More seating and play area in the back

We celebrated a 10 year old family member's birthday here back in January & we had a very good time. It was on a Sunday morning. The place wasn't busy at all. Staff was masked and we were required to wear masks and take off our shoes when we walked in. They have lockers to store away your personal belongings but they also give you a basket to place your shoes in and you take it in with you. The front desk area has locked gates for kids safety. We had to sign a waiver for each person over the age of 18 when we walked in. The place is so much fun for pretty much all ages. Even though this was a kids party, we the parents had an incredible time as well. The laughs we had when we were sliding down with the kids were amazing. For this party, we brought food in. Their website has instructions on whether they allow food from outside or not. It depends on whether this is a party or you're just coming in. If you decide to eat from outside, you can easily leave, get the food and come back. You don't get charged extra for any thing. The play area has a toddler section which our toddlers enjoyed, and the rest of the area is an indoor playground for pretty much any age. We bought some tokens to ride their motorcycles but other than that, we didn't have to pay for any thing else. The place is relatively clean. Bathrooms were clean too. Masks were not very enforced inside the play area. Back then, this was making us uncomfortable. We were all wearing masks. We took our daughter a couple of times after January to play in the toddler area. She loves to play there very much. We went on a Saturday night once. It was very busy. We would prefer to go on days when it's not very crowded. Overall, a fun play area for the kids and a cool birthday party location. We will return in the future.

Great place to let the kids run around and explore. The slides are FAST if you're an adult going down with your little one so be ready! Gal at the front desk was friendly and helpful. It was pretty much empty when we were there. Will definitely be back anytime we're in the area with our little ones.

Great place to beat the heat. The roof has been leaking the last few months, drops the rating by 1

It's always something with this location. They have poor customer service. I would recommend the location in Gilbert over this location.

Tickets are $21 for 2+ yo and they also require kiddos to use their Superplay socks. Guardians are not charged and not required to wear grippy socks. They have a lot of different attractions such as The Floor is Lava obstacle course, huge ball pit with an interactive play screen, large play structures with multiple slides, basketball court with many hoops of variable heights, a giant ground air trampoline, tube slide, food and drinks for purchase, quiet private pods (for nursing, phone calls, etc) and even a peripheral track for adults to walk around and get exercise. My kiddo thought everything was super fun and he had a total blast. One thing I did notice the entire 2 hours we were there, was zero attendants monitoring the play structures. My kiddo was told by other kiddos that he could not go on the tube slide which definitely wasn't true because he was old enough according to the age requirement. Meanwhile, the same kids were both riding in the same tube, which is not allowed according to the same sign. I was wondering where their parents were. Also, the interactive screen in the ball pit had a lot of technical difficulties. It would not consistently respond to the balls hitting the targets or even a hand hitting the targets. So definitely a few areas of improvement needed, but overall, we had a really great time!

I felt like no one was working here to ensure safety and make sure kids were following the rules. There were giant "kids" running everywhere and knocking me and my child down. Kids were running up the slides, running into us coming down. This happened the entire time. The trampoline area was FILLED with large children (around over 20-30 I'm guessing) on each side playing dodgeball? Some girl purposely threw the ball at my face when I was just trying to grab my kid who ran in that mess!!?? Why is dodgeball being done during public hours? Why are over 100/200 lb kids pelting me and my kid with dodgeballs? How is this allowed?? If it's a game or a camp, why isn't it roped off?? Kids much older than 5 years old were in the toddler area. I stepped in wet sticky liquid on the equipment upstairs because kids are just running around with drinks and no one is stopping them!! I'm so confused why they have rules or employees if no one enforces them or seems to be working. No parents were watching their kids and the employees didn't seem to be paying attention either. Very worrisome. It was a free for all and even as an adult chaperone I felt very unsafe.

They've aged out of the soft play areas, but now they can spend hours at the stop motion video station and exploring the newer exhibits. The recycling area is also one of their favorites. It's such a quaint little space and incredibly affordable for what you get. I also love seeing downtown Mesa continue to grow, and the museum feels like a big part of that energy. From a parent perspective, it's really easy to visit. There's ample parking, it's very stroller and diaper bag friendly, and it's a perfect place for a playdate. You can actually have conversations while the kids explore and move between activities. The mural in the courtyard is gorgeous and the puppets are always a hit with my kids. They have a bunch of different rooms for older kids to explore- music, crafts, and the middle room always changes with different displays they can play, the other big room has the scarf and air toss, building, crafts, puppet show, ball drop and more. The baby-small toddler room my son still enjoys, it has a big soft middle area, play kitchen, play vet, play theater, a very small enclosed area for babies to crawl around which is great. And another area with magna tiles and other toys like that. I also saw the reading story time area in the back of that. They have a room for eating and also an outside patio which is huge for play and eating. Would recommend to anyone. Very affordable!
