Don't be afraid to get your KINYOBI now! Easy, delicious Korean food with a twist that has remained consistent in flavor and presentation. My husband and I started ordering from here several years ago and it's become one of our favorite take-out spots in all of NJ. The Korean Chicken Wings in KINYOBI Hot Sauce are amazingly crispy and tender. They have a nice sweet spice that doesn't blow out your pallet. I could eat those wings every day and never get sick of them - they're that good. We usually go back and forth between the K-town Ramen and the Ugly Ramen which are equally delicious. The K-town broth is rich in flavor and spice & the noodles have great texture/taste. They are quick and efficient, always providing great service in a casual atmosphere. A 5-star experience every time.

My partner in crime and I stumbled upon Kinyobi after a long day of errands. I will mention that it was hard to find parking. We ate inside the restaurant. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable and clean. The order taker was kind and pleasant, gave us an ample amount of napkins, and checked how we liked everything. We ordered crispy chicken, bulgolgi, and ugly ramen. My partner liked the food more than I did. I enjoyed the crispy chicken and ramen but found the bulgolgi to be abit chewy. I would come back to give Kinyobi another try. Their menu is interesting and one of a kind.

Came after work on a Tuesday and the restaurant itself was empty, which was perfect for us to dine in. There were quite a few takeout orders and there seemed to be a relatively steady stream of people coming in to pickup their orders (always a promising sign). I had the kimchi fries and the K town Ramen, which were both delicious! The fries were perfectly crispy and the pulled pork and Kim chi and bbq sauce/sour cream/cheese made for a very tasty combination. The Kim chi seemed like it was roasted/sautéed down, so I wished more of the tangy/spicy kimchi flavors were still apparent, but it was still a great dish regardless. The ramen was also very flavorful, noodles had great texture, and it was the perfect amount of spice. A friend tried their chicken wings and the Ugly Ramen and said they were both yummy too.

I was driving down Kinderkamack heading towards Hackensack. I was hungry. I needed a snack. Korean fried chicken? That'd be whack. OK all rhyming aside, this place was highly rated on yelp close to my family house in Dumont so I rolled the dice. The wings were amazing. Service was fast super friendly. Chicken was hot, crispy, delicious. I had some kimchi on the side. I scarfed down the wings in about 10 minutes . Next time I find myself in Bergen County I would not hesitate to get more wings from this great mom and pop joint.

The food portions and taste are decent, but the price does not feel worth it. I got the soba special and my friend got the bibimbap. They were just, OK. There are no Banchan provided. It seemed like there's no bathroom but I can't confirm. The staff are friendly and seem to know their regulars well. There's a slight discount for using cash instead of card as you can find in most places in Hackensack. You order at the front and there isn't necessarily someone to wait on you. It's a cozy place and I could see this being someone's go to in the area, but driving out a little bit more from the area and there's better Korean dishes for the price.

UGLY Ramen. That's the good kind of ugly. It was a unique taste, not so much protein but it's saucy. Personally it's my favorite and is my go to. I ordered a bowl for myself and insisted I couldn't finish and can share with my friend while he tries something else on the menu. He took a few bites, looked at me, and said next time I'm ordering my own! 5/5 The kimchi fries were a 3/5. I had better in ktown and in westwood. I'd say it's missing more kimchi. The fries and cheese felt separate rather than a melting pot of cheese potato goodness. The sliders were very good. They were generous with the pork. 4/5 Will be back and try new items! There's a private parking lot (4-5 cars only) in the back but you can also park on the street.

After a long day of shopping with my back and legs achy, last thing I need was to make my way home to have dinner. Pulled out the yelp and looked . Found this nice little place and ordered the same order as the first review I saw and was not disappointed. In fact the kimchi fries amazingly hit all the flavor profiles all at once while doing what fried normally do which is give you that satisfaction.

Decor/Food Packaging: This time I ordered for pickup so I was able to get a photo of the interior. Kinyobi is taking their covid measures seriously, so that's good. They have plexi glass up and they only allow 1 customer into the store at a time. Hand sanitizer is available by the card reader so you can sanitize after you pay. And their packaging is great! For some reason, I just love that they tie your bag with a tiny string ribbon. Food: On this visit, I ordered 2 K-Town Ramen and 1 burrito w/fries. My order was missing the rice cakes, but the 2nd order had them so I was able to try the full experience. At first I thought the poached egg was missing, but later realized it's below the ramen noodles. The broth was delicious. Overall, the food was very flavorful :)

The decor of Kinyobi is simple, cozy but narrow-spaced with limited seats. Outdoor dining is currently not available. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The options on the menu were limited. We had their Galbi Taco and Spicy Pork plate. The food was overall delicious and flavorful with reasonable prices. We loved their fusion cuisine. The taco was appetizing and greatly matched with Korean style steak. The spicy pork was too hot for me but great with rice.

