takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but I am honestly so fed up with this place. The first issue happened when I got a pedicure. I was chemically burned on my toe because the callus remover was left on for too long and burned my skin. No one tried to make it right or offered any type of resolution. I promised myself I wouldn't come back after that. Unfortunately, I really needed my nails done, so I gave them another chance this past Friday and got a white shellac manicure. It's now Sunday, and my nails are already lifting and peeling off. I noticed she applied oil to my nails before putting on the polish, which likely contributed to it not adhering properly. On top of that, the polish application itself was terrible. The coats are extremely thick, uneven, and honestly look like they were done by a 10-year-old. Between being chemically burned and now receiving a manicure that's falling apart within two days, I can confidently say I will not be returning. read more

Our manicures felt SO rushed. The lady in the photo didn't wait in between coats to dry anything, she just caked on the polish and top coat. She was rude and rushed through everything. If you come, definitely don't sit in her chair. My technician was rude and rushed, even though it was very quiet in there. She dug her fingernails into my skin a few times, no apologies, and it felt strangely vindictive. She was incredibly rude to my son too, not even believing he's under 10. (He turns 9 this May.) To that end, I believe she overcharged me. I can absolutely say that I had the best pedicure Ia've ever had here today! Jeanine did a top notch job on my tough feet! She was talkative, friendly and genuinely sincere in the taking care of my feet. She took her time unlike many nail salons, I actually felt like I was getting special high end treatment. All of the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is very professional. The salon was super clean and they held to the highest level COVID standards. You can also request appointments with the staff you like as opposed to being assigned to the next staff member waiting which is nice. Once again, Amy was able to give me the absolute best dip nails! She knows I am very particular about my nails (length, thickness, shape) and I always leave with 10 perfect nails. I can go a full 3 weeks without any lifting whatsoever. She is also the sweetest person and I'm so thrilled I found her! Today I took my daughter with me for a full dip set and Kelly did a superb job for her. We did have appointments, although they welcome walk-ins. They are so conveniently located in the GVR area. She drilled so hard she broke a part of one of my new nails she just put on. She was then even more frustrated with me. She rushed through the rest, still being rough. The nail tech said she would try that, instead I showed her something more common and she said"Yes that's simple I can do that much easier". By 2pm her next appointment comes in and she begins to rush doing the nail art and is evident when I go wash my hands she's already preparing for the next person. When the receptionist tells me it's $77 with a10% discount I laughed and said for this crap? She looks at my nails and says "Oh that's unacceptable" I'll give you 12% off, Then the tech comes and speaks in their language and still charges me full price. So I said oh I'll pay but you will fix this before I leave. She had the audacity to say I will be charged the 10% that I didn't ask for that they volunteered for me. What a rip off. My experience at this salon was disappointing. The woman at the salon was rude on the phone and talking about me to another client when I arrived. She said my nail tech wasn't going to show up and she said so with little care. I love supporting small business and giving people the benefit of the doubt, but her behavior was unkind and unprofessional and I took my money elsewhere. I'm going to give this a one star because the customer service was just awful! I wanted a basic pedicure and the guy that did my nails was very rude. I asked him if he could file my nails down and he got up very rude way . I asked him if he could do file my toe nail a little bit more and he said "Let me do my job" I was very shocked because I am paying for service . My husband also came and they did a sloppy job, they didn't cut his toenail cuticles. There was also a couple next to us and they saw how bad they were treating me and they just shook their head. Well today will be my 3rd time coming here. They don't honor your appointment. I asked before making an appointment how long it will take not only did they go past my appt time but did not do what I went in for. I went to get my pedicure and base nails. Only got a pedicure it lasted 1 hr. I waited for 30+ to get my rebase, but people with no appt kept getting serviced. I ended up leaving and rescheduling for a Monday. I came for Monday appt and was seated 30 mins later. Place is great, nails are done great but they should really work on getting appointments in correctly. They should also be more friendlier when talking to costumers, they come across rude when scheduling. I will be trying other nail salons. read more

