Kao Ka Moo
Yuchen Z.

Nestled away in this shopping center that I always drive on, but have never driven through. I'm so glad I was brought here by my friends after work. It's very cute and pretty inside. Very modern looking. Service was quick and they took care of us quickly. Their menu was pretty extensive and had lots of options, including drinks and desserts. Food: everything we had here was really yummy. I definitely recommend that crispy garlic wings - they were huge and succulent and juicy. The spring rolls that were fried was also really good. I had the pork rice bowl, which is called the Kai Ka Moo and I Was so impressed with it! I saw a picture of it and I knew I needed to have it. It was just as tender as the picture looked, and the broth was so savory and delicious. Everybody in my party enjoyed the food.

Don't know why I didn't find this restaurant sooner, but their street food menu is great. The highlight is the Kao Moo Grob (crispy pork), which is very crispy and light. We also tried Kao Ka Moo, so juicy and tender. Their Hoi Jor is also very crispy and flavorful. Very good service and attentive. The restaurant was very busy on Friday night, but they were still very attentive and happy. Nice decoration. We will definitely go back to try more.

Tl;dr Great ambiance but ok food Came here for a nice lunch with some friends and had a great time enjoying the ambiance here. The servers were very accommodating and the drinks were stellar. The pad Thai looked incredible with the egg weave but just tasted ok. The pumpkin curry however was delicious and I would definitely order it again.

Ordered the Pad pak with crispy pork belly, Panang curry with pork shank, Pad see ew with chicken and Kao Pad with tofu. I really liked the curry! Super coconut-y and perfect level of kick, pork was also super tender. The crispy pork belly was so good, super crispy and didn't taste too fatty. Pad see ew had a great texture and strong flavor. Interior is super modern and has a bar. My new fav Thai spot alongside Baitong!

Great flavors, see how clean the water bottle

This thai restaurant is very unique and I plan to return for more delicious foods. They share parking with safeway 20611 Bothell Everett hwy. Everything was so clean including pictures with this five stars review, I went to use the restroom was very clean, super quality foam soap and also mouth wash dispenser one of a kind lol I had two waitress and waiter they very professional. Two big screen tv, I was there to watch the seattle mariners play. My table and chair was comfortable. Peanut sauce with fresh spring rolls deep rich flavor. Fried chicken delicious. (Kin Dee in thai language eating good)

Left Thai iced tea. Right nom yen.

Definitely a worthy Thai place in Bothell. First time here...good location in a plaza with other stores/ restaurants. Plenty of parking available. There is a bar and big TVs which gives it a sports bar feel. But also some elegant decor and lighting giving it a nice ambiance. Depends where you are seated. Service was very good: attentive and pleasant but not annoying. Thai tea was good, a bit too sweet for me though. Nom yen looked very pretty and pink but maybe an acquired taste? Not for me... Portions are large. Pad Thai could feed 2 people easily. I love the presentation with lace egg on top. Delicious! My sister had another dish. Not sure what it was but spice level 2 had quite a kick for my Caucasian taste buds. But very nice and flavorful. Halal and vegan options available. Definitely will come back to try more dishes.

Amazing cute little place. Lovely hosts. Food was very tasty and flavorful. Presentation was bang on. Ordered Stir fry beans, pineapple fried rice and Thai basil rice, eggplant . Also had jasmine tea. It was weekend so we had a wait time for almost 20-25 mins.

There are more and more options for Thai food in Bothell, and Kin Dee is close by the office so I have had a chance to try it a few times. Portions are generous and I usually have leftovers. Tried both the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao and while both were decent, they were a bit bland at 2 stars. The chicken rice was good but not spectacular. The panang curry was a bit more flavorful though, and I would order it again. The space is clean and modern, and service is good. Overall, it's a good place for Bothell, but at least for me, places in Seattle are a little bit better.

Been on my list for a while and finally visited. Should have done that much earlier! Conveniently located and sharing the Thrasher's Corner parking lot, it was not crowded on a Monday evening. Immediately noticed some of the diners were Thai. Good sign! A wonderful variety in the menu and it was hard to make a choice. Finally decided on Guay Tiew Tom Yum, Chicken Pad Thai, Kao Mun Kai. Food presentation was very good and volume was impressive for what seemed to be comparatively reasonable prices. The tom yum noodle soup had a lot of minced pork and the soup was tasty. 2 stars was just nice without being too spicy. The chicken rice was tasty and made a nice combo meal, something close to the Hainanese chicken rice we were familiar with. The pad thai was the average dish we thought but we have had a lot of pad thais in many places. It looked special upon arrival and worthwhile trying for sure. We will surely be back and with many other dishes to try from the menu, will be sooner rather than later!

Pad Kee Mao

This was my second time at Kin Dee, and this time I tried the Pad Kee Mao (my favorite Thai dish) with three stars for spice. My friend and I ordered the same dish, and we both loved it. The spice level was perfect for us because it enhanced the flavors of the dish but wasn't overly spicy to the point of making the food painful to eat. Normally I'm not a huge fan of cherry tomatoes but for some reason, I really liked them in the dish with the warm burst of flavor. My friend pointed out how cute the interior of the restaurant was, and I definitely agree. There's nice lighting so it can be an intimate but cute spot without the pressure of dressing to impress. The service is also great and fast, and we both got our waters refilled. I was happy to be back so soon, and I'm already eager to come by again, especially since I just finished my leftovers today.

