All delicious!!! But my favorite was the omelette. It was sooo savory and good. The hainan chicken was good, but I feel like it could have been better, I'm not sure if I just haven't had authentic hainan chicken, but I thought the chicken here was alright. The Kinaree noodles were also good, but I honestly didn't like how it was sweet. Would def come back for the omelette here though!
Excellent Thai fusion place! I can't believe it took me this long to try it. The famous.Khao soi is as good as recommended, though it is a little bit on the pricey side. The basil chicken omelette was good, but we probably would have enjoyed it separately instead of as a fusion dish. It's a casual café setting with a 15 to 30 minute wait.
INCREDIBLE Khao Soi and Souffle Pancake! Came here after nightshift work, and was feeling crazy enough to have some dinner for breakfast (but also kind of dinner???) Got the regular chicken with Khao Soi and a Souffle pancake for the table. The broth flavors are simply amazing, the noodles, tenderness of the chicken, everything is great. The decor is super cute, great for girls brunch or a date night as well. Amazing service! Can't wait to come back already.
Upon arriving for brunch around 11am on Sunday, there was a short 15min wait for table of 4. There were so many options for brunch and lunch Thai inspired dishes. It was tough to pick just a select few at the table! There were standard breakfast options with a twist, I ended up getting the rib-eye benedict, but subbed out English muffin for French toast! The rib eye was sliced and seemed very similar to the crying tiger dish that was also ordered at the table. Steak was seasoned well and tender to bite. The plate had a lot of food, including a basket of breakfast potatoes and side salad. I enjoyed the side salad adding a freshness to the dish! Most of the menu is on the pricier side, but well worth the what you're ordering with the portions! We also ordered the shrimp donut for the table, which highly resembles the fried shrimp balls at dimsum. There was an interesting sweet sauce that came with this, but could have used some freshness. I was also too full from my dish to eat much of this heavier dish! Service was prompt, as there were several workers around the small restaurant. However, the dishes for our table each came out one by one, seemingly the fried dishes were significantly slower. The last dish to come out - fried chicken benedict - was missing the poached eggs on top! A server quickly brought out some eggs+sauce upon notifying. I would come back to try other dishes, but it appears the restaurant is getting quite busy & I hope they can keep up with the rush and stay efficient.
Kinaree is an interesting Thai brunch concept in the Quail Hill shopping center, located near Bacchus and Hanshin Pocha. It was really busy when we arrived, but luckily my boyfriend and I were able to be seated without much of a wait. It did take them a bit to take our order but at least we got to wait inside and comfortably seated. The restaurant was a little cramped but they are really trying to use up that square footage. They even have diners seating outdoors to maximize business. There was one TV in the corner that was playing one of the world cup games that morning. When they finally came to take our order, we decided to share the Shrimp Donut ($19). My entrees, my boyfriend decided on the Meat Lovers Omelette ($22) and I had the Kinaree Chicken Waffle ($25). I also ordered their Thai Iced Tea ($6). The shrimp donut came out after our entrees even though it's a started. It just tastes like fish paste they shaped and deep fried. The one on their menu was so pretty but the ones that came out to us were more like lumps than donut shaped. The taste was so-so. I wouldn't order this again. My boyfriend's meat lovers omelette was the best dish at our table from a portion and taste perspective. It had bacon, pork sausage, ham, sharp cheddar cheese, spinach and onion in the omelette. And each omelette is served with half a slice of French toast, breakfast potatoes, and salad. Very well rounded meal. Highly recommended. I don't like the French toast, could have been better soaked but the rest of the components on this plate was really strong and tasty. My Kinaree chicken waffle was less exciting. The fried chicken was really dried. Instead of one large chicken piece like other places who do this dish, they use scrap dries parts of the chicken and the batter is tough and hard. I was picking off the edges and trying to eat the edible parts. The waffle was like any old waffle. The two items tasted like two different dishes and it even came with 2 sauces. One for the waffle and one for the chicken. I ate about half of this, not because I was full, but because I didn't want to eat any more of it. We had to waive down staff for the check. They offered us boxes and I was like no thanks. This was a really expensive meal for me to leave so unsatisfied. You're paying for the cute decor, but when I go to brunch I want to eat tasty food too.
