Great bar, great pizza, great service. Got to watch the Padres game with a pizza, nothing better!

I've only been here once. Let's get that out of the way first. I ordered baked ziti which is my favorite. I ordered this for delivery. Most of the time it has ricotta, mozzarella, noodles and marinara sauce. This version had no ricotta, which I really missed. The noodles fell apart and I couldn't use my fork to pick them up. They weren't mushy. It could have been worse, but they were far from el dente. The sauce was almost non-existent. They had a great amount of mozzarella cheese on top which I loved. There was liquid in the bottom of the container. I didn't appreciate that. I was eating soft noodles with a glob of mozzarella cheese. That's what it tasted like. If they don't have ricotta, they could at least use more of the sauce so that it would seem like a pasta dish. Maybe drain the noodle better so there's no liquid in the bottom and cook the noodles less. I get it. It's a chain restaurant and not a high end place, but the food still needs to be prepared properly. Based on how this pasta dish was, I wouldn't order pasta from here again, but I would like to try the pizza to see what it's like. read more

The place was cool, we went for a bit while waiting for a movie to start. It was the middle of the week so it's was understandable that the drink selection was small. The server was kind and gave options. The regulars were dude AF as if they own the place. They have a touch tones and we paid to have our songs played and moved to the front of the queue since we were o my gonna be there for a bit. Then all of our songs got skipped but this can only happen if the remote was used. After speaking to the server turns out some regulars got comfy grabbed the control themselves and skipped our songs. The server gave us coin vouchers so it was cool in the end but it ruined the vibe. read more

We went for dinner on a Tuesday around 7:00pm. We waited for about 10 minutes at the front before somebody came to take our order. There was a young girl at the register, talking with two of her friends for quite a while before she walked away, and someone else came to help us. We ordered a medium everything specialty pizza ($4 off/ Tuesday special) and a small pepperoni (for the kids) and some chicken wings. Unfortunately, I didn't find the gentleman who took our order super friendly either. We were one of four tables on the non-bar side. The chicken wings came out fairly quickly. And then the pepperoni pizza came first, and then the medium pizza. No plates, no napkins no utensils. We asked one of the girls that brought someone else's food out for plates and she directed us to a side area instead of getting them for us. Overall, the food was really good. The pizza was good. It was loaded with topping so much that they fell off. The one thing that bothered me would've been the attitudes of the people working there. It's not like it was a super busy night like I said there was only four tables and they came after us. I don't live near there, but I would probably go again if I'm down in the area with my family. read more

They have Mountain Dew!!!!! We prefer that soda but it's so rare we see it at restaurants. Garlic bread was ridiculously delicious. I want more! Pizza bread was ok. Great atmosphere if you have kids. There's a game room and outside the bar there's seating where the kids can go. The food is mediocre. We had a pizza, Greek salad and wings. The beer is ok and the vodka tonic is tonic. Service is ok. If you are going to a movie, the theater is right next door. read more

was really excited to try this place, especially for the gluten-free pizza which was honestly delicious. Unfortunately, the service was so bad it completely overshadowed the food. We arrived at 8:20 PM, well before closing time at 9:30, but it took far too long for anyone to acknowledge us or take our order. Once we were seated, we felt unwelcome the entire time. Two staff members gave us dirty looks and stared at us as we ate, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable. Other employees were loudly flipping chairs right next to us, as if trying to send a message that we shouldn't be there. The only positive part of the service was one kind employee who treated us decently. Everyone else was rude and unprofessional. I've never felt so watched and disrespected while trying to enjoy a meal. I really wanted to like this place, and the food deserves better staff. But based on the way we were treated, I won't be coming back. read more

We always have the veggie pizza. I think it's the best veggie pizza in Vista & Oceanside! It's topped with so many veggies that you get a mouthful with every bite. I also enjoy it with a Rita Red, my favorite on tap beer there. Missing one star is due to service. It could be improved. Maybe they are short staffed. Not sure. It's slow. read more

The pizza here is delicious! My absolute favorite pizza from here is the Mediterranean pizza. It has pesto sauce, red sauce, chicken breast, onion, tomato, mushrooms, green olives, mozzarella and feta cheese. Very flavorful! The Linebacker comes in at second place if you're in a meaty mood. Pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, regular bacon, ground beef, and sausage. They are very generous with the toppings! Also the crust is perfect, not too thin and not super fluffy where it feels like you're only consuming bread. There is a family area and a full bar area with many beers on taps. There is also an outside patio with a fire pit. Seems like a cool place to watch a game or just hangout with friends. Definitely recommend giving their pizza a try :) read more

We reserved for 13 people for my daughter's birthday, yet there was no preparation when we arrived--we had to move the heavy tables ourselves while our server, Angela, just watched and gave us nasty looks. It was our first time there, and we didn't know how happy hour worked. When we asked Angela if it was happy hour, she said yes but never gave us the happy hour menu or mentioned that our orders weren't included. When the bill came, we were shocked to find no happy hour pricing. When we spoke to the manager, David, he rudely defended his employee and blamed us instead of resolving the issue. This is a place that I wanted to love, but with recent service it's been difficult to do so. While the pizza menu and beer choices are good, it's hard to go back when they don't want to honor their working hours. Quite a few times I've gotten there around 8:30pm only to be told that they're already working to close (despite their website and hours being posted as 9:30pm), and that the group I am with should hurry up and rush their eating. This has included not restocking plates and silverware, turning off the soda fountains while people were still eating, and overall creating at atmosphere that felt like the group was a burden to serve. I hope to go back sometime, as stated earlier the pizza is pretty good. They even have a decent gluten free base option that tastes good. Plus the beer menu is a nice mix of breweries that offers good selections. Hopefully the working hours issue gets resolved. read more