One of the best Mai Thai's I've ever had

Favorite Thai place in Washington state. I'm almost afraid to say that since I'm still searching and trying new places, but I keep coming back here and every single time I'm wowed. The staff is professional, attentive, and kind. The restaurant is always clean, romantically lit, and has some great music? Seriously great music. Everything I've tried in the menu is perfection in its dish. The Larb, which I have had several other places, is the best here! Portions are great for the price too. My one thing is if I order a two on the spice level, it's typically a 5. But Joe that I know that I order a 1 and tell my waitress or waiter I'm a spice wuss! Bravo Kim Dee. You all deserve 10 stars.

Now that I've been few several times!! I like. Tried their Madison valley location first. But this one, much easier to park, meet, take clients out or meet friends for lunch. I like it. Ambiance: In a strip mall but restaurant itself is quite nice and beautiful, especially the bar. Staffs are mostly friendly. Food Battered fish with spicy basil fish- my favorite Tom yum/ Tom Kha soup- not bad but super tiny! Even a bigger bowl, not a cup. Ginger chicken: always tasty Pad Thai: tasty Khao man gai: I like the ginger rice! Pad woo Sen: not bad but it comes with rice. I'd rather get more noodles than rice. Chicken satay : good Duck noodle soup/ good Salads were a ok for me. Crab fried rice: probably my favorite version. Jumbo lumps crab. Tasty! I don't go for fried rice often but here, I do just for this. And free parking is great. They have a full bar and happy hour too. I like their hibiscus lemonade. Overall, solid Thai spot!

Pad Kee Mao

What appears to be a regular Thai restaurant in a strip mall type parking lot ends up being a surprisingly delicious and enjoyable evening. Restaurant decor was very aesthetically pleasing and modern had a high-end feel. Staff was exceptionally attentive and kept checking in and refilling our waters or water glasses never got empty than half full. Had my go to order pad kee mao with two stars. The test was fresher than normal. The vegetables had a healthy crunch. It was less sweet and lighter than any other I've ever had. I would ask for no onions moving forward as the onions were also still crunchy and a little spicy and there was an abundance of them

Large collection for cocktail there :D

Hands down one of the best Korean Chinese restaurant in the US! This says a lot because I've been…read moreto highly rated ones in LA and in the bay, and Modoo Banjeom is comparable to those, and maybe even better. Reminds me of the ones I've had in Korea. We went for gan jjajang and brisket jjampong, which are not the standard ones that come in the combo meal with tang su yuk, but our server kindly made it into a combo meal. I think these special versions are definitely better than the standard ones which we've tried before here. So much more flavor! The price is quite reasonable and the service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was quite clean! If you're craving Korean Chinese food, I'd recommend here over the newer restaurants in the area.

I noticed that…read moreat 11:15, which is just 15 minutes after opening, that there were already four parties inside, including mine. When we had left just a few minutes shy of 12pm, the restaurant was full and there were a few parties waiting outside. The staff were very attentive and would immediately replenish our radish if we were low. The jjamppong and jjajangmyeon tasted fine, if anything the jjajangmyeon was a little sweet. The fried rice however (without the jjajang sauce) was pretty bland and a bit dry. I don't know if it's intentional because they give the sauce on the side but I'd like to have the rice taste good without the assistance of the sauce. Other than the bland and dry rice, my only other nitpick would be that the jjajangmyeon came out a lot later than the other dishes. Otherwise we paid around $117 (without tip), for five dishes and two appetizers, which I think is pretty good for this area.

The colorful wall murals are gone. The bowls used to serve noodle dishes are now HUGE and DEEP, leading some to say portion sizes are not generous. That is not correct. They are plentiful. You're just getting your noodles in a gargantuan bowl. Service is acceptable, but just barely. It's often negligent. I ended up getting up to get my own new set of chopsticks when I had an issue with mine and some extra napkins because the server was too focused on playing with the TV stations (which they were two or three times while we were there). You order from a QR code and pay in advance--including tip--now. The food is still very good. Noodles are great. They've also gotten creative and gone a bit overboard there with the addition of colored noodles, which I did not try. Dumplings have gone creative too. The flavors are very good, and the dumplings are well made. The colors for the dumplings make a bit more sense than for the noodles, but I still find the whole idea a little much. Still solid noodle dishes. Maybe a tiny bit less balanced and authentic than when they opened, but the noodles are well made. Flavors are good. Will definitely return, but I just hope they don't eventually lose their way by trying to be different and trendy instead of reliable and fun.

The quality of…read morethe noodles and the ample fillings in the Xiaolongbao are the standout stars of this establishment, 5+. However, I can only assume that most patrons are assumed to be regulars so the basics of welcoming you in and explaining menu and ordering protocols require getting the attention of the server. As it was our first time visiting, the menu off of the QR code was confusing as noodle options show at the top "let's meet our noodles" with $0, followed by menu items with prices. All can be selected and added to your cart however we found out later that they are only there to show you noodle options for the dishes below. There is ample seating, however the bathroom is gender neutral and could do with a deep cleaning and a sign that asks people to put the seat down after use. Perhaps take-out next time.