We came here since it says they have an outdoor seating and when we came they said they won't serve outdoor and we can just order for to go, just because they don't want to serve outside. Since we are already there and we have our dog with us, we opted for the to go order. We ordered the Thai Noodle crab meat, Khao soi pork belly and kinaree fried rice total was $85 which is expensive for 3 orders, and the taste is very average nothing impressive. The service is very disappointing too, it makes you feel like they don't really want to accomodate you and we came around 2:30pm so it's not busy. I've read a couple of reviews about their poor service and I must say, it's true. For me, even if the food is just average but the service is exceptional I would definitely comeback but for this place, the food is just average and the service is bad as well so I am not coming back- there are a lot of other restaurants that are more affordable and they have a great service.
I was really excited to try this spot -- I love fusion restaurants and the idea of a Thai‑inspired brunch sounded so fun. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't deliver on the fusion concept. I ordered the fried chicken and waffle, and it honestly tasted pretty standard. I didn't get any Thai flavors at all -- just regular fried chicken with a side of sweet chili sauce. The mama noodle dish was the biggest letdown: dry, lacking flavor, and definitely not an elevated take on instant noodles. The pork belly was okay, but it didn't have that crispy, crunchy bite you'd expect. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and welcoming. But overall, the food felt overpriced for what it was. In my opinion, it's a cute concept that doesn't follow through. I wouldn't recommend it.
This has been on my list to try! We visited on a Sunday and the wait was quite long. We waited for about an hour. We saw that there was a party of 20 so I'm guessing that's why the wait was very long. The inside is not super big, but very cute and aesthetic. We wanted to family style our meal. The Khao Soi was so good. I'm obsessed with it. Very flavorful and deep. I love the crunch of the noodles, in addition to the noodles already in the soup. Chicken Waffle was also pretty good. Not dry! Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette was really good. I was surprised. I usually don't order omelette as but would definitely order this again. The basil was delicious and there was an Asian fusion to it. The soufflé pancakes were good too. They were soft and loved the cream and jam to go with it. Matcha was okay. I didn't taste the coconut as much as I would like. We had asked multiple times to get small bowls so that we could split the meal but they didn't get it to us until half way through our meal. We were too hungry to wait. This is why the 4 stars! Overall, very yummy meal but took long time to get seated and service not as attentive because they were so busy.
This is a fairly new restaurant. The cuisine is Northern Thailand's and the Khai So is the best I've tasted since my visit to Chiang Mai. We were here at breakfast time and they also have classic dishes like avocado toast with bacon bits, chicken waffle. We also ordered the crispy soft shell crab. All were tasty and authentic. The portions are large. The service is beyond excellent with the nicest staff! There's indoor and outdoor dining. We will be back for some more lunch time items.
Kinaree is absolutely wonderful. I ordered their rice and pork belly, and it was so flavorful and absolutely delicious -- just one bite sent me to heaven. My husband ordered the salmon Benedict and was very happy with it too. Although it came out late (it didn't arrive until I was almost done with my dish), the staff was very apologetic. Besides that mishap, the staff was attentive and friendly. I love their cute interior as well as their dog-friendly outdoor seating. This place is a gem, and I will definitely go back.
This place is INSANE !! In the best way (: The menu is so big and everything looks so good my only complaint is that I had a hard time choosing what to get cause I wanted everything ! The Presentation of all the food and drinks were great ! This is like a instagram foodie pages dream spot ! And the inside of this place was decorated so cute it's perfect for a cute date or brunch with your family and friends. The chicken and waffle was amazing and so was the tom yum soup! We ordered drinks, The Benedict and so many other things and everything was great. I'm planning a couple trips back soon cause I have a list of things I need to try D;
Love the asian fusion flavors here. I couldnt decide on whether to pick from the breakfast menu, or their all-day specialties. Glad they have a menu just for photos, they all looked good but i ended up picking the crispy chicken benedict. Luckily i went with a large party so I was able to try a little of everything. Their crispy fish was huuge, and their khoa soi with soft shell crab was so good. I also enjoyed trying their tom yum noodle soup!
