Killer Burger Basic - lunch special double meat. Great price too!
    Charlie G.

Ok.. first off... this was the best burger I have had in Eugene! Killer Burger was recommended on one of the social media sites I follow... and since I was downtown today, I gave them a try. Service... could not have been better! Food... wow. Great burger (lunch special with double meat), and really good fries! (now if they only carried Coke products, lol... don't care for Pepsi). I think I will be a regular here!

This place was the first time I've ever tried a peanut sauce on a burger and it was hands down the best burger I've ever had. The restaurant was clean the staff was nice and you could order electronically on screens there as well. The fries were great but man the burger with peanut sauce was so good I'm trying to find a way back from Baltimore Maryland.

The place has nice vibes, nice customer service, and good burgers. They play rock music and has lots of seating which fit the downtown vibes. Burgers wise, I think they're good. They have fun names and variety of toppings, I like that they have a pint size option too. Fries though, crispy and fluffy and absolutely amazing. They have malt vinegar too which I love on fries. The bender was very hearty and the fried jalapeños added a nice crunch. The fun guy burger was very juicy and cheesy but that also made the bun super soggy.

The service was good. The ambiance was also very good and chill with great sports streaming and good music. The food was amazing. I got the Fun Guy burger and 2nd picture is the double meat patty Fun guy burger. Probably the best burger I've tasted in a while for a reasonable price. Very pleasant experience!

Exploring Eugene and came across this burger place. It's definitely a fast casual place--you can dine in or take it to go. On my visit, there were a lot of takeout/pickup orders than in person diners. No table service, order at the counter and wait--the downside is the wait can be long. Based on my experience, you're better off calling in your order. Of course, we didn't know that at the time. They were quite busy--when we were placing our order they told us it would take about 30-40 minutes. We got our order in about 25 minutes. The menu had interesting names of their burger creations. They ever offer a peanut butter pickle bacon burger. We ordered the Motley Que, Barnyard & Teemah and a basket of fries (fries do not come with your order), however each burger comes with bacon. The burgers weren't dripping with juice (not a messy burger), but it was juicy and not dry. They offer a variety of dipping sauces for you fries--why go for ketchup when you can have Bomb Sauce with your fries! The fries were crispy & not greasy! Having no other burger experience in town, I thought it was an overall tasty burger and reasonably priced--ranging from $8 (basic bacon burger) to $12 (depending on the fixings you want on the burger). I enjoyed my burger and I wouldn't hesitate to come back--and I'll remember to call ahead.

Tried out ColdFire Brewing Company and had a really good experience overall. The food was solid,…read moreservice was fine, and the fried pickle appetizer plus the chips were definitely worth ordering. My only complaint was that they were out of mac and cheese as a side order, but somehow still had it available if you ordered the rib platter, a little confusing. What really makes this place stand out is the great selection of beers and cocktails. The space feels clean, modern, and new, which makes it an easy place to hang out. I just wish they had a larger outdoor seating area instead of the small patio with only a few chairs. Overall, we'll definitely be back for the food and drinks. Cheers!

We went to their new public house for dinner on a Wednesday and the place was hopping. Their new…read morebuilding is very cool (and not quite done yet!). The new public house is pretty much behind their original spot, overlooking Coburg Road. We sat in a booth with very tall walls that felt very private but I don't feel like I could tell you the vibe of the rest of the restaurant. Since I was sitting in the back of the booth, I could only see two other tables that were along the windows and the traffic going by in the dark. Next time we'll ask not to sit in a booth so we can see more of the restaurant. Our server informed us that the public house was split into two sections. We were in the full-service restaurant part and there was a more casual (order at the counter?) section by the front door for people that just wanted to grab a beer and sit at a communal table. Our server was excellent. Not the typical Eugene service from him! He answered our questions about the beers and brought us tastes and had all the answers ready about the food. They were out of two things (understandable at such a new spot) but I noticed that they had already changed their menu a few times in the few short weeks they've been opened. Yay for seasonal menus!! Our party went super basic and we all ordered the Butter Burger (the butter is mixed into the patty so it helps the burger caramelize) which came with fries. We also split the grilled potato salad(served chilled), which was a good sized portion to split with our group of five. My kiddo got the wings (sauceless) and fries. We'll be back to try more of the menu items and sit at a table without walls.
