The food was delicious and the large pizza was enough for 3 adults and we took about 3 big slices home. The service was quick and the space had a decent amount of seating. There was only one bathroom so that was a little inconvenient. They did have one tv playing sports and a bar area. I would definitely come again.

Got the small vegan pizza, and as advertised, it was HUGE. My hand for comparison. Very thin crust, doesn't hold up well for the next day, still tasty and great size for parties or gatherings. Service was prompt and friendly and inside was clean and not busy. Recommend ordering for pickup.

Oh man, what happened to this place. The once yummy mashed potato and bacon pizza was served barely warm and was incredibly gross!!! Crust was burnt black and cheese wasn't even melted. How'd they manage that? So disappointing. Tasted charred. Only Positive I can come up with is that the smalls are decent size, so there's that. $26 for the small. But size is worthless if it's not edible. Attempted heating it up, still didn't help, tried scraping the burnt crust off, wasn't possible, crust was too dry, major flop. First time trying their wings. $16 Unfortunately they were super dry and most were even tough/overcooked. Paid $50 extra for BBQ and sauce tasted bitter and tangy not in a good way. Not sweet. Tasted off. Paid extra for ranch. It was good! Attempted eating pizza and wings dipped in their yummy ranch but the char taste was too overpowering. $60 total for a small charred pizza and dry bitter wings. My husband will eat just about anything without complaining but took a few bites and opened a can of soup for lunch instead. He asked we never get food from this place again. Burnt taste stuck with us all day. *sad*

    Barbecue pizza. Really really good.

You can't go wrong with this place. The candied walnut pear salad is the best thing ever & I don't even like pears, but somehow in this salad they are necessary and it ties in so well. The pizzas are always good. The service is always great. They're kind of like neighborhood guys that make pizza. It's a good vibe. It feels like Vista Village if there's a feeling you can put towards that. I love the place and I love the concrete board on the wall. I think that's so cool.

I have pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, fresh mushrooms. So yummy!!! This is the small.

OMG if you want pizza full of flavor this is the place to go. They have a brick oven and the ingredients are all fresh!!! The service is great. They're all so very nice. And I love the energy here. Oh, and the wings are so worth getting!!!!! So freaking FIRE!!!! The restaurant is very alive and fun. A great spot to have dinner.

Food was pretty good. Restaurant was practically empty and fairly clean - we had to ask to have the table cleaned (restrooms were not, eww). Service was fast! Food was fresh. Menu is fairly simple. Not cheap, but not over priced.

Definitely recommend if you like thin crust pizza. We visited the Vista location on a Sunday night around 7pm. We thought there was a large wait but all the people outside were waiting for the Handel's ice cream next door. We had no problem ordering at the counter and getting a table. They have several interesting specials but we opted to order our own customization. The garlic sticks came out first and they are very generous with the cheese, a big portion, and they were flavorful. The pizza came out shortly after and was also very good. The combination of the thin but chewy crust with the end crust having a bit of char was on point for us. The restaurant has several tables inside and a few outside.

The decor is definitely old-school, with an aged charm that tells you this place has been around for a while. Even so, the furniture is well-maintained, and the entire dining area looks clean and cared for. The service matches the traditional vibe. The servers are mature, efficient, and no-nonsense -- the kind who still bus their own tables and focus on getting you what you need without the fluff. It's refreshing and perfectly suits the atmosphere. The food, though, is the real standout. I first discovered their pizza when my brother-in-law brought one to a party, and I couldn't believe how good it was -- easily one of the best I've had in a long time. On my recent visit, I decided to try a sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. The bread was soft and fresh, the meats flavorful and well-balanced, with everything working together without overwhelming the taste buds. Overall, Mama n Papa's offers an excellent meal and a warm, nostalgic experience. If you appreciate great food in a traditional Italian setting, give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

Our waitstaff was headed by Kap & he did an excellent job. Told us to check out the happy hour menu since it was almost over, so we could get appetizers in at a reduced price. Ordered the calamari (crunchy, yet tender), bruschetta caprese (piled high with mozzarella & basil & chopped tomato), Caesar salad (crisp greens with a garlicky Caesar dressing), meatballs (2 large in a marinara sauce - so tender). They also have sliced warm bread on the table with olive oil/balsamic or butter. The drinks were perfect - nice and chilled and crafted perfectly. Kap also made a great recommendation on a bottle of wine. The menu has changed though. Some of our favorites have disappeared... (seafood risotto), so tried other dishes. Carbonara is so rich & creamy. The pizza margharita was cooked perfectly with a nice crust, but was a little lackluster in taste (not enough cheese maybe?). I did order a side of pesto to add some flavor. The lobster ravioli is always great here, so 2 people ordered it. Added chicken to the vodka penne (grandson's plate was completely emptied). Also had a fettuccini Montanara. Everyone but the grandson had leftovers to take home, so servings more than adequate. Kap really made the dinner perfect. Attentive without being over-bearing & making great recommendations throughout. Will definitely be back.
