie bites are brownies dipped in chocolate and fancy sprinkles on top. They have a stick you hold to eat them. Really cool because you don't touch it to eat it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the brownie bites. If you like chocolate this is a must try.

Oh my gosh, what a total delight! I stopped in after work to buy some sweets for my honey and I was worried that there wouldn't be much selection since it was later in the day. I was wrong! The two large display cases were absolutely oozing with the sugar-filled morsels of your dreams. I selected 8 cake pops of various flavors, a chocolate drizzle cheesecake brownie, and a peanut butter chocolate cupcake. I'm not gonna lie, I may have eaten one of the cake pops on the drive home before they got to their giftee. It was worth it. I will be back! There was such a huge selection, decent prices, and dayummm was everything good! Plus, the lady behind the counter was so friendly and quick!

Cute bake shop, lots of flavors and selection. My favorite is the banana pudding and cupcakes. The apple cake was extremely sweet and was falling apart, so i did not enjoy it as much, but thats just me. I also asked about modifying the amount of sugar used for a cake i ordered for someone that has diabetes and I was given a hard no. Oh well...will post pictures of the cake when I pick it up.

Back in town for JeepFest & our hotel's breakfast wasn't all that so when I mentioned to bestie…read morethat I would be hunting down a pastry while her and my godson were on their first beach cruise Saturday morning she asked me to wait so they could join me. I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

Everything looked lovely, it was hard to decide on what to get. She had also just made some fresh pastries. I decided on some ube pendesal, and as I'm a sucker for tiramisu I also asked for that. She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!