Came with a group of my girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. We tried a large variety of dishes with some hits and misses. Definitely a hit for me was the crispy fish and apple salad, which had a spicy kick to it. The pork jowl and the crying tiger were both super tender and flavorful. Highly recommend any of these three dishes!! The fried chicken and curry were misses for me. The braised beef was dry and the fried chicken was a bit overcooked as well. As for drinks, the pandan matcha was great!
Service played a significant role in this rating. I understand that this restaurant is small, busy, and has limited seating, with booth seating available by reservation only. However, our experience felt unwelcoming from the start. We arrived with two babies and politely requested a corner booth. The male host appeared visibly unhappy with our request, which immediately made us feel uncomfortable. My sister and mother even began looking around the plaza for other lunch options. As we were about to leave, the host called us back to let us know that a table was ready, so we decided to stay. Once seated and ready to order, we flagged down another staff member. He told us he couldn't take our order because another table had arrived before us and wanted to order first. We were patient and understanding, but then noticed him walking around, heading to the kitchen, and eventually returning to us--apparently changing his mind. We ordered the Khao Soi, Tom Yum soup, braised pork leg rice, and two drinks: Thai green tea and matcha yuzu. Food-wise, my mom enjoyed the Khao Soi, which reminded her of a curry my aunt makes. The braised pork leg was interesting and tasted similar to Chinese-style braised pork belly. Unfortunately, the Tom Yum soup was disappointing--despite looking appealing, the noodles made the soup overly soggy and affected the texture. This is a small restaurant offering a fusion American-Thai-style breakfast, but overall, the service overshadowed the food. Customer service needs serious improvement. read more
I don't think any place in the OC or even LA can come close to this amazing brunch spot. It may not be a hole in the wall and may look sheik but the food speaks for itself and it will blow your taste buds away! The Garlic prawns are garlicky and hard to put down!!! If you like a good omelette then the holy chili bomb basil omelette is the only choice for your omelette fix. My favorite dish was the KHOA SOI beef with a rich broth and thick noodles that make sure slurp. Make sure to keep it going with the soft shell crab!! They even have steak and eggs. The meat is very tender and nicely cut. And i probably had the best bennys in the west side here. The battered fish Benedict was scrumptious and soft. I didn't think they could keep outdoing themselves but they brought the Hat Yai fried chicken which was crispy to Perfection. One of the best fried chicken in the OC without a doubt. Make sure to also get the crab meat pad Thai. For dessert you can't go wrong with the mango sticky rice or the fluffiest soufflé pancakes. There are plenty of parking spaces. Inside is pretty small. You can waitlist via the iPad at the entrance. The wait went by pretty fast for us, but it did get packed later on. I ordered the Crispy Belly & Belly Rice. It was delicious, and the Crispy Pork Belly was flavorful and crispy! I'd come back and try their other items! Loved this place! The menu felt like it was the Cheesecake Factory menu haha there's just sooo many options. Luckily we did our research and knew what we wanted beforehand. We made a reservation for 10 am on a Saturday morning and it wasn't packed yet but by the time we left all of the tables were full. We literally ordered everything off the menu and everything was so good. Definitely shareable plates. My favorites were probably the soufflé pancakes and the holy bomb chili omelette. I saw this place on an instagram post and decided to check it out. It's in the back corner of this shopping complex for those who aren't familiar. It does get busy at lunch so I would suggest coming early. We didn't have any issues but the table next to us did and I felt bad for them. We ordered 2 dishes as seen in my photos and both were really good. The shrimps were huge and very crispy. My friend enjoyed her bowl as well. I would come back. The poor table to us, somehow never got their 2nd entree and finally had to take it to go. Not sure what happened to them but she sat while her partner ate his whole meal and then took the leftovers from him. I would have been livid. Cute store. Worth a try. SYOY read more