Foods always a 10/10 but for a $50 Medium whole nine yards "Uber Eats taxes and tip" you'd think you could include a few ranches when requested in the special instructions field. We went early on a Friday night and it was just right. This place is separated into a bar area and dining area. The dining side was Batali empty but stayed to get busier by the time we left. The bar area was petty busy and a bit loud, but no big deal, it's a bar. We got a couple of appetizers and a cobb salad. You order up front and they give you a number for your table, then bring it the food when it's ready. All the food we tried was good and what I would expect. We didn't even try the pizza, but I've heard it's good. They also have a small game room with several claw and con machines. There aren't any video games. Bf ordered the veggie jackson over the phone and VERY CLEARLY asked for extra marinara and jalapenos. We get home and discover there is NO pizza sauce and no jalapenos. Instead of extra they put NO sauce. We call to ask if they can remake it with sauce this time, manager says "oh the server put NO sauce on the order." I tell her I was on that phone call and he was very clear he wanted EXTRA sauce. Then the manager goes "she was probably confused bc we don't put marinara on our pizzas". Instead of specifying that we wanted HEAVY pizza sauce the server put no sauce. Marinara, pizza sauce tomato tomato, right? And instead of just offering to fix it right away they argued on the phone for 10 minutes until we could get them to agree to just remake the pizza bc they wouldn't allow us a refund even though at this point we were so done with the arguing we almost wanted to just take the cheese-less pizza back to them and get a refund. Why would you not specify over the phone if you were confused? And why would you not just offer to remake the pizza from the start?? Also, we had a previous incident about a year back where we ordered a bunch of food to go and we waited like half an hr and they realized that they accidentally took the food to one of the tables somehow. BUT that time the owner (i think he was) was there and not only had them remake everything stat he ended up giving us a partial refund (even tho we told him we didn't want a refund just wanted the food) AND he gave us two cans of the sour beer they had on the house. The owner was SO kind and genuinely apologetic about the mistake which is why we kept going back there even after our first experience there. But this time the servers were so rude and didn't even apologize once about their mistake that they just lost two customers. We will not be back. Too bad the owner was not there; I'm sure he would have been kinder. read more

I really have had mixed feelings about this place. I consider it overpriced for the quality of the pizza, but my family has always liked. This last visit has me thinking about not coming back. We ordered a cheese pizza and an individual BBQ chicken. When we arrived for pickup, they looked understaffed. We asked to redeem a Five Star promo, but the person at the counter didn't know how to process it so she asked for help. Someone came out from the kitchen, hand full of pepperoni slices, punched a few keys on the register, and went back to cooking without thinking twice. I was shocked and felt like just canceling the order right then and there, but we were hungry. I don't feel safe about ordering from here again after witnessing such disregard for food safety. read more

This place is connected (side by side) to Back Street Brewery. We go here for lunch. It has excellent pizzas and lunch specials that are a bargain in my mind. The brewery has a good drink menu. The service is also very good. This is not our first visit, and we have yet to be disappointed, but the staff here will be happy to to make it right if there's something wrong. read more

Okay this place is just great, and it's in the perfect location. It's a bar environment so you seat yourself, there is a lot of seats to choose from. Inside by the bar and TVs or outside on the dog friendly and smoke friendly patio. All of the drinks and food I've had here has been really great. They have a great selection of beer, and they also have cocktails. What I loved is they are extremely affordable, the bloody Mary's are only $4! They have pitchers of beer as well that are reasonably priced. The food is always so fresh and made to order which I love. The house salad is so delicious and fresh, and their ranch is really good! The individual pizzas are a great choice, and cheaper than a small pizza. So I would highly recommend the individual. The fettuccine Alfredo was so creamy and had perfect flavor. Overall I think most of the food and drinks I've had here is a winner. The only downside is service can be a bit more friendlier, and the menu is tad pricy on the full size pizzas. We walked in and the guy at the front told us it's open seating. So we found a cozy table in the corner of the patio and down. He brought us menus shortly. We figured out what we wanted and waited for our server to order some appetizers and drinks. We waited for the server to come back and take our order, but he was taking care of a table getting ready to leave. He went back inside and came back out in a bit to give them the check. It sounded like something went wrong so they charged for one pizza and comped the second pizza. NOT a good sign. Wanted a quick dine-in dinner place to eat at before the movies and decided to try out this place. The place is pretty big but it's kind of crazy due to kids yelling around and stuff. I kind of expected to be like a pub-like area instead felt like being at Boomers or Chuck-e-Cheese restaurant. The prices are slightly high in my opinion, such as 1 individual pizza (4 slices) cost $11.99. The person who took our order was really nice and energetic that I was excited to try out their pizza. We ordered 2 individual pizza, which were The Perfect Game and The Whole Nine Yard Pizza and waited for about 20-25 minutes for the pizzas to be served since it was slightly crowded. We sat by the booth but was slightly uncomfortable but we didn't expect much from the place. The pizza was actually good with a lot of toppings and was very cheesy. The only thing is that it just feels too overpriced for what we were getting. But it looks like there were pretty good deals during lunch time so maybe I'll try out their lunch specials if I ever get the chance. read more
