This was a disappointment. We were returning to this place after a fantastic experience earlier in March 21. This time we came back to celebrate a family members birthday. A lot has changed. 1. The water served had foul smell. It was either the glasses or the water (this festive stale water). We requested for several replacements. They changed it everytime. 2. They were in a hurry to take orders, we were the only 2 tables dining in for lunch. We just felt rushed. 3. The spice levels had changed drastically. While we can take good levels of spice, their level 4 was super spicy. When we pointed that out, we got a replacement that was now flat (inspite of requesting for 3) 4. Limited options for vegans. One big reason we were coming back is, ealier they could customize many dishes to suit Vegans, now they have lesser options and the quality has dropped. One of the best Thai restaurants I have tried! All my kids approved and I also requested everything not spicy. Som tum salad was a little sour but very yummy. I also got the pork pad see ew which has thicker noodles and that was very delicious . Happy noodles was also really good. At Kin Dee today, we ordered crispy pork basil, kao soi (curry noodle), and pad thai - all of them are really authentic and well done. The shrimps in pad thai, although cost $4 extra, are humongous and super fresh. Also, each dish comes in HUGE portion. With only 3 dishes, they'll probably last 3-4 meals for us (I'm so stuffed that I have to lie down a bit - that's why I'm writing this review now lol). Will definitely come back again. The only draw back is the added gratuity to parties 5 or more. (We had 6... two of which were small children) I like to tip based on the service I receive. We ordered the Pad Guay Tiew Tom Yum, Panang curry Duck, Chicken Wings, Pad See Ew Chicken. The flavors are spectacular, and the presentation in the food containers is amazing. I do love this place, reason why I'm giving them another review on another website. Food tastes fresh and whoever is cooking really knows what they are doing, very authentic, and spiciness is on point. I will start by saying Kin Dee's to-go packaging is spot on. Everything is packed to not spill without a second person needing to hold it in the passenger seat on the way home. Also sustainable packaging which is a plus. I ordered the green curry. The flavor was pretty good but it didn't blow me away. The vegetables were prepared perfectly but my main issue was the ratio of curry sauce to protein and vegetables. I couldn't even add any rice because it would have absorbed all of the sauce. I would have ordered extra sauce had i known. I love curry but won't be ordering it from here again. My boyfriend had pineapple fried rice and it was delicious. There could have been more prawns for the price but the pineapple was plentiful and delicious. I also liked the raisins and walnuts. He found it to be a little dry but I thought it was yummy. Overall this isn't a disappointing place but I am hoping to find another place in Bothell that has better and more appropriately portioned curry for the expensive prices. read more

Kin Dee is a great restaurant serving excellent Thai food. Standouts include the Hoi Jor, Tod Mun and the Black cod Dumplings on the app side. For entrees the Pad Pak, Pad Grapao, the pork leg-Kao ka moo, Simmered Chicken-Kao soi Gai. All were superb. My wife and I haven't worked our way through the whole menu, but judging from what we've eaten I'm confident everything is on point. Kin Dee's menu is split between dishes that are common at what has become the generic American Thai restaurant and others that are not so commonly found. Giving all eaters something to dig into, or be a little adventurous and try something new. Our experience with service has been great. Everybody is welcoming and enjoy what they do. We've had exceptional and attentive service from Max, who I'll be requesting when I make a reservation tonight. The Basil chicken, I got 4* which was really spicy for me but tasted nice and different. It was minced Chicken , definitely something different than the other Thai places.