i came here for a sunday brunch with my cousin, and everything we got here was so good!!! the portion sizes were huge and great for sharing, so definitely come hungry! - Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette: i can't believe i've never come across this creation anywhere else because it is literally so good. great flavor from the beef & veggie combo that paired well with the soft egg omelette! i thought the name was cute and funny too hehe - Make it Rice / Jumbo Crab Meat: it is literally in the name, but the crab meat pieces were huge and yummy! this rice was also flavored really well, and the sauce on the side has a great tanginess to balance the richness of the fried rice. - Khao Soi Soft Shell Crab: really good and standard khao soi! the pickled veggies are a great contrast to the richness of the soup. the crab was fried perfectly crispy! - Lychee Pleasesy: a yummy lychee tea, no issues with it! overall, this was a really good thai brunch spot! it was pretty crowded when i came, and wait was still about 15-20 mins for my party of 2, so be prepared to wait! i think it was definitely worth it though, and i would for sure come back to try the other dishes! read more

Came here for brunch with the family. Cute little modern Thai spot tucked in the corner of the Quail Hill Plaza. Food was mediocre (majority of the table were not satisfied/happy with what they ordered). Khao Soi was the star of the day. One with fried pork belly the other with soft shell crab. Chewy noodles, soup with the right amount of kick (for us) & the chosen meats were ok but helped break up the flavor of the dish. Good portion Crème Brûlée Soufflé pancake: it was decent a bit more dense than expected. Lacked flavor & it needed that glob of sauce they added which didn't look appetizing. Fruit was fresh & they let you know that this dish will take longer to make. Forth least favorite Farmer's Classic: standard American breakfast. Potatoes were the star. Let's leave it at that. Second least favorite Meat Lover's Omlette: sad, very sad. Majority of meat was luncheon meat ham. $22 you smoking crack. Again, potato was the star. Least favorite Hot Pot Tom Yum Soup: I didn't get to try this but I heard it was just ok. Tied for fourth least favorite Chicken & waffles: Burnt-they need to change the oil or watch the chicken better. Only came with 2 small pieces, the third piece was just over-fried batter/skin. The dish comes out looking like a big portion but when you take it apart it's a different story. This was the last dish that came out too. Third least favorite. So majority of the table was finished eating this is why it wasn't sent back. We didn't know how much longer we'd have to wait to get another dish. The dishes came out inconsistently with huge gaps in between this would be fine if it was family style but it's not. Example: Khao Soi w/pork was one of the first dishes but the Khao Soi w/soft shell crab was second to last & majority of table again were finished eating. Take on the standard 18% for large party..leaves a bitterness in the mouth. read more

Ok this is one solid restaurant. The service, food, atmosphere, and prices were so right. My friend and I dined on a weekday around noon and it wasn't very busy. The waiter was friendly and professional, patiently answering questions we had. When our 4 dishes came out we were so impressed with the portion sizes, presentation, and great flavors. I loved that they weren't too conservative in making their food a little spicier. The sweet, savory, and spicy kick of the apple salad made it so unique and refreshing easily making this my favorite dish. It also came with a gigantic piece of fish. They are not skimping on the fish at all! Only one thing that was a minor detractor from the experience and it was the lack of high chairs. I don't think I've ever gone to a restaurant that doesn't have high chairs. read more
Adorable decor in this restaurant and there's plenty of parking out front. It's open early with normal breakfast fare but they serve all their dishes all day long so if you're in the mood for rice or soups you can order those. Friendly and quick service with multiple refills for your drinks. They check in on you often We tried the crab rangoons, boat noodles and the house special noodles. Gotta give them kudos for the portion size and all the dishes were tasty enough but nothing spectacular. Normal, everyday Thai food. It's also quite pricey, but it looks like a high rent strip mall so I'm not surprised. read more