I wish I lived closer to this place! The food here is absolutely amazing!! I live probably an hour away but wanted to go to IKEA for some shopping, after shopping my sister and I were starving so we looked up somewhere to go. I am so happy this was the place we picked to try. NJ still has no seating inside so we got our orders to go, aka to eat in the car so we tried to get things car eating friendly. We started with the kimchi fries. My sister and I both agreed that Kinyobi gave us the best fries we might have ever had. Crispy, warm, insides still soft. So freaking good. On top of the fries just being amazing the topping were also great. Pulled pork was cooked very well, super tasty! We asked for sour cream but to add spicy mayo instead. The spicy may just took this to a whole new level. Would 100% recommend. We also both ordered Bibimbap. I got the spicy chicken version and she got the bulgogi. She had really good things to say about the bulgogi. I was obsessed with the spicy chicken. Not crazy spicy but definitely had a kick. With all the toppings, so many different prepared veggies, every bite tasted different and everything was good. I loved how these both came with a miso soup on the side, just a little extra but to a great meal. Can't wait for the next time I have to hit up a store near by, will definitely be coming back.

With a little help from... yelp I wanted to expand my lunch options here around the old office (oh yeah plus a little mention on nj.com doesn't hurt). Nothing about this place is new or something not done before (Kogi in Cali for example) however they do it well (and pay attention to the little details! - important). I took out but my first impression of the place was like many you would see in a city (ahem, like NYC). About the size of a tollbooth (ok, slightly bigger) but once you step inside the space you feel transported to something above street level. Cute decor with the stone work and neat fans above... and a smile to greet you in the door. Now I don't care about style above substance but it is nice to have both eh? My order was carefully packaged in a paper bag with the coyly little "Kinyobi" stamp on it... and off I went back to my office to munch on down. (They packed everything with care and precision - little details ! - like cutting a vent hole in the top of the take out boxes - yay!) Personally I ordered the Spicy Chicken Bibimbap. Standard fare for Korean eats to be sure (hey, I didn't quite feel up to fusion, sue me). Everything was good here, maybe a little light on the chicken but with all the veggies, fried egg, purple rice and miso soup there was plenty there (especially for lunch). I had to dump in all the guanjan sauce for a needed kick. I've had better and I've had worse - this was on the very good spectrum though. A coworker opted for the Kimchi pancake, she raved, I drooled... maybe next time on that one. I ordered a Bulgogi Burrito for my brother (knowing he would probably dig it). I stole the fries though (haha). And speaking of those fries, definitely done correct (fried twice I bet) - they were tasty. My brother inhaled the burrito and commented on how "mexican" it was (I didn't give him a preamble on the type of Korean place I ordered from). But judging by the fact that I think he even ate some of the paper - this bulgogi burrito met his approval. I will definitely be back (because honestly that Ramen looks bangin! - and lots of other stuff to try) read more

Tonight my husband and I tried this new place. It was nice to see a Korean restaurant close to home. We always had to go to Fort Lee or Palisades Park or even Queens New York for good Korean food. We ordered the fried dumplings kimchi pancake. The dumplings is a must the show delicious. The kimchi pancake could've had a little more batter. My husband had the spicy chicken bibimbap he loved it and I had the kalbi platter mine came with the red rice kimchi miso soup and it came with a slaw. Lots of meat wow very generous. The kalbi I believe could've used a little more garlic and marinate a little longer. But it was pretty good tender enough. I love the red rice I ate the whole box. I would definitely come back next time I have Korean food craving. I hope they do well. read more

Place is all I need I'm so glad there are so many more Korean American places popping up .I can't explain how happy it made me to come to this place .. Awesome new Korean casual restaurant. I've eaten here once a week since they opened and Kinyobi is consistently amazing. Top quality, fresh food, and delicious. Great containers for take out too. They separate the ingredients for the ramen and bim bim bap well so you can piece your meal together at home and it keeps it very fresh. The ramen is amazing. Fresh noodles, spicy delicious broth, and fresh ingredients. Just amazing. Bim Bim Bap with bulgogi is perfect. A big bowl of fresh, delicious ingredients and it looks picture perfect. Bim bim bap with spicy chicken is pretty good too. Kimchi is perfect. Love me some good kimchi and this kimchi is great. Dumplings are very good. Very fresh, taste recently made and not frozen. I am making my way through their menu with something new every week but that ramen and bim bim bap is so great it is hard to decide. Still need to try the chicken wings, kimchi fries, and bulgogi burrito but I will get there. Workers/owners are very friendly and polite. Take out food is well prepared and well packaged so you don't get home to a mushy mess. I wish these folks the best success and hope Kinyobi will last in this location for many years. Just a wonderful little restaurant with amazing, delicious, an flavorful food. read more

