Tried this place for the first time. Friendly staff good burger selection. I ordered the fun guy burger... I would like to tell you how the burger tasted, but can't cause all I tasted was their "house sauce". My burger was loaded with it. So much that I couldn't even taste the pickles, cheese or meat. The house sauce is a weird combo of peppery, mayo, ketsup nastyness that overpowers any other flavor on that burger. We waited a long time for our food. To our disappointment, the fries were cold. We sat in a kinda cramped section of the restaurant in front of the soda machine. I sat next to a little partition dividing 2 seating areas. They have a poorly attached stainless steel corner guard on that partition. I barely rubbed my arm against it by accident and the sharp edges cut my arm. At least they were nice enough to give me a band-aid. read more

Killer burger is fantastic! The prices are exceptionally reasonable. I love that you can make your burger "girly" and save a few bucks! My husband and I have tried a few of their specialty burgers and we're always blown away by how good they are. I can't pick a favorite!! We almost didn't try killer burger because of the reviews about the "heavy metal" music being so loud but honestly I think people are being dramatic. They've only played "heavy metal" one of the six times we've been there and it wasn't all that loud. read more

I've gone to killer burgers twice and have been disappointed both times. The first time i went in I ordered then sat and waited for my burger for 45 minutes. Then they retook my order and I waited another 20 minutes to get it. I was running very late at that point and had to get it to go. I didn't have time to eat it then and it was cold and old by the time I could get to it, so I threw it away. they did give me a coupon for a free burger. I went in last night and ordered again. I waited for 20 minutes and finally had to leave without any food. I have yet to actually taste their food. It may be fantastic, but my curiosity about it is gone at this point. read more

Just recently went here for the first time and was not impressed. I mistakenly (my fault) ordered the "Old School" burger because it was the only burger listed with cheddar. I asked to have the mayo and mustard left off (both listed twice in the description) and add the house sauce. The burger showed up instead drenched in mayo and mustard. (I don't know how anyone could eat that). I took it up and let them know it was wrong. It took nearly as long, if not longer, than the original order to just to get a replacement. It showed up with mustard and not much, if any (I couldn't taste anything but the grease and mustard), house sauce. I didn't bother taking it back again. The burger, while good size, was greasy. One thing to note is that all the burgers come with bacon. I like bacon on a burger but these were smaller, shriveled, somewhat thick, and slightly overcooked pieces that really didn't cover the patty. When I went asked one of the servers, who was cleaning at the time, for a box she said she'd bring one right over. She continued to clean and never did bring a box. The place was pretty loud, the service was mediocre at best, and the food was underwhelming. The portion size was good (hence two stars instead of one). Also, the men's restroom was fairly dark and not exactly clean. Overall I was not impressed with the place and won't be going back. read more

I came here once and was told their fries are gluten free, since then I have come back twice and they have refused to sell me a side of fries without buying a whole burger. I am very allergic to their buns and sauces, I am socked by how inconsiderate this establishment is of allergies and health needs. Amazing fries, terrible service. read more

Burger was good, but wasn't great! I just got the classic so I'm not sure how the other burgs taste. I haven't tried other burger spots in the area so I don't have anything to compare it to but I will say this, they don't have avocado and no gluten free options for buns and they don't do lettuce wraps. I'm from Portland and I used to visit the Killer Burger on sandy blvd about once a week, I was very happy to hear that a KB was being built in Eugene! I usually go with the peanut butter burger 9 times out of 10. The fun guy is a good burger, the burger with pulled pork and bbq sauce is really good and the green chili burger is mighty tasty as well. You could go to KB for a classic style burger but there is no fun in that! Plus the fries are always fresh and I think they are bottomless. If you go please get me one to go, I will surly pay you on Tuesday! read more

Great burger place...probably my favorite in Eugene. Dickie Joes is a totally different type of burger place, so it's hard to compare the two. Burgers are huge--recommend the "girlie" size for regular sized burger. They have Happy Hour where you get a burger and unlimited fries for $5.95 (only certain burgers though). Music is a little too loud as mentioned in other's posts. Service was a little slow (for a burger place). Overall a great addition to downtown Eugene! read more

Everybody gives this place good reviews, I seriously don't get it. The hamburger I got wasn't very good, it had to be one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I have been her two times. The Killer burger was pretty good but the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger had way to much sauce, which made it very very soggy. I will probably give them another chance but I will get the sauces on the side and add them myself. I really liked the fries and bottomless made them even better. We each had a Fun Guy (mushroom) burger. The house sauce was so thick that we couldn't really taste our fungi - just this salty, mustard-y sauce. And the burgers seemed smaller than the first time I went there, as far as the amount of stuff on the bun. Disappointing. However, the fries were tasty and cooked to a crispy golden brown, if a bit salty for my wife's taste. Finally, I think the location is a bonus, not a detriment. We did some great people-watching sitting at the window seats. Amazing how far Eugene's downtown has come since I moved here in the mid '80s. And... no 80's metal music! We got a wide mix of funky tunes, from newer stuff all the way back to "Sexual Healing" and "Tear The Roof Off The Sucker (Give Up The Funk)!" Very groovy. read more

Not the best place for a sit in meal, waaaay to loud and always to crowded, I enjoy the Jose Mendoza burger but it's not amazing, honestly cornucopia burgers blow this place out of the water but their alright for a little downtown burger joint, it's a hit or miss with the food, my only advice is order your food to go. Ordering was a pain in the neck... literally! The menu is at an angle up above the registers and it's hard to see. When ordering the guy seemed confused that I wanted a kids burger with peanut sauce and a drink. He then spent the next 5 min talking in a circle about how I could get a bigger size or change the type to a different burger if I wanted the sauce, yet when asked "I can't just have it on the side?" He stated "oh yeah guess I can do that...". After all this I still had hopes that this burger would be all I had been told it would be. I should have just gone home to be honest. I was underwhelmed by the flavors and unimpressed especially in regards to quality for price. read more