Clean and colorfully decorated with flowers and artwork, this busy eatery is the highlight of the neighborhood. The menu offers many classic dishes (some with a new and flavorful twist) and a few original chef specialties that are vibrant and explosive. As we looked around other tables, the portions for brunch were generous and beautifully presented. Wine, beer and cocktails, along with traditional drinks such as matcha, Thai iced tea, fresh orange juice, and so much more, are on the menu. We ordered the crying tiger and tom yum noodle soup. The crying tiger does not come with rice and I found it more enjoyable once we had rice added to our order. The portion of this particular dish is small, but the quality of the beef is excellent and the flavors of the dressings elevate the dish further. The tom yum noodle soup has fish balls, shrimp, pork and sausage. The flavors are explosive and absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant was also present which made our visit even more enjoyable. Great little restaurant packed with flavor. read more

Kinaree is interesting. It's Thai but also fusion. They have traditional Thai dishes on the menu, and also American dishes like chicken waffles. We got the khao soi and chicken waffles. The dishes were so beautiful and rich in colors, just like the decors in the restaurant. Service was friendly. The reason I gave a 4 star was because the prices were a bit high, for the food you get. The fried chicken was on the dry side and a little bland. The chicken in khao soi was tender but not falling off the bones soft. They are newly opened and probably need time to settle. I will come back again to try different dishes. read more

This place is a gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked and most important to me is authenticity. I'm Thai so my expectations are high when it comes to Thai food and this place did not disappoint. Great portions and everything came out fast. So many varieties- I don't see this many options on the menu anywhere else. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was welcoming. Definitely one of the better Thai spots I've tried--I'll be back! read more
What a gem! We found this spot nearby our work and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a decent menu- one for brunch and one for lunch. We got the Khao Soi with soft-shelled crab and it was so good! Their noodles were al dente and the crab was a decent size. They let you pick the spice on this, and we opted for mild but you can't really taste the heat. I would go spicier! The pork jowl was also really tasty! The thai basil on top of each bite was a great balance. The flavor reminded me of a Vietnamese flavor. You can't finish the meal without a sweet! Their thai tea creme brûlée is unique - I wish they torched it a bit more for that hard shell. I will definitely be coming back! The service here is great and attentive. Tried this new spot that's in Quail Hill shopping center right by Bacchus and Thai Bamboo. It's a twist of Thai food and brunch dishes. The place gets super busy, so I highly recommend making a recommendation before hand. We tried a variety of dishes. I think the best dish was the crab fried rice. The green sauce was a delicious pairing. The kow soi was a little underwhelming. The noodles were more on the al dente side. I prefer a softer noodle that's easier to chew. The soufflé pancakes are a nice shareable dessert. If you are a matcha person, I would not recommend any of the matcha drinks. Unfortunately the matcha is extremely bitter and it took a lot of Splenda packets to make it more appetizing. Ambience and service was decent for being a brand new restaurant. I would come back to try more dishes to see if there are any more to recommend. read more
Very cute place! I love to support small family-ran businesses like this! Smoked Salmon Benedict was alright in my book but the real star of the meal was the Khao Soi with Soft Shell Crab! Broth was flavorful and paired nicely with the noodles and pickled veggies. As a spice lord, I'd always recommend getting it hot hot but you can do medium or none. This makes me want to try more their Thai proper dishes in the future. If you also enjoy something sweet, the matcha cheesecake was scrumptious. Soft and creamy, I quickly devoured this. Looks like they're also in they process of getting their liquor license so I'm looking forward to mimosas here in the future! read more
