The food, the service and the atmosphere were all lacking. The best thing about the place is the store.

There was an older woman and a girl probably in their 20s. They were sitting at one of the booths and at first acted like they're weren't going to get up and walk to the register. So I said, "hi, I wanted to get an order to go." Older lady got up and started taking my order, but the younger woman kept mean mugging me. They spoke limited English and I speak limited Spanish, but we were able to Spanglish it out. I ordered 1 pupusa and 2 carne asada tacos. She encouraged me to get 2 pupusas, so I figured they would be small. After I ordered, I went out to the car to call my husband to kill some time. When I went back in to get my food all eyes were on me again, even the other customers. The younger employee was at the counter taking a phone order. She pointed at my bag, still mean mugging. No one said "thank you" or "have a nice day". I just walked out with my food. The food was good. The carne asada meat was very well seasoned, though the corn tortillas could've been heated up more. The bean and cheese papusa was delicious, but huge, which made me wonder why she insisted I get 2. I couldn't fit the second one in my tummy. So, the food is good, but I don't know if I'll go back. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Manners transcend the language barrier. A smile. A thank you is all it takes.

We ate here due to a lucky mistake - we were looking for a Mexican restaurant called La Hacienda…read moreactually. But once we realized they have delicious pupusas, which we love, we decided to stay and so glad we did! I ordered the chicken and cheese, as well as jalapeño and cheese pupusas, which came with pickled slaw and a yummy sauce. My husband got their flautas. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Service was friendly and prompt, and the decor - colorful! We enjoyed it very much!

Okay so there is a disclaimer before you read my review. I didn't come here to eat. I was door…read moredashing, had to wait for a delivery order. So to kill time waiting, I walked around to check out this place. It's a restaurant also offering Latin baked treats (donuts, cookies, etc). Then I saw in the refrigerated section what looked like flan in a plastic cup. I got one. So this review is purely for the flan. What's different is that they mixed gelatin with the egg custard so the texture is firmer. Not bad. There is another variety that even has different flavored gelatin bits in the flan. The place is clean, ambiance is lively with loud Latin music playing. Bright ambiance with natural lighting coming through floor to ceiling windows. The hostess:cashier is friendly. I looked at the menu over the counter and they serve what they call suchos which seems to be bread with marinated steak, spicy hotdog, chorizo with all the delicious toppings. I will definitely come back to try! But wait for it - though I didn't try anything for my tummy to enjoy, I left with my heart full. Because I waited so long for the door dash order, the hostess quietly filled a paper bag with a baked treat and handed it to me. I asked if it was part of the customer order, she said it was actually for me! Now that's a lot of heart and consideration. For that I give service 5 stars!

Sophia and I ate lunch here on a pretty weekend day. This was actually the 2nd time we ate here…read more Back in 2017 or 2018, we had lunch with friends from a social group. So, let's find out how the visit went. There weren't a lot of people inside and there was only one waitress attending to tables. They have a bar area, tables and booths. We decided to eat near the entrance to their supermarket. It took a while for us to roam through the menu, but decided on what we wanted a few minutes after getting seates. I chose a 1/2 chicken with two sides (fried yucca and french fries). The Peruvian chicken was pretty good and flavorful. Both the fried yucca and fries could've been seasoned more, but were plentiful. I actually saved half of my meal for takeout and tasted well for dinner. Unfortunately, the bad part of our visit was the decor. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has seen better days. Seats at the booth are torn up.....literally. The tables are outdated. The floor is in pretty bad shape, especially near the bar area. And in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser was not connected to the wall and instead, laying on the floor. It's not comfortable washing your hands and then turning it sideways where you can get paper. I really don't mean to sound mean,, but the decor alone would turn folks away. It needs a big renovation all around. Hopefully, down the road, they can upgrade or they may become a thing of the past :(