I used to love this place, I recommended so many family and friends to this place. But ever since they got busy, they started doing a sloppy job. Yesterday, I got a pedicure and the guy who did my pedicure he was very rude and he missed my pinky toe nail. I told him that he missed my pinky toe and he said "You dont have a toe nail there" with a very bad attitude . I told him that in the past they always color my pinky toe. He got up and did a sloppy job. When my service was done, i put my sandals on and i messed up my toe nail on the accident. I asked if he could do it again and he said " I told you not to get up!!!" I asked again if he could do it and he did it very sloppy and my nail looked really bad , so i asked if he could remove the polish and redo it and he said "No" . Went to this nail salon last month and had an ok experience. nails turned out fine but not what I asked for, returned yesterday after getting a text for a follow up appointment. I came in for a full set and the nail tech who's name I can't remember (heavier set younger tech) quite obviously had a really bad attitude which is highly unacceptable. the worst part was that she was obviously very sick, coughing, sneezing sniffing and sweating and popping cough drops. she didn't really talk much during my appointment which I appreciate since she was ill. she did a fine job on the nails but in the era that we live in customer service and health and safety should be a top priority of any business especially in the covid climate we are still navigating. I wasn't going to write a review but I couldn't forget how this appointment made me feel. When I return to get my nails done i'll certainly have them done by a different tech. Lastly there are much nicer nail salons in the Denver area with exceptional customer service. this just happened to be close to where I shop for groceries. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews since it's very difficult for me to be fully unsatisfied here I am! I have been going to king davis nails for 1 year since they had different owners. The quality of service and quality of nails has never been up to par compared to what I'm used to but since I moved in the area it's the most convenient place to go to. It's 2 mins alway from my home. The only reason why I chose to still go there. Today I went in for a full set and scheualded a 5:30 appointment. I arrived right on time and they still weren't ready so asked me to wait another 20-30 min. So I did. No big deal ( even though I scheduled an appointment ) So 6 pm comes and they still aren't ready and clearly under staffed but stilll I'm being patient. 6:15 comes and they finally sit me down at someone's booth and she starts putting foil on my nails with acetone to soak my gel nails ( the normal procedure ) mind you she has a horrible attitude while this ( not sure why ) then tells me to go sit back in the waiting area while my fingers soak in acetone. I'm fully aware this process doesn't take more than few min. But they let me sit in the waiting area for way too long with my fingers/finger nails being soaked in acetone to the point it started burning so bad cause they took that that long!! Then at the same time I was thinking of saying forget it another worker walks to me and says well what should I do?? I said I don't know my appointment was an hour ago literally and now my fingers are burning in these foils. She gave me a blank stare and said nothing not even an apology so I said forget it and took the foils off and politely told them " my appointment was over an hour.. and my finger burn now so I l threw the foils in the trash grabbed my stuff and they we're still silent ( not surprised ) they are known for shitty service.. Thanks for nothing Maybe be just a little professional and considerate next time with other clients I will never go again. Too bad David isn't the owner anymore. I went in at 6pm, I called ahead of time to make sure that they had enough time to do my nails as they close at 7pm. I usually do this to ensure their willingness to do my nails, I didn't want them to do a rushed job since it was almost closing time. Anyway, against my better judgment, I went to this place because it's super close to home. I attached a picture of what I asked for in pink vs what I ended up with... I really wanted to like them, but I personally think they look awful. I was going to say something while she was doing them, but thought I'd be patient since she still had some work to do. When she told me that she was done, she continued to say that they were beautiful now.... Like what? There were two other nail techs looking at my nails... there's no way they all thought these bulky uneven nails were okay.... However.... It had been about a whole hour and 40min... & they had just expressed that they'd been working since 9am & couldn't wait to get home... so I felt like an a**hole saying that I didn't like them.. I then went on to pay $85 (supposedly after a discount) & their tablet gave me the option to tip 10%, 15% or 20%. I couldn't believe that I had to suck it up and deal with these nails so I tipped 10%... which was just a little over $12. I can tell the woman wasn't impressed at all, as she did take longer than 7pm to do my nails... unfortunately I don't have time to get my nails done until after work... usually at 6pm. So I make sure to typically tip 25-30% but how could I do that knowing that I'm stuck with nails that I'm gonna have to get redone asap... Anyway, I personally can't recommend this places work... I get that it might be because they were in a hurry... but if that's the case they should just turn customers down instead of giving these type of results. read more

Two employees to do a French Shellac order, I don't think I need to request a service w/o the bubbles after the second time you lost me, I felt frustrated, not upset, I called because the longer I looked at the nails the more frustrating I was, I didn't request a 50% off, I paid without asking for a discount, I left the store I called to inform that even though I pay, the finish service was not worth the price. Horrible experience. Didn't care about appointment time. Salon was dirty. I was supposed to get a gel pedicure, gel manicure and an eyebrow wax. The start of my pedicure was so obscure, I knew things wouldn't end well. I told the lady to just do regular polish. When she put the top coat on she just casually spread the nail polish all of my toes. It really looked like a 5 year old could have done better. Anyways, I ended up paying for the pedicure and leaving. My normal nail salon was fully booked for the day. This is the last time I try anywhere else.