I just moved into the area and am so excited I found this place. I'm new to Korean food and this place is delicious! I've tried multiple things and they are all great. My hardest decision is what to get because everything is so good. Lots of times I'll order a couple items and have the left overs for lunch. Eat here you will love it! read more

So me and my family were having a road trip in Flushing, NY and the mall in New Jersey near this location. As we were wrapping up our trip we wanted to find a good place to eat before heading back to Boston. We researched the area and found this place and all I gotta say is this place is BOMB!!! The Ugly Ramen was god like, the Kimchi French Fries were amazing! Everything we had here was amazing but what really was a game changer was the little finger napkins they have for eating wings! Stumbled into this place after a day of shopping in the area. Absolutely delicious food. My picky seven years old ate everything in front of him and even complimented the chef at the end of the meal. Holy crap, the food absurdly good. Like... REALLY good. Having lived in Hoboken for 5 years, this spot would kill it in the Hoboken or even the city. The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly. My wife and I have gone a couple times already, trying different things, and we can't get enough. In those couple visits we had the Bulgogi burrito, the spicy pork bap, dumplings, k-town ramen, all recommended! I hear the ugly ramen is top notch, that's next for us. read more

my wife and i stopped in for the first time last night. what a breath of fresh air. its small, unpretentious but beautifully furnished space belies the great food that comes out of the kitchen. we enjoy many different asian cuisines, and it's great to now have a go-to korean place without having to traipse to fort lee or palisades park. healthy and delicious are sometimes exclusive terms, but not here. the food was fresh, served to us in eco friendly chinet (except the miso soup which came in a styrofoam bowl--ouch). but it didn't deter from the experience. they were happy to accomodate all levels of spiciness--i love the heat but my wife needs it mild. no problem. katy (a co-owner) served us and was exremely friendly and eager to answer any questions we had, as well as give us a good idea of their philosophy, which involves not simply making korean food for koreans, but making it accessible (and non-threatening) to everyone. obviously they're on the right track. this is exactly the kind of place hackensack needs more of. needless to say, we'll be back. looking forward to working thru the entire menu. great job guys.. read more

I like the food but nothing out of ordinary of Korean fast food. They have to go plates and cups serving for dine in. It may be out of their convenient. No in restaurant restroom which may not be a big deal but we were just going to wash our hands. The tips pre printed calculations started from 18% which I have not seen in casual dining establishment so called fast food place with paper plates and cups. read more

Tiny eat in place with a few chairs but very friendly staff. The prices are great and the Ugly ramen is a definite must try. The Korean Mexican fusion of the bulgogi burrito is 10/10. Definitely going here more often! read more

Love this little, and I mean little place. The food is really tasty. I've had the chicken wings, which could be a bit crisper but the sauce was nice.The pulled pork kimchee fries were very good. My favorite is the spicy pork bap. It comes with kimchee, spicy pork and some purple or emperor's rice. The owner is SUPER nice and friendly. Love supporting small businesses like this. read more

So great to have Korean Fried Chicken right in Hackensack. The staff is super friendly and open decently late--on more than a few occasions I've impulsively schlepped over just before nine to pick up something to tide me over while working late. The ramen offerings aren't bad although I wish they'd pay a little more attention to the broth itself. I also wish they'd lean in a little more to some traditional Korean dishes, since those shine the brightest in terms of authenticity. How about some Gimbap or or Sundae to go!? read more

Many restaurants come to this address and fail because of the location but I really hope that bad trend ends here because Kinyobi was great! Dumplings were amazing and the wings were great too, tried the beef Bimbap bowl that was good too. Will definitely be coming back here. read more

This is a lovely addition to the Hackensack area. They are very friendly, and the food is prepared quickly. My favorite dishes thus far are the spicy chicken bap and spicy chicken bibimbap. The bibimbap is the lighter/fresher dish between the two. Their chicken wings are also good! I do wish their bulgogi had more of the traditional spicy sweet flavor, but the burrito was still good. read more

Food was very good. I had a wrap and wings. I was very pleased with both. Service was warm and friendly. The restroom situation was a bit odd as you had to leave the restaurant walk outside to the back of the property and upstairs. The place must have been a renovated apartment as the bathroom had a shower in it. The floor felt like I was in my buddy's apartment. Everything was extremely modern and clean though. read more

Service was super quick, food came out in about 8 minutes piping hot. The inside is rather small but a few dining tables, i'd say it seems more like a takeout place with the front counter set up.
