I've patronized this shop for about 6 years since I moved to this neighborhood and it's been hit or miss. I've had a couple of really good nail techs. However, my last visit was the nail in the coffin. The woman acted like she was angry, and was quite rough - in fact left a blood blister under the nail of my thumb hitting it really hard with her drill, and I know she saw what she did. But she kept going, heavy handed. She filed the side off that same thumb nail and I have no reason why, but as this nail is growing out it is split at the nail bed where she made it narrow. But only on one side. The nails were so thick I had little use of my hands until I soaked the nails off, and it took an hour. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not going back. I always tip well and have never been demanding, so I'm not sure where the aggression came from, but because of this last tech, a mature woman who I will not name, I am tearing up my punch card and moving on. read more

But the nail tech insisted on me getting a complete set of nails again.The products they use are cheap and not even durable for two weeks. I asked her to remove them and give me a manicure. WOW! RM Nails is amazing! i've never been one to talk much with my tech but the guy i had was very personable and connected with me in a way i appreciated. he joked with me and complimented me; i felt very welcomed. He was fast, but he made absolutely NO mistakes! my nails are perfect and exactly how i wanted them. he offered his opinion on color and i just had to agree because he knew what he was doing. The price was very reasonable. I got a new set acrylic with shellac for $32 (very inexpensive) and just a color change on my toes for $10. The woman who did my toes also talked to me and was very professional with my color and her time. I went into this location with my sister for a Mother's Day gift for me... I've never had a pedicure... I've been coming here for years.... I used to go here for years... So update! I've now gotten a new nail salon because the quality of this salon has dropped every time I go in. Finally I had 3 nails break off my nail beds are so brittle because they shave so much of my natural nail off, after not even 2 weeks it looks like my nails are a month over due because they rebase to far up the nail. The shop is far from fancy but they deliver a decent pedi/mani combo. I really enjoyed my foot massage on this last visit...fantastic! The shop is clean and they offer OPI polishes. I can typically get in and out without any hassle and the prices are decent. I love to have several pedicure spots in rotation. I used to live out here and am back for a bit on vacation. Decided to treat myself and get a pedicure. Got in quick and they started to get a little busy. The lady I had didn't speak to me once so I have no clue if she speaks English. She gripped my foot multiple times and bruised my foot, but she also used the cheese grater to the point that she scalped my foot! I'm actually shocked I didn't kick her in the face. I went in to RM Nails to get a manicure, and the station I was at didn't have a towel for me to put my hands on like other salons do. This made me uneasy, and my manicurist, I think her name was Hieu Nguyen (that's whose license was framed on the wall behind the station we were at, so I assumed that was she,) used a very used-looking nail file to file off my old gel polish. I didn't really notice it at first, but when I did notice after she was done filing off the polish and before she started shaping my nails with that very used-looking nail file and a very used-looking buffer, I asked for new ones. She seemed taken aback, then I asked, "Don't you have to use new ones on every client?" So she went and got a new nail file and buffing block, but if I hadn't said anything, she would have still used those very used-looking nail file and buffing block. I am aghast that she used that file on my nails to start with. I should have left the salon when there was no towel placed for my hands to rest on. That should have been an indicator to me of the cleanliness of that salon. I won't go back. This salon needs to be visited by an inspector. I filed a complaint with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA.) read more

This salon is definitely my favorite in all of Colorado. Granted, I haven't been to all of them.. But I've been to a lot in the Denver area and even Aurora. Quan was so nice and he was seriously one of the coolest owners I've ever talked to. He actually stayed late to do my rebase after I had the absolute best pedicure in the world. Even if I say late though, he still did not rush or ruin any part of my nails. He listened throughout the whole time I talked and even made great small talk! I got a rebase on my acrylic nails which was $15 with regular polish and the $33 pedi (it was worth it for the paraffin wax and the extra massage time/scrubs!) but they do have a $23 basic pedicure, and other combo deals if you're getting a mani/pedi. Everything was very clean, great massage chairs (I was practically falling asleep) and their prices are comparable to other nail salons, with an exception: I'm visiting from Florida so I'm not sure what the norm is here in Aurora, but they have a punch card which after a certain number of stamps gets you up to a $17 discount. This use to be my go to place for my nails Lynn is the best in there. But having to witness and experience the rudeness of the owner (the only guy there) has made me not want to go back. I've witnessed a few ladies walking in to get a broken nail fixed and he argues that they hurt their nail so bad for it to break so easily. No communication outside if this. My index nail broke when I got home. I came in the next day. New ppl at the shop that could not understand me. I was told there was no wait on the phone. 15 minutes later, a 45 minute wait to get ONE nail fixed! While two workers sat and giggled. Started when I came in for a shellac manicure about a month ago and the woman asked if this was my first time getting this done. I recently moved back to the area and have been searching for a great nail salon. This is the second salon that I visited and I find myself drawn to keep coming back even though I have found 5 other salons closer to me that do decent work, this place guarantees their work. I had nails put back on about 2 months ago and a couple days after a rebase they started lifting as well as 1 nail broke. I went back in and they fixed them for free, the owner said that he wants his employees to learn from their mistakes and he wants his customers to be happy so that they will come back. The reason why I did not give 5 stars is that they do sometimes speak a language other than English with each other, sometimes the nail tech will translate for us what they are talking about but I don't know for sure if that is what they are really talking about. And it seems like the last 2 times I walked in for services every employee came to look at my nails and then walked away, I felt like a science project. However, i will not let this deter me, I will go back and I am looking forward to getting a pedicure from them. read more