Super cute and cozy brunch and lunch spot. The restaurant isn't big and the tables are set oretty close to each other. As cute as the ambiance is, the food is even better. Our waiter was super sweet and recommended a few dishes. Our party ended up ordering everything he suggested and everyone was happy with their entrée. I got the Hot Chili Bomb Basil Omelet with tofu and it was simply delicious. Although I probably could have finished my plate, I brought home half of the omelet for my husband to try. He was also blown away by the flavor and yumminess. The omelet came with potatoes, a piece of French toast, and a small salad. While not bad, I did not care for the French toast or the salad. Just give me more potatoes! We ordered soufflé pancakes to share with the table and they were just as good, extra fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The whipped cream and compote paired perfectly. They have a lot of drink options. I chose the Yuzu Butterfly and it was good. As for vegetarian options, I didn't see many on the menu but they happily subbed out the chicken for tofu on the basil omelet dish. Parking was easy since it is in a shopping complex. We ended up spending almost $50 per person including tax and tip (4 people, 5 entrées, 4 drinks). Needless to say, we will be back. read more
Service is a little slow, but they're still new. Food was hit and miss. The chicken waffle was the favorite with the pad Thai coming in close. The dishes are a bit on the higher end of pricing with dishes being around $25 each. Would go back and try more for a special occasion. read more
We arrived at about 10am on a Saturday and had 0 wait to sit outside (open tables inside, too). As we left, around 11, it got a lot busier. Lots of outside seating, dog friendly. Food was very flavorful. Can't wait to come back to try other things! read more
I tried Kinaree Thai for lunch and everything I ordered ended up being way better than I expected. I got the boat noodles, my friends got the Belly Belly, and their green tea. The boat noodles had this super rich, comforting broth that tasted like it had layers of flavor built into it. The noodles were cooked just right and the toppings actually had some substance to them -- not the skimpy kind. The Belly Belly came out with that perfect crunchy crust but the inside stayed really soft and juicy. And their green tea? Honestly one of the smoothest Thai green teas I've had. Not overly sweet, not watered down -- just really balanced. Overall, the whole meal felt like something I'd happily reorder on a long day. Definitely a new go-to spot for me. read more

It's an aight place. The restaurant was clean, bright, n nicely decorated. It took while to notice me (dining by myself). I'm pretty sure one of the staff walked past me 3~4 times before I was asked to be sat. But I'll write this off as a one time mistake. It looked pretty busy in there and when I was finally sat my assigned waiter was attentive and polite. I was recommended the Holy Thai Basil Bomb Omelette which had its positives and negatives. Lots of flavor very bold and they pack the omelette with ALOT OF GROUND MEAT. This one's for the protein lovers. I have alot to bring home lol. However, it is pretty soggy with meat juice, oil, or sauce (?) cant tell but idk I guess I was expecting crispier. Also not as spicy as I expected, medium tasted like mild. Overall, has potential. I will be coming back for other menu items it looks really creative. Hopefully my next experience will add a star read more

We visited this Thai American-style restaurant on Black Friday. Despite the holiday rush, the food itself was flavorful and enjoyable, and the ambience was pleasant and welcoming. However, there were only two servers working the floor, which made it difficult for them to keep up with customer requests. We waited quite a long time for our drinks, and our dishes came out nearly 30 minutes apart. While we still enjoyed the meal overall, the long gaps between servings affected the flow of the dining experience. The restaurant has a lot of potential, and with better staffing on busy holidays--both in the kitchen and in the front of house--the customer service could match the quality of the food. I look forward to seeing improvements on future visits. read more

A new Thai fusion brunch place in Irvine- love to see it! My family tried it out, not realizing we stumbled upon their grand opening. Pro: major discount! Con: major wait to get seated. Happily, the food was worth the wait, service was friendly, and we anticipate the crowds will even out over time. My husband got the chicken and waffles, which he said was delicious and crispy with a subtle Thai twist. I had the Sai Oua, which involved sausage, sticky rice, and fresh greens. It was fantastic and I would absolutely get it again. Decor is attractive with a springtime floral motif, and parking is ample. As I mentioned, we got an incredible discount because it was their grand opening. The regular prices are a bit high. I will certainly come back, but the price point is what I consider a special treat, not an everyday pick. Great choice for a weekend indulgence. read more
