Efficient ordering , beautiful cakes delicious every single time - we order from KISS Cake for all special occasions. The holes in the cake are from bday candles.

Traditional fruit and cream cake. Filled with strawberry and mango. It is so light, delicate and not too sweet. Incredible!

This little bakery is a wonderful place! My parents unwittingly walked in bought a cake here for my 30th birthday (which, I lament, was almost 8 years ago!) and we were so impressed with the cake that I have been coming back ever since. I recall years ago when the little girl used to translate for her mom (In guessing the bakery owner and her daughter) and now that little girl is grown up! She has wonderful customer service skills and her mother's baking has only gotten even better as time has passed. This tiny shop has become a tradition for my family- we purchase their cakes for birthdays and now we get one for every Christmas. The cakes are always gorgeous, delicious and so thoughtfully made. Do yourself a favor and order something from Kiss Cake, you won't be disappointed!

Yikes. This bakery is bare. I thought there'd be more of a selection of baked goods here. My companion and I got to the store, saw their lackluster offerings and our first thought was to just leave. We didn't know we both thought this until after, when we were in the car. But we didn't leave, since we came all the way there to buy some Asian baked goods. Looking over the selection, we settled on some buttermilk bread, cheese bread, and red bean bread. We also bought a tiramisu cake. Their selection is not really pleasing to the eye. And even the bakery had a funny smell to it. There was some kind of air freshener smell. They had free sample bowls out for a few of what they were offering, but they were all empty with nothing but crumbs. (BTW, having no free samples in no way factored in to the overall yelp rating). Their entire selection barely filled up two rows bookshelves. The rest of the bakery was empty. I mean, they even had a lounge area. On to the food. The tiramisu wasn't too bad. It was creamy, but it also had a touch of sourness to it. Really, the tiramisu I get from the Fresh Thyme supermarket is way better than Kiss Cake's. The baked goods we got were fine. It helped satisfy our Asian baked goods craving.

Grand opening today!

Kiss cake is a newly opened Asian bakery in the same strip mall as CAM and Sichuan Chili. If just one more Asian business opened up there, itd be an Asian central in Cincinnati. The owner is a mother who opened a bakery, with room to expand, to please her daughter, who was unsatisfied with the lack of Asian bakeries in Cincinnati. And thus, Kiss Cake is a mothers response to her daughters persistent request. All the cakes, breads, and cookies are typical Asian flavors, and tend to lean more towards traditional Chinese baked goods. She hand makes everything the day of (as explained by the owner) and they contain only the simplest ingredients with no preservatives. While not huge, its quite a big selection considering the man power behind the goods, and she is really representing a very under, or rather, un represented segment of nourishment options in the city. Don't come expecting the typical Asian bakeries of bigger cities, but come with the expectation that your basic needs will be met and you'll be excited that Kiss Cake exists as a benchmark for more varieties and hopefully a stronger Asian business presence in Cincinnati.

Truly an amazing place! Inside is pretty barren in appearance but over the past year that I have been going here they have been trying to make it less so. Regardless, Kiss Cake is one of the best bakeries in town. They have little treats you can grab ranging from sweet to savory and all at crazy affordable prices. They also (perhaps most importantly) do cakes! I've ordered three birthdays worth from here and they are always beautifully decorated and taste amazing. The owners are the sweetest most understanding people I've ever met. Ordering a cake is easy and totally worth it. Storytime: I ran in yesterday in desperate need for a cake, but I didn't order one. I got way too lucky. The owner gave me one she had actually made earlier and didn't even charge me extra. I felt so guilty about it that I gave her a big tip as thanks. Like I said, they are an amazing bakery and worth it every time.

I'm from LA and it's my first time to order birthday cake for my Dad's birthday from this bakery and I have to say my family was impressed. My cousin said the place was small but it doesn't matter they said the cake was super delicious not too sweet and they didn't know there's a Chinese bakery around the area. Ha! The cake was beautifully decorated, nicely done. My family can't get enough, they said it was so good. They can't wait to try the other flavors. Now, they know where to get their BIRTHDAY CAKE from now on. Thank you!

The Chinese sponge cake was just ok, it was a little dry and I think the one in Columbus is better.

This place is heaven!…read more I am not the biggest donut person so I love a place that has donuts and baked goods alike! This place doesn't disappoint - there is so much to choose from and the options rotate daily ! I personally love the blueberry fritters - They are huge and layers of blueberry yet they are only 3 bucks (that's so cheap). The strawberry cheese pastry was also delicious and flaky. The only thing I ordered that I wasn't a huge fan of was the pretzel - it was big and the price was right but it didn't taste better than a wawa pretzel twist. The donuts also come warm since the case seems to be a warming case which is a nice touch. The workers are so nice and they will explain every flavor to you if needed since there are no labels. The place is small and so is the parking lot.

I went late on a Sunday morning and the small parking lot next door was full. There was a short line in the small shop ahead of me and some of the best sellers were sold out. The person who helped me answered all my questions and I enjoyed everything I tried, including a small cinnamon roll-like pastry and palmier. Best of all, I bought 3 items and the total was less than $6! I look forward to coming again to try more.

It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