I came in to treat my cousin for her birthday and the guy doing her nails was so rude, spoke to my cousin like a child, was getting frustrated because she hadn't picked her color yet, yet he kept moving the nail samples away from her and telling her to stop moving and to just wait. My sister and I really wanted to get our nails done and the door says walk-ins welcome. I think they need to change it to by appointment only. Took 30 mins for my sister to be taken back for her pedi which is understandable as we were walk-ins and it was busy.. around 12:45pm. They took my grandma back to get her eyebrows waxed which was maybe 35 mins after we walked through the door. Took an additional 15 minutes before they even started on my sister, by then the water was cold. They didn't ring my grandma up right away and we sat there for over an hour, waiting. No magazines...I have a phone, but my 84 year old grandma is just sitting there. We were asked several times what we wanted because no one bothered to write anything down.. Some guy was constantly on his phone at the front and although he was pleasant to converse with, it was kind of unprofessional. Then he got up and left the store. My sister is still getting her feet done when my grandma and I decide to go next door and get a drink from Subway. We were in there about 15-20 minutes before we came back in and I brought my sister a drink while her mani was drying. Saw a text from her letting me know 3 mins after I left, they were apparently ready for me (1.5 hrs later after 2-3 booths had been open for half of this time. I thought they forgot) and that they were anxious and antsy because we didn't pay yet for the waxing ($10)-----because no one asked us to pay right away and my sister was still there. We were parked right infront of the shop in a bright blue car----they made her pay for the waxing and her nails before they would finish her mani. We had intentions to pay when she was settling up. Had they not done that, she probably would have tipped double/triple what she did. She tried telling them we were all together but they were freaking out too much. We all three came in together, no need to make my sister feel like a thief. Would have been solved if someone bothered to take our payment instead of making us wait another 45-50 minutes. If you're too busy, tell me. Just be honest. If you don't want to, just be honest. It's fine. What's not cool is that I wasted 1.5 hours and didn't get my own nails done, which would have been a half hour more, maybe? I've been to this location about 5 times, it was my go-to nail salon since it's so close to home. I get that I was a walk-in, but when you see about 5 people just kind of lingering around after you've been waiting over an hour, it's very frustrating. We will not be coming back and this business probably doesn't even care. Shame, cause usually their work is good. Customer service is terrible. read more

This place is by far the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. And I've been to plenty! The service there is great, everyone is friendly, the place is clean and you always feel at home. One of my pet peeves is when the nail techs start talking to each other in Vietnamese and you sorta feel like "what's going on?"...I've never had that happen here. They actually know some English and they try to have a real conversation with you. I live in Littleton and I drive 40 minutes to get here. Qwan, and Lilly @ RM Nails made me feel welcome even though I was a "walk in". I got my own nails painted utilizing schilack style polish. Harder and more durable than traditional polish. Got brows waxed too. I'm very happy with all results. Prices are about the same as other places I've been. I will definitely be back for a pedicure. They have reclining/massaging/vibrating pedicure chairs that make clients look like they're in heaven. I will wait for the next day of pampering to get that done. Pricing for pedicures is a tier-type system. The more you have done the more it will cost you, which is also typical. What isn't typical is the nail techs speak English even though they are obviously Vietnamese and engage clients in typical chit-chat conversation. Which doesn't happen everywhere. It's really sad how this shop has gone down hill. They used to truly be one of the best shops in Aurora. I've definitely reached my breaking point. See attached photo. In the process of filing my nails down with the ELECTRIC FILE...the nail tech decided that it wasn't necessary to focus on what she was doing but instead opted to look away. As soon as she looked away...she missed the nail and filed the drill into my flesh. Blood went everywhere. She then took and attempted to seal the open, bleeding wound with SUPER GLUE. Clearly, they're not big on safety. Because at this point, she was halfway through doing my nails..I did allow her to finish. There was also no discount or any other sort of discount or courtesy offered for my inconvenience. I was still charged full price. I prefer to stick with one shop and I've been going to this shop for a few years. However, after today I will not be back. I'm also letting all my friends know how negligent they've become. The time before this they had quite a few customers and she rushed through my nails not allowing the polish to properly dry and I ended up smudging them before I could. I thought shellac was supposed to be completely dry before you even leave the shop. They have also raised their prices. They charge you to fix a nail even if it's been less than a week since you got them done. I had a shellac pedicure and the polish completely peeled off of my toes the next day!! I returned and they literally only painted the toes where the polish had come off. I expected them to at least go over all of the toes with one coat to make sure I didn't have this same problem. I believe they're diluting the polish as I've never seen shellac last such a short amount of time. Don't go here. They've definitely lost their concern for customer service. read more