We came here on their grand opening day and they had a 50% off discount to celebrate their opening day. It was pouring rain but the wait was still about 45 minutes for us. The inside decor is really pretty with lots of pretty paintings and floral accents. It was very busy that day so I couldn't take too many pictures, I will definitely come back another day to take more pics! Chicken and Waffles - The chicken was very crispy and flavorful and it came with really big portion of waffle with 2 sauces - a spicy syrup and a maple syrup. Souffle Bacon & Eggs - we got scrambled eggs which they laid over the souffle pancake with bacon layered in between. It was delicious! Souffle Crème Brûlée - the pancakes were soft and fluffy and the crème brûlée sauce had a nice burnt caramel taste to it. There were lots of berries which made the dish very refreshing. It does take 20 minutes for them to make this souffle pancakes. Crispy Belly & Belly Rice - the crispy pork was nicely fried with a fragrant sauce. It made me want to eat it all up. Soft Shell Crab in Karee Sauce - the crab was lightly fried but it was very crispy and the crab was so fresh. The sauce was very flavorful but I was there was roti to go with the dish so we can dip into the sauce. Kinaree House Noodle Soup - lots of ingredients and very good broth Thai Iced Tea - sweet, strong and flavorful Pandan Sweet Tea - there is a hint of the pandan which added flavor profile to the sweet tea They did an amazing job given how busy they were on their grand opening day. Came to check out the new Thai fusion restaurant. The place was busy even tho it was pouring rain. The staff was busy with the grand opening activities. We had to wait for a bit but it was well worth it. We had ordered a few traditional Thai food along with some fusion food. Chicken and waffle was tasty. The chicken perfectly fried and juicy. The soft shell crab curry was flavorful, wish I had the option to pair it with some roti. Crispy pork rice and house noodles reminded me of the street food in Thailand. Finished up with the soufflé pancakes that were fluffy. The portions were generous with Irvine prices. It's a nice place to have some brunch in the Quail Hill plaza. Loved the Panda sweet tea. It's really one of a kind! Not too sweet, just right! The Khoa Soi Braised Beef was sooo yummy and really the star of the show. We also ordered the Kinaree fried chicken. The chili sauce mix was sooo good and was a perfect pair with the chicken! It comes with sticky rice and is a fun texture to pair with the crunch fried chicken. It took 40 mins to receive my fried chicken Benedict. I got to sit and watch my husband finish his plate (which was also disappointing. Hainan chicken with soggy overcooked rice. Bland chicken). After waiting for some time you would assume my dish would be hot and fresh. Complete opposite! Lukewarm plate of food which I did not even finish. The chicken tasted old and dry. I've visited for breakfast once and recently stopped by for a late lunch. The decor is charming: one side has Thai accents, while the other exudes a French vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is gourmet and consistently satisfying. Highly recommended. read more

As you can see we got a lot of food bc we were soo indecisive bc everything looked and sounded good. We truly have no regrets lol everything we ordered was PHENOMENAL. We were thoroughly impressed with this place. The ambiance is soo pretty and whimsical & the service from Moo was great! She was so sweet and gave us great suggestions on what to try. Went on a Wednesday early afternoon... wasn't busy. Very cute spot, but the service was lacking. It seemed like it was kinda rushed to have us out of there, even though more people arrived after us. The lychee pleasesy was really really good. I got the Kinaree fried chicken and the rice was COLD. That was a bummer. We waited 30 minutes for our food to arrive and if they take that long you would think that the food would be good right? No the food both looked and tasted horrible they put bacon on the avocado toast and in the salad there were bad leaves. They don't know how to cook. The food they serve is probably store bought or made before and preheated and then adding things to the food that would otherwise be very good. They charged $9 for a tiny cup of orange juice! They also played horrible music. In my ten year in Irvine I have never seen something as bad as this. I would give it zero star but yelp doesn't let me. Don't come here. read more
