Child friendly, a great place for a casual date, and the ultimate nerd hang out for some pizza and appatizers. They have good meal deals, fair pricing and good quality food. Some games work and others where out of order. It made me nostolgic to see all the little sticker and gumball machines- a great little treat for your kid or a guestire for your date. Was in the area for my sons 9th birthday. He wanted pizza so I went on Yelp and found the gem! Best pizza, wings and salad. Staff was so friendly. Food arrived at our table fast. Place is pretty cool with all the old school memorabilia. They have a small arcade section which my kids enjoyed. Food was surprisingly decent considering the fact that this places needs a health inspection, dirty inside, odd smell walking in, fruit flies flying around, bathroom was dirty and had no hand sanitizer. I decided to order some pizza and wings to support them since I saw a FB post that they needed support. I am all about supporting local business and I also love going there for my pizza fix. Not sure if today is a one off or their quality went down the drain because of the COVID-19, but the food was like warm when I picked up the pizza (I was actually 10 minutes early to get my food), the wings were tasting burnt, and they had no Parmesan cheese!!! The person who handed me the food was very rude and not nice at all. Update: when I reported the issue to Slice app customer service, they were able to refund me back my money after they spoke to the owner/manager at the Oceanside location. I didn't expect a full refund, I was just submitting a complaint for the poor service and quality of food. However, I changed the low rating and I will return and order more food soon and will see how it goes. read more

Nice divey spot to take your kids too. This place resembles a sci-fi junkie man-cave for a guy born in the 70's. The artifacts are randomly spread throughout the restaurant in no particular order, instead everything is sort of meshed together like a rubber band ball. For example, you will see Star Wars memorabilia in the same area where the Jetsons poster is posted. Being a pizza chef myself, I would say that this place was on par with Domino's but not better than gourmet. The pizza selections have wierd names that translate to basic choices such as meat lovers, pepperoni and cheese pizza. Oddly, there's not anything spectacular about the choices except for the names. The pizza comes to you with a thin crust and in a unique oval shape. When served, it is piping hot, fresh out of the oven. So hot, that the cheese grab the ingredients as you pull your slice of pizza out, leaving you with just bread with pizza sauce. One thing that is definitely worth trying are the spicy BBQ wings! The BBQ wings come perfectly drenched in super-spicy barbecue sauce where the only relief from the heat comes from the ranch dressing and carrots on the side. I would recommend getting something milder if you can't handle anything above 100,000 on the Scoville pepper scale. Parking is plentiful and there wasn't a long wait to get my food. The price is a little high, I ordered a large cheese pizza with half sausage and a side of wings and the price was about $40 with water. Love the food and never had issues here, so when I decided not to order pizzahut but instead I wanted to support a small local business, I ordered killer pizza from mars through one of their websites I now see they have multiple websites and ordering portals, I imagine this is why their staff is incredibly unhelpful or knows nothing about their websites,when I called today because they where closed yesterday due to a blackout I was told they are not the owners and don't know how their website works and that I need to contact toasttabs for refund, toasttabs who has no contact info for this and their site tells you to contact the restaurant. 50 dollars for 1large pizza and 8 wings you'd expect better service when paying so much. I'd also like to add that the cheesy repetitive owner response won't be necessary here unless it says call here so we can refund you it's not necessary, after reading the other bad reviews u can tell owner doesn't care only answer is we will learn from this and hope you give us a second chance sounds like copy and paste bull to me. read more

Delicious pizza, killer antipasto salad. Our Friday night go to pizza place. I think they must vacuum pack their salads. It looks fabulous when you open the container. The location was hard to find and Google was confused. it took me a minute to fine it for an out of towner. I picked this place here on yelp. the staff was friendly and i was served right away. the pizza came out, it had a funny smell like it was almost burnt but it wasn't. I didn't taste any burnt flavor either but there was something off a bit. it was good pie. I generally compare pizza to round tables King Arthur Supreme as it has the toppings and flavor I like. Best pizza I've tried since moving to Oceanside and we've tried a few. My family and friends stopped in here for lunch on Saturday. I ordered a large "Martianz Love Meat" pizza with a couple of beers and two kids drinks. Total came to a smidge over $40. We loved it...like, a lot. Delicious crust and tons of meat. We found it odd that the pizza wasn't round, but more oblong or oval-shaped. Didn't matter. In fact that proved that it's not a "cookie-cutter" pizza from the freezer if anything. Beer selection is good, but could be better. I like darker, stronger ales (like a hearty Scottish or even a Honey Hips works for me), but the menu was predominantly IPA (there were 9 IPAs!). AND they were out of the Blood Orange. I saw a Red Trolley and the PB Milk Stout but that was it for the darker side (they had Smithwicks, but...yuck). I ended up with a Fat Tire. Yep. Sigh. The place is packed full of artifacts from the 80's movies I grew up with. Lots of sci-fi, movie posters and other "tchotchkes" hanging from the ceiling. It's really cool and they set themselves apart from the other 10,000 pizza places in SoCal. Good job people and please mix-up the beer selection a bit more! read more

Both were pretty good, I don't much care for 99% of the cardboard NY style they serve around the area and this is the only place I've found that serves decent pizza. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the place. I remember coming here several times waaaaay earlier in the millennium, and gorging on delicious pizza and cold beer. These were the days after I just arrived in town after acting on orders to report for duty at Camp Pendleton. The senior guys in my workplace introduced this hidden dive to me for their delicious pizza and ice cold brews on tap. They were here not only for that, but for the campy E.T. ambiance as well. Skip to about 8 years later. I move back to the SD area after being out of the military and having gone to college in the Orange County Area. Upon re-transplanting myself in SD County, I discover that Killer Pizza from Mars (KPFM) has closed down for an undisclosed amount of time (felt like, and might as well have been for forever's time). Well by some sort of act from God, KPFM re-opened and I counted the days until my younger days of being a "Jolly Green Giant" could be re-lived... Those days were to be re-lived before the year's end, as I had visitors and we were armed with some thuggish coupons! It was New Year's Eve 2012 when I ordered from here, and it was probably one of the greatest ideas of all year. I had clipped a coupon deal from the mailer and handed it to my little sis. We decided on a two-fer deal where we would get two medium-sized pies with two toppings for $24. I found out later that it was a really good deal because their medium pizzas were the size of Domino's larges -- it's not the normal conglomerate-pizza- chain-company-sized-medium...it was pretty sizey!! We ordered [1] pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, and another pizza with meatballs as well as garlic & basil. We were told to pickup the pizzas in about 20 minutes time, and we gleefully did so. The pizzas were "out-of-this-world!" (--- Aaaahhh!! See what I did there?!?! The only gripes I had with this place are that it's a bit pricey and the fact that they don't deliver. These issues can and may be trumped however, because living as a self-proclaimed hermit, I have become somewhat of a cheapskate. On the delivery issue, living as a hermit has made me lazy and not want to waste gas driving anywhere...BUT still...why not deliver?! The pizza is undeniably delicious. The atmosphere is definitely cool too. My kids had fun playing on the retro games. However, the young lady who took our order was rude. She was playing on her phone the entire time I was trying to order and clearly had better things to do. None of the workers had hair nets, hats, or gloves (I mention gloves because I do not know if they had washed their hands either) on while making the food. The 3 employees did make someone that must go there pretty often a "birthday cheese bread" which was very sweet of them. Which is great!
